Libyan Army Vows to Secure and Stabilise Libya
The Libyan National Army (LNA) said that all units, "are ready to strike with an iron fist, anyone who attempts to prejudice the security and stability of Libya."

The 128th Brigade affirmed that "this readiness comes from our belief in the role of the armed forces, and the responsibility entrusted to us. This requires us to extend security and safety in all the territories of the country."

It added that the "miracle of the armed forces lies in what the General Command has achieved in reconfiguring and re-arranging units to combat terrorism."

On Wednesday, the LNA announced that special operations forces had eliminated IS member, and criminal mastermind of the 2014 massacre of Egyptian Christians in Sirte.

The LNA added that the operation took place after a series of investigations, and follow-up of the terrorist, Mahdi Dango in the southern Libyan region of Murzuq.

The statement explained that Dango tried to escape, and had fabricated news of his death. This was after several IS fighters were killed.

The statement pointed out that "Dango is one of the most dangerous terrorist elements, as he is the criminal mastermind and planner of several operations and crimes, including the massacre of the Egyptian Copts."

The LNA added that they managed to arrest Dungo’s right-hand, Asman Nour during the operation.

Between 30 December 2014 and 3 January 2015, 21 Christian Egyptian migrants colonists were kidnapped in the city of Sirte in central Libya.

IS published an article about the kidnapping, accompanied by pictures, in a magazine it issues under the name ’Dabiq.’ A few days later, on 15 February, a 5-minute video was published showing the slaughter of the 21 Egyptians.

Al-Mishri reviews support for constitutional talks between HCS and HoR with French envoy
The Head of the High Council of State (HCS) Khalid al-Mishri discussed with the French envoy to Libya Paul Soler support for constitutional track that includes the House of Representatives (HoR) as the two sides reiterated support for dialogue and rejection of military solutions.

HCS media office said al-Mishri talked about HCS vision for a solution to the current crisis via elections based on constitutional framework that leads to stability.

The French envoy also met with HCS member Mossa al-Koni and reiterated Gay Paree support for Libyan efforts without external intervention to reach a solution as per a Libyan vision and illusory sovereignty, extending French President's greetings and support to the HCS to achieve stability.

The French envoy hailed the progress made by the 5+5 Joint Military Commission (JMC) as it keeps the calm on the ground and reiterated the importance of the role of the Presidential Council as a Chief Commander of the Libyan Army.

Meanwhile,
...back at the dirigible, Jack stuck the cigar in his mouth, stepped onto the gantry, and asked Got a light, Mac?

Von Schtinken stopped short, lowering the dagger and trying to control his features.

If you light that thing, Herr Armschtröng, he pointed out, his voice tense, we all die!...

al-Koni hoped that La Belle France would have a prominent role in this stage as it chairs the European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
and prepares to be president of the UN Security Council next month, which could help resolve the Libyan crisis.

Iraq
Iraq calls for integration programs for the victims of terrorism
The National Security Adviser, Qasim al-Araji, called on the International community to provide integration programs for the victims of terrorism in Iraq.

Al-Araji represented Iraq, on Friday, in the first edition of the international conference for the victims of terrorism.

He said that all the communities in Iraq bravely fought the terrorist organization that forced more than 1,400,000 citizens to leave the country.

"The Iraqi government has launched a special medical, psychological program for the communities that suffered from the control of ISIS terrorist organization", he said, adding that the mental health cell at the National Security advisory is working with the support of the Iraqi government, the civil society organizations, and the United Nations
...the Oyster Bay money pit...
, to provide professional counseling and support for the victims of terrorism.

He added that clinics have been opened to help those who came from al-Hol and other refugee camps to overcome their traumas.

The Iraqi government has enacted a law on the rights of victims of terrorism, as well as the Yazidi Survivors Law, in order to enforce the law and hold the perpetrators accountable, according to the National Security Adviser.

Al-Araji called on the International community to step in to help bring justice to the victims and integrate them into society, stressing the importance of adopting a program that covers their needs.

Yazbek says giving UNIFIL total freedom of movement makes it occupation force
A Hezbollah official on Friday sounded the alarm over the latest U.N. Security Council resolution that extended the mandate of the United Nations
...a lucrative dumping ground for the relatives of dictators and party hacks...
Interim Force in Lebanon Hezbollahstan
...Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. ...
(UNIFIL).

"What are officials doing regarding the Security Council resolution that granted UNIFIL freedom of movement... without needing a permission from the army for its declared and undeclared patrols?" Sheikh Mohammed Yazbek said.

"This contradicts with the previous agreements and this is a dangerous development that turns the (UNIFIL) forces into occupation forces whose role would be to protect the Israeli enemy through pursuing the people and the resistance," Yazbek added.

"The U.N. forces did not make a comment or a stance over hundreds of Israeli violations... If the decision was taken without the knowledge of the government and the Foreign Ministry that is a problem, and if they knew that would be a bigger problem, seeing as the decision is a conspiracy against Lebanon and its illusory sovereignty," the Hezbollah official went on to say.

The Foreign Ministry on Wednesday noted that the resolution "contained a text that does not conform with what was mentioned in the framework agreement signed by Lebanon with the U.N.," adding that "Lebanon has objected against the introduction of this wording."

"Accordingly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants colonists has requested to meet with the head of the UNIFIL mission to stress the importance of continuing permanent cooperation and coordination with the Lebanese Army in order to secure the success of the mission of U.N. forces in Lebanon," the Ministry said.

The Nidaa al-Watan newspaper reported Wednesday that Lebanon had requested the removal of "two phrases mentioned in clauses 15 and 16 in the extension resolution, which stipulate UNIFIL’s freedom of movement and the condemnation of any restriction of this freedom in the area south of the Litani River."
