[ZH] US and UK warplanes launched several airstrikes on Hodeidah International Airport in western Yemen in the overnight and early Friday hours. "US—British aircraft targeted Hodeidah International Airport with three raids," a security source told Yemen’s SABA news agency.
The renewed attacks came after several prior US—UK attacks on Yemen Thursday. "American and British fighter jets launched five raids on various Ansarallah sites in the Ras Issa area, which includes an oil berth affiliated with the port of Al-Salif, north of Hodeidah," a local source in the western Hodeidah province told Sputnik Thursday.
US Central Command (CENTCOM) said shortly after midnight on Thursday that it destroyed five uncrewed vessels and three drones belonging to the Houthis in the Red Sea and in "a Houthi controlled area of Yemen."
Yemen has imposed a naval blockade on all ships delivering goods to Israeli ports in the Red Sea, Arab Sea, Gulf of Aden, the Indian Ocean, and the Mediterranean — in support of Palestinians in Gaza. It also recently expanded its campaign to include joint operations with the Iraqi resistance.
Ansarallah and the Armed Forces of Yemen’s Sanaa government, which are merged with one another, have also been striking US and British warships in response to a violent and acampaign of airstrikes launched by Washington and London against Yemen in January.
Ansarallah leader Abdel al-Malik al-Houthi said in a speech on Thursday that 57 people have been killed and 87 wounded in 570 airstrikes carried out by the US and UK against Yemen since the start of the western campaign.
The Yemeni army has vowed not to stop its operations until the war in Gaza comes to an end. US and UK warplanes had also carried out intense airstrikes targeting several Yemeni provinces on May 30, destroying civilian infrastructure, killing 16 people, and injuring 41 more.
Yemen responded by targeting Washington’s USS Eisenhower aircraft carrier in the Red Sea. The renowned aircraft carrier was allegedly struck by Yemeni forces two more times in the days that followed. Uh huh. Right

The western campaign has done nothing to deter the Yemenis. US and EU maritime task forces have failed to progress in preventing attacks on ships, which have strained both the Israeli economy and international shipping as a whole.

Images provided by law enforcement sources at the scene of former President Donald Trump's rally in Pennsylvania Saturday appear to show the downed suspect after Secret Service agents "neutralized" a gunman who they say opened fire on the rally, fatally striking one spectator and critically injuring two more.
Authorities were still working to confirm the suspect's identity Saturday evening.
Trump was rushed to a hospital after he appeared to suffer an injury to his ear and was pictured with blood on the right side of his face and head as Secret Service agents escorted him off the rally stage.
After agents shielded him behind their own bodies, he rose with them and held his hand up, prompting cheers from the crowd after several moments on gunfire and panic.
The Secret Service said in a statement that the attacker and one bystander had been killed. Two other people were hurt.
The gunman opened fire from an "elevated position" outside the rally's security perimeter, authorities said.
Later Saturday, the FBI said it was taking the lead in the investigation.
Bloody images from the scene show a man with a thin build and a gray T-shirt. He appeared to have been shot in the head.
Trump appeared to grab his ear and duck as agents swarmed to protect him. They can be overheard on the microphone saying the shooter, who was out of the camera's view, is down.
Sources said Secret Service counter snipers took him out after he opened fire on the former president from a vantage point about 300 yards away.
Anyone with information that could help investigators is asked to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.
Trump in a statement said that the bullet "pierced" the upper part of his right ear. The attack happened just minutes after he took the stage at a rally at Butler Farm in Butler County, Pennsylvania.
"I want to thank The United States Secret Service, and all of Law Enforcement, for their rapid response on the shooting that just took place in Butler, Pennsylvania," Trump said.
"Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the Rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured. It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country."
President Biden also condemned the attack, saying he had been briefed on the incident and that he had spoken with his predecessor and 2024 rival in the aftermath.
"I’m grateful to hear that he’s safe and doing well," he said. "I’m praying for him and his family and for all those who were at the rally, as we await further information."
[IsraelTimes] At 6:02 pm Saturday, to the strains of "God Bless the USA," former president Donald Trump ...The man who was so stupid he beat fourteen professional politicians, a former tech CEO, and a brain surgeon for the Republican nomination in 2016, then beat The Smartest Woman in the World in the general election... took the stage at fairgrounds in Butler, Pennsylvania, waving at the cheering crowd and settling into his regular rally speech under a scorching midsummer sun.
A few short minutes later, Trump pointed to a projection of a chart that showed a spike in illegal border crossings under the man he’s running against, President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. Sleazy Dem machine politician, paterfamilias of the Biden Crime Family... . "That chart’s a couple of months old," Trump told the crowd. "And if you want to see something really sad —"
That’s when the shots rang out, at least five. Trump clutched his ear as dark-suited Secret Service agents dashed toward him. He dropped to the ground as the agents yelled, "Get down!" The thousands of rallygoers packed into the field in front of him moved as one, dropping down as silence spread across the grass, punctuated only by an occasional scream.
A 20-year-old gunman shot and wounded Donald Trump in an attempted assassin at a Pennsylvania rally on Saturday in one of the most horrifying acts of violence in political history.
The former president was speaking to thousands of fan when he grabbed his ear and had blood covering his face after the suspect opened fire with an AR rifle from a rooftop 130 yards from the stage.
At least eight shots were fired and the crowd started screaming as Trump was swarmed by his Secret Service agents.
He then got up, raised his fist and shouted 'fight, fight, fight' as he was rushed away from the scene and to hospital. Just a few hours later he released a statement saying he was fine and describing the moment he felt the bullet rip through his skin.
The attacker killed a member of the crowd before he was shot and killed in the terrifying incident that has sparked questions of how law enforcement allowed him to open fire on a former president.
00:11 Gunman identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, according to reports
The gunman who tried to assassinate Donald Trump has been identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, according to reports. The 20-year-old from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, fired shots at the former president from a roof 130 yards away from the rally stage. Crooks killed a member of the rally crowd, shot Trump through the year and was then shot and killed by Secret Service agents. The New York Post was the first to identify Crooks. The FBI have not yet formally released his name.
Yesterday we were informed the shooter was Antifa member Mark Violets. It will be interesting to discover the which report is correct.
22:48 Trump's White House physician reveals his nephew was shot in the neck during attempted assassination
Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson revealed his nephew was shot during the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. Jackson, who was Trump and President Barack Obama's White House physician, said he helped his nephew and a friend get a spot in the friends and family section close to the stage at the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. He told Fox News on Saturday night that his relative was grazed in the neck and bleeding.
23:09 Police searching abandoned van in Butler
Local police are looking at a van that has been sitting on the 100 block of Lawrence Avenue in Butler, Pennsylvania, according to a local TV reporter there. It appears they are searching a van that has been sitting here for hours with out of state plates. Bomb squad is on their way, posted WTAE reporter Yazmin Rodriguez. The street is about a 15 minute walk from the fairgrounds where Trump held his rally, according to Google maps.
21:48 RNC and Trump campaign say convention will go on as planned
The Republican National Committee and the leaders of the Trump campaign said in a statement Saturday that the Republican National Convention will go on as planned. The Milwaukee-based convention is expected to kick off Monday and go through Thursday. The statement was signed by Republican National Committee Chair Michael Whatley and Co-Chair Lara Trump, the former president's daughter-in-law, as well as Trump's senior campaign advisers Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita.

President Joe Biden's campaign said Saturday night that it was pulling down all campaign advertising in the wake of the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania on former President Donald Trump.
20:13 Biden campaign pulls down all ads in wake of Trump shooting
President Joe Biden's campaign said Saturday night that it was pulling down all campaign advertising in the wake of the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania on former President Donald Trump.
On Saturday, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crook shot Donald Trump in the ear from the top of a building 130 yards from the stage.
The bullet hit Trump in the ear, less than an inch away from his brain. A turn of Trump's head a millisecond before the first shot was fired likely saved his life.
Secret Service agents shot Crook dead after he got off eight shots.
Crook murdered Corey Comperatore, and two other rally-goers were injured. Comperatone threw himself on family members, taking a bullet for them and likely saving their lives.
His daughter described Comperatore as a "man of God" who "loved Jesus fiercely and looked after our church and our members as family." He is now resting in the arms of his Savior.
The gun Crook used, described as AR-15-style, was purchased legally by his father. IEDs were found in Crook's car.
Trump appeared last night when his plane landed in New Jersey. He walked unassisted down the stairs.
After six hours of silence, the FBI and Pennsylvania authorities held an impotent press conference early Sunday morning and offered no new information. No Secret Service member attended the presser, nor did Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
There are many questions about how Crook was allowed to get within easy shooting range of Trump. Was it an oversight by management, a staffing problem, a failure by agents on the ground, or something else?
In a statement this morning on Truth Social, Trump urged Americans to "stand United, and show our True Character as Americans, remaining Strong and Determined, and not allowing Evil to Win."
We are awaiting a new televised statement from President Biden, who flew back to Washington from his beach estate last night.
Recall that an attempt was made to kill Trump yesterday at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. The shooter was killed. Trump has undergone a medical examination, everything is fine with himorder. At least one rally participant was killed and two were wounded as a result of the shooting.
This morning, the White House reported that Biden had spoken with Trump after the assassination attempt. No details were given, but he probably assured Trumo that he was not the shooter!

The worthless FBI is leading the investigation....how much you wanna bet this guy will turn out to be 'known' to the FBI and was led down the same path as that kidnapping plot crew. Sure they can claim he's a republican but I don't believe it. Republican doesn't mean anything anymore anyway.
I'm 53 years old and never in my life have I felt this nation so close to something so profoundly ugly and bloody. I'm just glad if we have to do this again, my son isn't old enough.
This will not end well and I'm certain it's NOT over.
With the FBI able to spin it, they'll paint this guy as right wing, no matter what and then one of their patsy's will take out Biden to 'remove' the problem. I've said it twice on here the past few weeks.
A 20-year-old Pennsylvania resident, Thomas Matthew Crookes.
Before the attack, he recorded a video, said he hated Republicans and Trump.
QUESTION
So will we wait 6+ months to see the video or a retracted manifesto, like the LSD's have done with other incidents that conflict with their agenda?

Curiosity - wouldn’t you anticipate a minimum of two drones to provide overwatch in an outdoor crowd situation? No drones means relying on the Mark 1 eyeball

Antifa are Soros brownshirts
Sorry for America - the global cabal are trying to set you against each other
This will win the election for Trump and end his legal woes, but he is not the best candidate. RFK is the one who can pull the globalitarians out by the roots
Is this now concluded that Trump wins election? Everyone will rally to him

I would have thought the FBI would have had a sniper on the roof in question. I also suspect the local police that ignored warnings about a sniper on that rooftop probably suspected it was an FBI sniper that was being reported which is why they didn't take it seriously.
You’ll hear today from the mainstream media that the failed assassin was a “registered Republican.”
The truth is that he donated to the “Progressive Turnout Project” through ActBlue on Biden’s Inauguration Day. The project’s entire goal is to “rally Democrats to vote.”

Two interesting takeaways from the dozens of articles this morning:
1) at least one pic of Crooks (as a teenager) hints at Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. (Provenence of pic is not confirmed as he has black hair in the pic and another shows him with natural-appearing blond hair.)
2) At least several witnesses claimed there were two volleys and they didn't come from the same direction. Can you spell Grassy Knoll?
"The incredible image was snapped by New York Times photographer, Doug Mills, who recalled it being 'a very standard, typical rally' before the drama unfolded."
Why was the nearest overlook with LOS to Trump not kept under constant overwatch. And if counter-snipers did have eyes on, why did they let him shoot at Trump before - at last - shooting the would be assassin.
This stinks.

Nice that the SS sniper let the assassin shoot first. is that protocol?

Dear Secret Service: There is a new thingie called camera-equipped drones. You may want to look into picking up a couple of them. I'm certain they can easily be equipped miniaturized IFF transponders. If you have a problem obtaining said transponders, maybe Hunter could give you a hand.
Everything I try to post a certain comment it doesn't appear
I predict:
The shooter was known to agents via a cutout confidential informant, who the FBI will refuse to name and refuse to say what his task was.
The secret service will either have no answer or will refuse to answer why that roof was not manned.
Both agencies will refuse to answer or provide congress with any documents about the findings of the investigation. They will also be covered by DC judges about being forced to handover the reports. They will claim operational security.
1-2 Whistleblowers will come forward with damning allegations but then commit suicide after 'suddenly' being found to possess child s*ex abuse material.
Someone in the white house, fbi or ss will be caught on mic bragging about how the cover up of the deep state failed hit went perfectly.

The ladder is a hugely important piece of the story. Given the relatively short distance from the rooftop to the podium, the security threat assessment by the USSS had to consider the rooftop as a primary threat location. Given it was outside the event perimeter, and that the detail was apparently lacking sufficient USSS personnel, it is reasonable to presme the site was screened and checked in the final sweep prior to the start of the event. It is likely local/state LEOs were in the security zone and conducted the final sweep which would have reported the rooftop clear. But was the ladder visible or in the periphery of the building? If so, it should have been impounded or removed. If not, then the shooter would have had to bring it with him, an obvious signature for the security zone LEOs to note and investigate. If it was there, forensics might determine why and who was involved in its placement. Either way, it is a critical component in determining if this was merely incompetence or a more complex conspiracy.

Powerline:
Reportedly, Crooks was not carrying identification and was identified through DNA. I don’t understand that. How was the FBI or Secret Service able to identify Crooks through his DNA, almost immediately? Crooks apparently didn’t have a criminal record, so why would his DNA be somehow on file with law enforcement? Obviously there is an answer, but I don’t know what it is

Do we know whether Crooks had a scope on his gun. If he didn't it would reasonable that he missed.
If he had a scope and wasn't hurrying his shot, he would be expected to hit his target at the 150 yd distance.

1) If this guy was registered as a Republican it was to vote the in Republican primary to screw it up. Common tactic for these Communist Democrats.
2) The guy was a bad shot. Even iron sites at 150 yards from prone position is relatively easy shot.
How many outlets will run this picture? It had to be the picture of the day. See the courage? The defiance? The sense of purpose? It looks historical, iconic. Kinda reminds me of Washington crossing the Delaware. He is a better man than any of the people who sent his would-be assassin(s).

Now being reported that a local cop climbed the ladder and encountered the shooter, who then pointed his weapon at the cop who went back down. Moments later the shooter started firing. Unclear if the local LEO made immediate report that alerted the USSS Counter-Sniper Team to the rooftop and helped them quickly ID and neytalized the shooter. More to follow I suspect from the USSS at 130 PST.

🚨New info from a source in the Secret Service community — Trump’s usual protective Secret Service detail was worked so hard (working 7 days a week with no days off) that many of agents assigned Saturday were temporary replacements from different field offices.
This is not the usual protocol for sitting presidents and vice presidents but “typical” for former presidents, (although no former presidents have run again in modern history.)
“Trump has a permanent detail, however it’s much smaller in the amount of bodies,” the source said. “His detail has been worked so hard with all the travel that they’re working 7 days a week with shift changes. so HQ sends in temp agents to supplement - not a good scenario. Mission Failure, IMHO.”

The "glaring Secret Service mistake" was a problem assessing the line of sight + there should be an internal Secret Service paper trail on how many counter-snipers, other officers and agents were allotted to this event in Pennsylvnia, one source in the Secret Service community tells me.
Before the event, a Secret Service advance team walks the potectee's (in this case, Trump's) route (ingress/egrees) and the site then stands on the stage and looks out 360 degrees to determine vulnerabilities, keeping in mind effective lethal handgun and rifle ranges and making sure those areas are posted and covered. In this case, they missed the rooftop 130 to 150 yards away. Even for a mediocre shooter, that's not a difficult shot. Many competitive shooters compete out to 1,000 yards.
"How many counter sniper teams were there? On the presidential protective detail [agents] use as many as we needed if we could justify it. Former presidents and other details are lucky if they get one, and luckier if they get more than one."
When Secret Service agents do advance work for a rally or other event they submit a manpower request through the lead advance agent. The lead advance agent submits the number of post standers, magnetometers, counter snipers, etc, that would be needed for a particular visit.
A Secret Service official back in D.C. in manpower/protective operations then comes back and says, "You're only getting this."
"We would always be sure our requests were in writing so we would have a paper trail just in case of the present scenario we have in Butler," the source tells me.https://x.com/susancrabtree/status/1812517121538314544
[GEO.TV] The death toll in an Israeli attack on Khan Younis in southern Gaza on Saturday rose to 90 Palestinians along with 300 wounded, the Gaza health ministry said.
[GEO.TV] Israel had declared Al-Mawasi a safe zone as it pushed into Rafah near the Egyptian border, but on Saturday Palestinians raced to collect the dozens of casualties from the army's latest strike.
Sirens wailed and women screamed as children were pulled out of the wreckage and rushed to nearby hospitals following the strike on a displacement camp.
"What did we do? What did we do? We were only sitting near the beach," one woman from the coastal town cried.
What did you do? Your elected leaders started a vicious war against Israel, and none of you stopped them. Nothing like this was happening on October 6th.

It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... City's Shuja'iya neighborhood saw large-scale destruction following 12 days of intensive bombardment by Israeli forces, filling residents with grave levels of desperation.
With continued Israeli military developments targeting its main neighborhoods, the Israeli Defense Forces say a senior Hamas ..the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,... commander has been killed in a recent Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... on Gaza City. After Israeli forces redeployed from Shuja'iya, locals came back to assess the damage, but many found it difficult to identify their homes due to the total ruin.
Residents say large-scale intelligence activities had been taking place in Shuja'iya, leading to more destruction in that area. According to the Paleostinian residents, the Israeli occupation forces also invaded a local cemetery, trying to find any clue about the Israeli captives by unearthing the bodies for DNA tests, which the locals condemned as "blatant desecration of the sanctity of the bodies".
Unless, of course, any of the bodies happen to be kidnapped Israelis who died at Gazan hands.
[GEO.TV] Health officials at Nasser Medical Complex, previously the biggest functioning hospital in Gaza, said on Saturday that the hospital was no longer able to function.
Nasser Hospital is in Khan Younis, sometimes spelt Khan Yunis .
Doctors said they were overwhelmed and could not provide medical healthcare to the large number of casualties because of the intensity of Israel's military offensive and acute shortages in medical supplies.
[IsraelTimes] None hurt after sirens sound in southernmost Israeli town; IDF says troops in Rafah destroy tunnel shafts and kill multiple gunmen
Israeli fighter jets carried out an Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... Friday night on a depot in the Rafah area storing paragliders used by Hamas ..the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,... in its October 7 attacks in southern Israel, the Israel Defense Forces said.
Several paragliders were used by bandidosforces of Evil as Hamas launched its surprise attack on southern communities from the land, air and sea. Terrorists on paragliders were among those that attacked the Supernova music festival in Re’im, where over 300 revelers were murdered.
In the days and weeks following the attack, the paraglider became a symbol of Hamas supporters around the world, who emblazoned it on placards and clothing.
In a statement, the military added that troops from the IDF’s 162nd Division were continuing to operate in Rafah, destroying several tunnel shafts and killing multiple button men in the past 24 hours.
Amid the fighting in Rafah, soldiers from the Nahal Brigade called in an airstrike to eliminate a cell of three button men who fired an RPG at them from a tunnel shaft, the IDF said.
Meanwhile the army said it was continuing an operation in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. City, where over the past day troops killed several button men in close-quarters combat and in airstrikes.
The Hamas-run Gaza’s civil defense agency said it found around 60 bodies after Israeli troops withdrew from parts of the city on Friday. The bodies were found in the Tal al-Hawa and al-Sinaa districts, the civil defense agency said. Israeli forces had moved into the neighborhoods this week after ordering civilians to evacuate on Monday.
"There are still missing people under the rubble of destroyed homes, which is difficult for our crews to reach," agency front man Mahmud Bassal said.
The IDF says it has killed numerous button men in the fighting, and there was no information from Hamas on the identities of those killed. Residents and the agency said Israeli troops had pulled out after days of fighting with button men.
Also on Friday night, Eilat residents were sent running to shelters as warning sirens signaled a possible attack. The military said air defense systems and fighter jets intercepted a pair of "suspicious aerial targets that were heading toward Israeli territory from the east," terminology it has previously used to refer to drone attacks by Iran-backed militias in Iraq and Syria.
The IDF said the sirens were activated due to concerns about falling debris from the interceptors, adding that there were no injuries.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
Friday saw the military announce the killing of two high-ranking Hamas commanders: Ayman Shweidah, the deputy commander of Hamas’s Shejaiya Battalion; and Hossam Mansour, a department head in Hamas’s internal security forces in the Gaza Strip.
According to the IDF, Shweidah had carried out numerous attacks on troops in Gaza, and was involved in the planning and execution of the October 7 onslaught. Mansour "played a significant and continuous part in the preservation and presence of Hamas rule in the Gaza Strip," and also served in the terror group’s military wing, the army said. He was a director of al-Khair, which the IDF charged transferred funds to terror groups in Gaza "under the guise of humanitarian activity."
Friday also saw troops locate weapons and a command room used by Hamas at UNRWA’s headquarters in Gaza City, the army said on Friday. The troops had raided the compound earlier this week as part of a new operation carried out by the 99th Division in western and southern neighborhoods of Gaza City.
The UNRWA headquarters had not been in use in recent months. It is not clear when Hamas began using the facility. The IDF raided the compound earlier this year, discovering a major Hamas tunnel network that passed beneath it.
Israel has long accused UNRWA, the United Nations ...an organization originally established to war on dictatorships which was promptly infiltrated by dictatorships and is now held in thrall to dictatorships... agency for Paleostinian refugees, of funneling money into Hamas’s coffers and letting the terror group use the agency’s facilities.

Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade.
