[Red State and X video] Attorney Terrence Bradley, the former partner of Nathan Wade, finally had to testify this week after trying to avoid doing so by claiming attorney-client privilege with Wade.
As we noted, that didn't go particularly well for Bradley. While he relied a lot on the old saw that he couldn't remember during his testimony, he got busted saying, "oh, dang" when he was shown his texts with defense attorney Ashleigh Merchant. In those texts, he told her that the relationship between Fulton County (Georgia) DA Fani Willis and special prosecutor Nathan Wade began before they had claimed to the Court. Now during testimony, he said he was "speculating." But the extensive nature of the texts suggests otherwise.
Yet, Terrence Bradley had testified on Tuesday that he hadn't spoken to Wade in two years. He said he hadn't spoken to Wade since he left the firm they were in together in 2022.
What was going on in this alleged meeting? That could mean big trouble once again, and perhaps this meeting explains why Bradley had such difficulty remembering something now, that he was so clear about with Merchant in his texts. He had been supplying Merchant with all kinds of information to help her previously.
We'll have to see where that stands with the judge, as they wrapped the closing arguments on Friday. But this matter has been a continual drama with all kinds of wild twists and turns. So expect to see a little bit more and break out more popcorn, as we await to see what happens next.
The Georgia state Senate is already looking into all of this, as I previously noted, and has asked for Merchant's texts with Bradley. Both Willis and Wade are going to be busy answering a lot of questions in the future--and now, it sounds like Bradley may be added into that mix as well.
[NYP] A New Jersey businessman accused of bribing Sen. Bob Menendez pleaded guilty Friday to a superseding indictment alleging he helped the Democrat and his wife purchase a Mercedes-Benz convertible in exchange for the powerful lawmaker protecting one of the businessman’s colleagues from a state investigation over insurance fraud. It's not you we're after Jose, it's Bob. Please give us the names, dates, and fotos. We're here to help you. Jose Uribe, a former insurance agent in Menendez’s hometown of Union City, copped to seven counts during a Manhattan federal court hearing, including charges of wire fraud, obstruction of justice and tax evasion — and agreed to "cooperate fully" with investigators, court filings show.
US District Judge Sidney Stein accepted Uribe’s guilty plea and set a sentencing hearing for June 14. Uribe faces up to 95 years in prison if given the maximum sentence on all counts, but his actual penalty will be greatly reduced from that figure.
Uribe’s attorney Daniel Fetterman and a spokesman for the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York declined to comment.
Robert Luskin, an attorney for Menendez, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
[AllRecipes] In food, prices are lower than a year ago in places like eggs, apples and deli snacks, but higher in other places like asparagus and blackberries," said C. Douglas McMillon, president and chief executive officer, in a Feb. 20 earnings call. "Dry grocery and consumables categories, like paper goods and cleaning supplies, are up mid-single digits versus last year and high teens versus two years ago.

Inflation's not a problem, but the gov workers just had to have a raise because of inflation. They're not even pretending anymore.

Jimmy Carter tried this almost 50 years ago. Inflating the country out of debt. It doesn't work, and the current president is less intelligent than Carter was.

The people behind VOTUS aren't trying to inflate us out of debt, they are determined to loot every drawer of the Treasury for themselves and their friends and leave a smoking ruin when Trump takes office.
[Gateway] Meanwhile in the Democrat hellhole of California...
Illegal aliens will get interest-free home mortgage loans under a new California bill.
Democrat assemblymember Joaquin Arambula (Fresno) recently introduced Assembly Bill 1840 to extend a first-time homebuyer loan program to illegal aliens.
If the bill becomes law, illegal aliens will be eligible for a new program that offers a loan worth 20% of the purchase price of the residential property. There are no monthly payments and no interest accrues on the loan. Rather, the loan is paid back when the borrower refinances or sells the property. The borrower will have to pay back the original loan plus a 20% increase in the value of the property.
"It’s that ambiguity for undocumented individuals, despite the fact that they’ve qualified under existing criteria, such as having a qualified mortgage," California Democrat Joaquin Arambula said in an interview. "Underscores the pressing need for us to introduce legislation."

Get them on paper as illegals — lists like that will be extremely helpful for the feds under the new Republican president to summarily expel them for it.
Blaze Media investigative journalist Steve Baker@TPC4USA has been arrested by the FBI over alleged crimes relating to the Jan. 6 riot. Read: https://t.co/YRvChFkLu3

That this arrest was done by two black men is NOT random. The DNC are masters at imagery. They wanted to show leftist blacks and AWFLs an image of a white man being led away in cuffs to be slaughtered. They are the bulk of the DNC base and get jazzed up seeing white males harmed in some way, and this is throwing them some red meat. Period. Stop.
The idea that the Texas FBI office had nobody but black men to send to do this is ridiculous.

Trump's Shelby Park (Abbott's Alamo) visit and speech, devoid of people of color. A few in the ranks of the 36th Infantry Division, but damn few. I take it you noticed that as well ?

I guess I missed something. I clicked on the link hoping to find out what Mr. Baker did that was supposedly so bad but couldn't find any details. Was he inside the Capitol building? Is he being charged with trespassing? What the hell is going on here?

Last I heard, they weren't saying what the charge is, and if not mentioned in the article I'd put a quarter down on 'court order not to share'.
So here we have Derp Brandon:
searching, arresting politicians
arresting journalists
secret court trials
secret detention centers
trial without due process
show arrests
show trials

Baker said he was put in Leg Chains, after peacefully surrendering to misdemeanor charges. Comment above and this make it very clear there is a political message with vile racial undertones!
[Red State] Day by day, poll by poll, embarrassing gaffe by embarrassing gaffe, things just keep getting worse for Joe Biden's reelection efforts. Now, as the Free Beacon's Matthew Continetti informs us, the campaign (that is, whoever is running it; it's readily apparent that old Joe has very little idea what's going on) is growing increasingly desperate. Mr. Continetti makes some interesting points.
On February 29, Bloomberg News released another set of swing-state polls showing Donald Trump in the lead. The polls had Trump narrowly ahead of President Joe Biden nationwide, with Trump's margins in swing states ranging from plus 2 points in Michigan to plus 9 points in North Carolina.
This is now routine. According to the RealClearPolitics average of polls, Trump has held a national lead over Biden since last September. At this writing, he leads in every swing state except Pennsylvania—where he is a single point behind the incumbent. Yes, the polls in GOP primary contests have slightly overestimated Trump's support. But Trump still won those contests. And his edge in battleground states such as Arizona, Georgia, and Nevada is not slight.
The two impeachments, the 91 counts across 4 indictments, the huge civil penalties, the almost-a-decade-long trail of controversy and scandal, the warnings from former senior officials, the shadow of January 6, 2021—none of it has sidelined Trump. None of it has changed the dynamic of the 2024 presidential race. Biden is losing.
So far, I would caution Mr. Continetti - so far. It's a long way until Election Day, and a lot can happen between now and then. Predictions are notoriously hard to make, especially about the future, but trends aren't hard to discern, and the trends aren't looking good for Joe Biden. With every new poll that surfaces, it's easy to imagine Donald Trump's grin growing wider, until by the time the hardcore campaign season starts after Labor Day—assuming Joe Biden lasts that long, which is anything but certain—he will bear a striking resemblance to the Cheshire Cat.

^ but their ability to hide it is less. Their propaganda arm has lost major cred in the meantime. Doesn't mean they won't try - what are you going to do about it. Then again, the drug of power has blinded them to potential negative ramifications.

Don't worry. They will kick off WW3 and put martial law into place and just cancel the pesky elections when it is obvious that Biden will definitely lose.
