Europe
Time to expose Hamas' 'civilian' network in Europe
[Jpost] A new report reveals how Hamas-affiliated NGOs fundraise, lobby, and promote the agenda for the terrorist organization in the UK, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
A useful chart showing the web of connections between Hamas affiliates can be seen at the link.
European governments expressed shock at the atrocities perpetuated by Hamas on October 7, 2023, but Hamas has been fundraising, and continues to fundraise, in Europe for its terrorist activities while also lobbying in European political and social circles to promote the Hamas agenda.

Hamas - an EU-designated terrorist organization with close ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, which also serves as a proxy of the Islamic Republic of Iran - does not operate solely in the Middle East.

Therefore, Europe must heed the warning: Hamas has spent decades building an infrastructure of "civilian fronts" in Europe that garner financial, media, and political support on European soil through partnerships with its operatives and affiliates in Europe and even European politicians, the latter of whom are likely unaware that Hamas exploits them to promote its terror agenda.

The European Leadership Network (ELNET), an NGO whose mission is to strengthen relations between Europe and Israel, exposes in a new report six Hamas-affiliated groups that operate in Europe: The European Campaign to End the Siege on Gaza (ECESG), the Council for European Palestinian Relations (CEPR), European NGOs Empowerment Services (ENES), the Palestinians in Europe Conference (PIEC/EPC), the European Palestinian Council for Political Relations (EUPAC), and the European Palestinians Initiative for National Action (EPINA).

Three of these groups –ECESG, CEPR, and ENES—were dissolved after being recognized as Hamas affiliates. As for PIEC/EPC, EUPAC, and EPINA, they were merely rebranded but continue to lobby EU officials, spread Hamas propaganda, and fundraise for Hamas.

All six organizations are overseen by the very same leaders who have been designated as Hamas operatives by Israel, including Amin Abou Rashed, Majed Al-Zeer, Mazen Kahel, Adel Abdullah Doghman, Mohammad Hannoun, and Zaher Birawi.

The fact that three Hamas-affiliated groups in Europe were shut down only to reemerge under different names is crucial to understanding how Hamas operates in Europe. Hamas-affiliated activists know that they operate under the radar of law enforcement authorities. Therefore, they try to bypass those authorities by opening new organizations.

ELNET published this report because information on Hamas in Europe was scattered across multiple sites, in different languages, and without a coherent picture. Thanks to ELNET, there are now integrated reports that cover all Hamas-related activities in Europe. This will make it easier for policymakers, law enforcement authorities, and financial institutions to do their jobs.

On the first anniversary of the October 7 massacre, the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) designated Al-Zeer, Doghman, Hannoun, and Hannoun's Italy-based "charity" organization (Charity Association of Solidarity with the Palestinian People or (ABSPP), as Hamas' fundraising facades.

ELNET calls upon European leaders and law-enforcement authorities to examine its findings and investigate Hamas-affiliated organizations still operating in Europe. Banks and other financial institutions should monitor Hamas-affiliated individuals in Europe and review their financial activity. We also encourage research institutes, think tanks, and journalists to expose Hamas' fundraising activities in Europe.

Hamas has declared war not only on Israel and on the Jews but also on the West. This common enemy requires a common strategy. Hamas must be denied not only its military power but also its fundraising capabilities. Israel is taking care of the former; it is time for Europe to handle the latter.

Government Corruption
The Deadliest Government Illusion - Yes, just as you suspected, it's all BS
[ZERO] Everything the government tells you is a lie.

They are lies that are designed to destroy you. That’s not a flaw. That’s a feature. The winners are elites who’ve bought and paid for the manipulations.

Remember these whoppers? (If you believed them, you came to regret it deeply.)

  • "This vaccine is safe and effective"
  • "Fannie Mae is well-capitalized"
  • "Iraq has weapons of mass destruction"
  • "Fluoride is safe"

Of course, this is only a tiny sample of the lies they’ve told.

And the most important lie they are telling right now is about our economy.

It’s a lie that virtually every American believes. And, as a result, virtually every American is about to lose 50% to 75% of their wealth — or more.

Here’s the lie. Does this sound familiar?

  • "Inflation is contained"
  • "Inflation is transitory"
  • "Inflation was caused by COVID supply disruptions"

    None of that is true.

And neither is the magic of continued job growth: The reality is that by creating the largest wave of immigration in U.S. history and by expanding the government’s employment rolls to new record levels (785,000 new government jobs in September!), the government is creating the illusion of a strong economy.

The lie of America’s economic growth is being fueled by the largest accumulation of debt in the history of the world: America is adding $1 trillion to its government debt every 100 days.

    #17  "Inflation is transitory"

This is the most obvious and painful lie of all. The truth is, inflation is cumulative.

Example: My dad bought a Pontiac Catalina back in 1969...big V8 engine, roomy and comfortable, smooth on the road, turned and stopped on a dime. A car like that would cost over $100,000 today, maybe more like $300,000. That's inflation. It is never reversed. We never get deflation. The goal is to turn us all into slaves.

Another example: He bought his house in 1960 for $15,000. Fifty years later when mom died we sold it for $250,000. Today it would probably go for $500,000. Wages might increase but they don't keep up. That's inflation.

The government causes inflation by printing more and more money to cover their spending habits and graft. They never cut the spending. NEVER!!!

    Posted by: Grom the Reflective || 10/18/2024 15:46 Comments || Top||

    #2  Yes, Grom, they do.

    From the USDA:

In 2022, the total value of all U.S. agricultural and related products exported to the People’s Republic of China (PRC) reached a record $40.9 billion, an increase of 14.5 percent compared to the previous year. The PRC was again the largest market for U.S. agricultural and related exports. The export values reached in 2022 come after significant effort to rebuild the market for U.S. agriculture since 2018 when exports were $13.2 billion. Products in the “bulk” category like soybeans and corn dominate the percentage share of U.S. ag. exports though “consumer-oriented” products like beef, pork, poultry, dairy, and tree nuts play an increasingly important role. Top 5 U.S. export categories to the PRC in 2022 included soybeans ($17.9 billion), corn ($5.3 billion), cotton ($2.9 billion), beef and beef products ($2.2 billion), and coarse grains ($1.8 billion). In 2022, the U.S. imported $9.5 billion in agricultural and related products from the PRC, a 9.5 percent increase from 2021.

But China’s economy appears to be hitting a number of bubbles, so they may not be able to afford the luxury for much longer…

Harris Complains She Was Not Informed The Interview Would Include Questions
    [Bee] So unfair!
In response to her testy interview last night, presidential candidate Kamala Harris has stepped forward to accuse Fox News of journalistic malpractice, claiming that the media company never informed her the interview would include questions.

According to Harris, the interview constituted an ambush unlike any she has ever faced in her legal or political career.

"Holistically speaking, me and my team, we were holistically not informed that this interview would include questions," Harris said as several journalists from ABC gave her a back massage and worked on editing her next interview. "It's absolutely terrible. Even CNN at least gave us the questions holistically in advance. These chauvinist pigs at Fox are completely taking advantage of a very strong, competent, fragile woman of color. Holistically disgraceful!"

While several aides have reportedly tried to calm Kamala down with offerings of Jack Daniels and Pinot Grigio, she has remained defiant.

"Joe never had to do anything like this! I shouldn't either!" Kamala shouted at Gayle Quare, a purple-haired intern. "Where's my shot glass??"

At publishing time, Kamala had demanded that the media atone for their heinous deed by applying some heat to Donald Trump instead of always picking on her like they do all the time.

    Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Navy SEAL who killed Osama Bin Laden issues stern warning to Biden and his successor after Israel eliminated Hamas leader
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A Navy SEAL involved in the raid that killed Osama Bin Laden claims Israel is 'showing us how to win wars' by taking out Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.

Retired Senior Chief Petty Officer Rob O'Neill said Israel's strategy of targeting leaders of the terrorist group was the right one.

Israel said Sinwar was killed on Thursday when he was cornered in a building in Gaza by Israeli soldiers who spotted Hamas soldiers inside. After an exchange of fire, a tank shell was said to have hit the structure and collapsed it.

Graphic images then circulated online purporting to show the body of the Hamas leader with Israeli soldiers surrounding it.

'What Israel is doing right now is they're showing us how to win a war. They're taking out the top leaders. They're going to keep doing it,' O'Neill told Newsmax.

'And they're proving to everyone, including like, even right now, our president will say, 'Well, now he's dead, we can work on a cease-fire.

'You don't don't let someone start a war and then whine about a cease-fire... Israel 'did a great job, and I couldn't be more proud.'

O'Neill said killing Sinwar 'takes away a lot of [Hamas'] abilities' and was a big morale boost for Israel a year after the terrorist group's massacre on October 7, 2023.

'This is huge for them. And I love that they were able to do it with soldiers. So the last thing that Yahya saw was probably the Israeli flag,' he said.

O'Neill said Iran was still the biggest enemy, but that 'our supposed ally in Qatar' needed to round up the Hamas leaders hiding on its soil and give them to Israel.

The former special forces operative felt the same way about the 9/11 plotters, telling DailyMail.com in August they should have been executed years ago. O'Neill added he would have carried out the death penalty himself and criticized the plea deal that spared their lives.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed - the architect of the 2001 plot that killed almost 3,000 people - and two accomplices Walid Bin Attash and Mustafa al-Hawsawi accepted life sentences to avoid a lengthy criminal trial and the death penalty.

O'Neill said the agreement was a slap in the face for the families of the 2,657 American victims who waited 23 years for justice. Family members of the victims reacted with fury as news of the plea deal emerged, on a day when more evidence of Saudi Arabia's complicity in 9/11 was revealed in a New York courtroom.

Montana native O'Neill and members of SEAL Team Six stormed Bin Laden's compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, on May 2, 2011, and cornered him. He claims he shot the most wanted man in the world in the head, ending a global manhunt that had consumed the West for years. He came forward in 2014 and named himself as the man who fired the kill shots.

War was never going to end without death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar ‐ may his nihilistic fanaticism die with him
[NY Post] There was cautious celebration in Israel on Thursday as news started to filter through that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar had been killed in Gaza. The mastermind of October 7 was — among some competition — the most fanatical leader in Hamas.

In 2011, he was the most high-level of 1,027 Palestinian terrorists released from Israeli prisons in exchange for one kidnapped Israeli soldier.

His release caused huge controversy in Israel. Time would show why.

Once back in Gaza, he became notorious for his psychopathic violence — directed against Palestinians as well as Israelis. In 2016, he was involved in the torture and murder of Hamas’ own Mahmoud Ishtiwi, whom Sinwar accused of homosexuality.

He was always the fanatic’s fanatic. In 2018, he gave an address to the citizens of Gaza in which he said: "We’ll take down the border [with Israel] and tear out their hearts from their bodies."

On October 7 last year, he made his words a reality.

For many Israelis, the killing of Sinwar was always the most important signal that the war against Hamas in Gaza could be over.

In the past year, the group’s ability to fire rockets into Israel had already been almost totally degraded. In the last 12 months of fighting, Hamas had already lost almost all of its senior commanders.

But as long as Sinwar lived, there could be no closure for the Israeli public.

There are several immediate questions that will be on people’s minds. For the past year, Sinwar has been believed to have surrounded himself in the tunnels of Gaza with some of the Israeli hostages stolen from their homes on 10/7. Are they still alive? And if so, where are they?

It is possible that Sinwar long ago lost track of which hostages were where, as Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist groups spread them around Gaza.

Or perhaps he did, as was long believed, keep what he would have seen as the most valuable hostages (women and children) close around him. He was reported to move around the tunnels of Gaza with these hostages and a permanent accompaniment of explosives so that if he died, they did too. But it seems, based on early reports, that this was not the case. He died with other Hamas terrorists above ground.

We know from written and verbal messages passed by Sinwar in the past year that he saw this battle as a civilizational one against the Jews.

And that he regarded any and all Palestinian civilian casualties of his war as "necessary sacrifices."

His fanaticism may well have been one of the most important forces to have prevented an earlier end to the war and a deal to hand over the remaining hostages. Sinwar knew that he would not live if all the hostages were released.

The fate of the remaining hostages will hopefully become clearer in the coming days. Perhaps now that Hamas’ leadership is almost completely destroyed, there will be the kind of chaos that has broken out in Hezbollah since its leadership was also destroyed in recent weeks. The chaos could lead to further killing.

Or it could lead to people realizing that there is nothing now worth fighting for and that it is finally time for Hamas to bring this war to a close.

It is known that Sinwar was a major block to any discussion even of postwar planning or Gaza. He had let it be known in the tunnels that he thought it "shameful and outrageous" that some Palestinian factions were engaging in talks last December about postwar reconstruction.

So there is likely to be a sigh of relief across the moderate Arab countries as well as across Israel that this maniac has finally gone to the dust.

What it means in the short term is that an end to the war may finally be in sight. Israel’s prime minister has made it clear since last year that he is interested only in total victory against Hamas.

Many people said Benjamin Netanyahu would not be able to achieve that goal. It seems they are the ones being proved wrong.

In the longer term, it is possible that, with Sinwar gone, Israel and its regional and international partners will finally be able to imagine what a deradicalized, postwar Gaza might look like.

But it is too early to have that discussion before any surviving hostages are returned home. And not returned as bargaining chips, but as a prerequisite to the IDF halting its operations.

For now, there is a much wider lesson for the region and indeed for America.

Sinwar wished to annihilate the state of Israel. He took his best shot at it on October 7. Hassan Nasrallah also wished to annihilate the state of Israel. Both were also fanatical enemies of the West. Sinwar has the blood of many Americans as well as Israelis on his hands. Nasrallah also believed that he was free to murder and kidnap Americans — including 241 American Marines in Beirut.

Both have now been buried in the earth.

Will their fanatical, bloody and apocalyptic worldview die with them? It is possible. Observers often say that such fanatics are inevitably replaced by another fanatic. But Sinwar — like Nasrallah — was a fairly unique figure. Irreplaceable, you might say.

But will people in the region — as well as the West — who fell for their bloody propaganda now realize that their side is the losing one? It would be the best thing possible for peace in the region if they did. Figures like Nasrallah and Sinwar are not "saviors" of the Palestinian people.

They were always the worst menaces to the Palestinian people — ensuring by their actions that peace was not achievable and war would be the only end.

Sometime in the past year, Sinwar passed a message through the tunnels in which he said, "We have the Israelis right where we want them."

He didn’t. But now the Israelis have Sinwar exactly in the place he deserves.

#4  Israel has been under great pressure to end war since about 10/14/2023, Anon1. God was generous when Bibi won the last election — or rather was the only one able to pull together a workable government from all the players available. Not just pressure from the Biden-Harris administration, but from the Anglosphere and EU countries, the UN and other international organizations, the Arab and Moslem countries, and the very vocal Israeli Left. It will only stop should Donald Trump be sworn into office in January.

There Is a Mental Illness Crisis Among Liberals
[HotAir] I am not speaking metaphorically. I am not using hyperbole. And I am not projecting my political prejudices onto people with whom I disagree.

It's just clear as day that a substantial fraction of Democrats are out of their minds. Quite literally, they have lost touch with reality.

We often talk about Trump Derangement Syndrome, and it is a very real thing. But what I am talking about is something deeper and even more troubling, although the madness is expressed most vividly when lefties talk about Trump. We are facing a genuine mental health crisis.

Some Democrats--not all, of course, or even the majority of people who will fill in their ballots with ill-conceived votes for Democrats--have genuinely lost their minds. It's not exclusively Democrats, of course, but the home of mental illness-driven politics is in that party.
To paraphrase Lazarus Long: "Want what they want, when they want it - and think this constitutes a natural law".

#2  My observation seems we have fewer liberals as in the past. The few that remain ware face masks still but many have gone missing. I suspect the vaccines played a part in their early demise. Those who still live have many reoccurring medical problems of all types. I see many people every day all walks of life. I find it a pleasant trend as much less drama occurs. A state of past years of normalcy appears.

#3  My hypothesis is that we sit in the intersection of two alternate universes in which people view their surroundings and the world in general so differently from each other.

hysteria. (n.) nervous disease, 1801, coined in medical Latin as an abstract noun from Greek hystera "womb," from PIE *udtero-, variant of *udero- "abdomen, womb, stomach" (see uterus). Originally defined as a neurotic condition peculiar to women and thought to be caused by a dysfunction of the uterus.

#4  #3 Yes, The information accepted confirms their own experience or beliefs. I have spoken with the liberal and I have found the exchange of information impossible. The liberal mantra is always the same. So at family gathering you are told not to talk about politics and so on.

#9  I find it difficult to believe that tricking the body into thinking it is pregnant for five years of club lifestyle is a zero effect mentally.

The matrix shows me that commercial, its literally the hook.

And that was before Nanny TikTok and Generation Covid emotional retardations.
