...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula, largely made up of sand and oil rigs. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual haj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. Formerly dictatorial and steeped in Olde Tyme Religion, deferring to Salafist holy men on all issues, it has now done a 180 and is making a serious effort to modernize, so as not to be left in the sand by its Gulf Arab neighbors. The holy men have been shoved to the background and the nation is now still dictatorial but somewhat Frational. That doesn't make them trustworthy, but it's a start... is paying to 1,485 individuals from Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... i crude oil revenues through the National Commercial Bank of Saudi Arabia.
According to the activists, 1,485 individuals receive a total of $5,356,000 monthly from the National Commercial Bank of Saudi Arabia, derived from Yemeni crude oil revenues.
Shocking figures indicate that 220 provincial agents each receive $4,500 per month, totaling $990,000.
Additionally, 120 members of the "House of Representatives" in Aden each receive $5,500 monthly, amounting to $660,000.
The activists also reported that 600 media personnel and activists each get $2,500 monthly, totaling $1.5 million, while 300 advisors to ministers and commissioners receive $4,000 each, totaling $1.2 million per month.
They also revealed that 52 ambassadors receive $7,000 each monthly, totaling $364,000, while 52 consuls get $4,500 each, totaling $234,000 per month.
Furthermore, 111 individuals affiliated with the ministers in the pro-coalition puppet government each receive $3,000 monthly, totaling $333,000. Meanwhile,
...back at the game, the Babe was wondering why the baseball kept getting bigger and bigger. Finally it hit him... 30 employees of the so-called "Prime Minister’s Office" receive $2,500 each, totaling $75,000.
In July 2023, Ahmed Hajer, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance for Planning in the Sana’a government, confirmed that Saudi Arabia has been holding more than $13 billion from the Yemeni crude oil revenues at the National Commercial Bank of Saudi Arabia since 2016.
Meanwhile,
...back at the game, the Babe was wondering why the baseball kept getting bigger and bigger. Finally it hit him... the International Center for Journalists published a report in 2022 titled "Figures of Yemeni Crude Oil Exports," which revealed that from 2016 until the end of 2021, exports amounted to approximately 189,170,730 barrels, generating a total revenue of $13,025,761,831.
Thus, over 13 billion US dollars worth of Yemeni revenue is directly being withheld or siphoned off from the treasury, at a time when millions of Yemenis are suffering from food insecurity and precarious living conditions.

[IsraelTimes] Israeli software company Wix has reportedly been ordered to pay €35,000 ($38,000) to a former employee in its Dublin branch after she was fired in October for sharing posts on social media in which she called Israel a terrorist state, among other inflammatory statements.
According to The Irish Sun, Wix has acknowledged that its firing of 27-year-old Courtney Carey was "procedurally unfair."
Ireland’s Workplace Relations Commission imposed the compensation, which is lower than what Carey demanded, citing what she described as being "blacklisted" from the tech sector following her public dismissal.
In a post shared on her LinkedIn profile just weeks after Hamas ..the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,... ’s October 7 massacre in Israel, which started the war, Carey wrote that she was proud to be Irish and to "stand in solidarity with the Paleostinian people against the Israeli apartheid."
Without acknowledging the onslaught — in which 1,200 people in Israel were killed and 251 kidnapped — as the catalyst, Carey attributed the "root cause" of the Israel-Hamas war to "Zionist ideology which promotes an exclusivist state which denies Paleostinian identity.
"It is also an expansionary ideology, promoting illegal settlements on Paleostinian land," she claimed. "Do not be fooled by establishment propaganda. You can oppose Zionism as a political ideology while standing firm against antisemitism which is also a form of racism."
Carey has stood by what she wrote, saying last month: "I think I was very soft-handed. What has happened since to Paleostinians and what has been happening at the hands of the Israeli government has only exacerbated and got worse. I’m glad I said what I said."
[Washington Examiner] Vice President Kamala Harris will not attend Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to Congress.
The move is likely an attempt to distance herself from the Biden administration’s stance on the war in Gaza, which has rattled the Democratic Party. By distancing herself from the heavily pro-Israel stance of President Joe Biden, she could help neuter attacks from the progressive wing of the Democratic Party.
Dozens of progressive Democrats are boycotting Netanyahu’s speech as well.
Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Ben Cardin (D-MD) will preside over Netanyahu’s speech in Harris’s stead. He is retiring at the end of the year. Cardin is also the special representative on antisemitism, racism, and intolerance for the 57-nation Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Parliamentary Assembly.
Harris will instead meet with Netanyahu at another more private point during the Israeli leader’s stay, according to multiple reports. Biden is expected to meet with him as well.

Yet another protocol slight by Demokrats to the leader of our most important Middle East ally. Dumb on so many levels, but made Obama smile, which was the point of the gesture to those that note such signals.

Is Israel our most important ME ally? Granted they are a great ally, but what about the ones that control oil or set petrodollars to our increasingly worthless dollar? Didn't we risk blood and treasure for Kuwait?

The anti-corruption body's team had presented the couple before the court after the expiry of their previous eight-day remand and also submitted a progress report to the judge.
The 71-year-old cricketer-turned-politician has been in prison for more than a year in a plethora of trumped up cases, including the Toshakhana case, cipher case, and the un-Islamic marriage case. His wife, Bushra, has also been behind bars for months.

[GEO.TV] Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that the armed forces are already rendering sacrifices in the battle against hard boyz and stressed that it is time for the nation to stand up against Death Eaters and "digital terrorists".The DG ISPR, while speaking during a presser in Rawalpindi on Monday, said: "Digital terrorism is being done on social media. The army is standing up against hard boyz and digital terrorists. The time has come for the entire nation to stand up against them."
Lieutenant General Chaudhry said that unfortunately, serious issues were also being politicised in Pakistain, presenting Azm-e-Istehkam as an example.
"Azm-e-Istehkam is a comprehensive and integrated counter-terrorism campaign, not a military operation per se as it is being presented," the DG ISPR said during a presser in Rawalpindi.
Recalling that an Apex Committee — the country's top security body — meeting was held on June 22 over Azm-e-Istehkam, he said that the statement following the huddle noted that "we have made an anti-terrorism policy with national consensus".
The DG ISPR, addressing concerns over the campaign, said that no-go areas do not exist across the country, clarifying that there would be no more displacements due to Azm-e-Istehkam.
