IDF fighter jets struck Houthi military targets in the area of the Hodeidah Port in Yemen, the IDF confirmed Saturday evening.
Israeli airstrikes reportedly targeted oil refining facilities in Yemen's Hodeidah, according to the Houthi-run Yemeni news outlet, Al-Masirah.
Local sources in Yemen told Hezbollah-affiliated Al Mayadeen that there are power outages in several areas in Hodeidah as a result of the Israeli strikes that hit an electricity production plant.
Israel's Defense Ministry reported that discussions on approving the operational plans to strike in Yemen took place on Saturday morning under the lead of Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, alongside IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi and other senior defense officials.
The decision was reportedly approved during a cabinet meeting on Saturday.
According to Israeli journalist Barak Ravid, who quoted a senior American source, the incident was attributable to Israel, which reportedly conducted the operation alone.

The senior official reportedly said that the location of the strike was a military target used by the Houthis for gaining and storing weapons.

1. It's not a refinery. There are no refining facilities there, it's all product storage.
2. There's also considerable grain storage in the same area. Have to see the "after" images to know what was hit and what wasn't. That probably won't happen.
3. All those trucks in the one photo are petroleum vehicles to carry refined products to their final destination. Crippling or destroying a large percentage of those would REALLY have put a crimp in someone's daily operations.
4. It's ABOUT DA#### TIME! Take the war to those that wage it, and make them pay a hundred times over.

These disturbing terror plans were revealed after a phone call by Noor Wali Mehsud, the head of the banned TTP, giving instructions to his henchmen for attacks in Pakistain, came to surface, according to security sources.
This development cements Islamabad's stance that Afghan soil is being used to carry out terrorist attacks in Pakistain. Numerous TTP leaders, including Noor Wali, are reportedly holed up in regions of Afghanistan bordering Pakistain and are pulling the strings of local terror networks responsible for most of the attacks in Pakistain.
The other voices in the audio call have been identified as local commanders Ahmad Hussain Mehsud alias Ghat Haji, and Saqib Gandapur.
The call revolves around Noor’s directives on how to inflame the security situation in the country. In that conversation, he can be heard outlining two main methods for disrupting peace and order in Pakistain.
Suggesting that one method is to target government schools or hospitals with bombings, the TTP leader orders his men to carry out attacks on one or two schools or hospitals without claiming responsibility for them.
The TTP chief also hashes out a second method, which he says involves destroying the homes of coppers and soldiers.
In the call, Noor Wali instructs his lieutenants to keep the conversation confidential and ensure that no one else is aware of the plan and stresses that if questioned, he should not be linked to the operations and nothing should be traced back to TTP.
Ahmad Hussain, while affirming the TTP chief’s deadly plans, can be heard telling Gandapur to target the homes of high-ranking police, army, and FC officials with bombs and to either close down or blow up schools secretly — without taking credit for the attacks.

[GEO.TV] Israeli forces continued attacks across Gaza as the world responded to the landmark ICJ ruling declaring Tel Aviv’s occupation of the West Bank in violation of international law.
At least 24 people were killed in attacks in the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, according to local authorities.
Other killings included three people in an Israeli raid on a house south of Khan Younis and another Palestinian killed north of Nuseirat. Attacks were also reported in Deir el-Balah.

Ferder, 50, had moved on his own to Israel from Belarus in 1999, according to Hebrew media reports. He is survived by a niece in Israel and an older sister in Belarus.
"He was in the Russian army and loved playing ice hockey and soccer," Ferder’s niece Anastasia told the Ynet news site. After coming to Israel, she said Ferder joined the Israel Defense Force and served in a combat unit, and has continued serving as a reservist.
Ferder was killed and several others injured when an explosive-laden drone launched by Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... ’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels struck Tel Aviv at 3:12 a.m. on Friday. The drone took an unusual route, traversing Egypt and approaching Tel Aviv from the Mediterranean in the west. The army later said air-raid sirens did not sound, and the drone was not shot down, due to human error.
It struck adjacent to the building housing Momo’s Hostel, where Ferder lived and worked as a maintenance worker.
According to Haaretz, Ferder was born in 1974 in Novorossiysk, a Black Sea port city in southern Russia. He served two years in Russia’s military and worked as a truck driver before coming to Israel in 1999.
In Israel, he first lived in an absorption center in Tiberias, where he studied Hebrew while working in nearby Kibbutz Degania Bet. Later, he moved to Kiryat Gat to be near his father, who had come to Israel years earlier. Ferder’s mother had stayed in Russia. where she passed away.
After working at a factory in Kiryat Gat for some years, Ferder moved to Momo’s Hostel in Tel Aviv.
"I was his family here," Ferder’s niece told Ynet. "He wasn’t married, lived alone. We called each other every day, and would often get together."
The drone that killed Ferder was the first Houthi-launched drone to reach Tel Aviv.
The Iran-backed Yemeni rebels have launched over 200 drones and cruise missiles at Israel since November, according to the military. Along with Friday’s drone attack in Tel Aviv, a cruise missile struck near Eilat in March.
The IDF says the vast majority of the threats were intercepted by US forces and in a handful of cases by Israeli fighter jets and ground-based air defense systems.
