They should have been reported as missing persons fugitives, and simple Old School justice applied.

Police closed in on him by using an open-source image repository to search for the face of one of the children and then matched it with social media images shared by one of the women."
In short the Fed's collect and use Social Media posted Pictures for investigative purposes. In this case they used it to track down the mother of the toddler from a posted Social Media image to nab this POS.
Still, it does raise concerns of possible serious abuses in political agenda motivated hands.
[MSN] A new Supreme Court case about flooding has weirdly high stakes for Donald Trump
On the surface, the issues presented by Devillier v. Texas, a Supreme Court case brought by Texas landowners who claim the state should compensate them for flooding on their land have nothing whatsoever to do with Donald Trump, or the looming question of whether the insurrectionist former president is allowed to run again for the presidency.
What's wrong with this news article?
The very first mistake was to collect it from Vox.
I had him going to the Dallas Cowboys if / when they lose in the first round; maybe he can do this gig part-time?
[Outkick / Clay Travis] - Bill Belichick hasn’t even been unemployed for 24 hours yet but already has an offer from the adult webcam company ’CamSoda.’
Yes, Bill (or should we call him Slick Billy Willy) has been approached by the company’s Vice President Daryn Parker who is offering Belichick TEN MILLION DOLLARS to be a weekly cam model on the website.
Yo, I don’t know a lot of things, but I do know that I would DEFINITELY consider showing off the Gunz arsenal for ten million bucks. Show us those man boobs, coach!
"We here at CamSoda have been scouting you for some time," Parker’s offer letter began. "Ever since you walked out of that house shirtless on that Ring camera, we knew you had the physical makeup of a succession cam model. You have that barrel chest physique that so many women love. Not to mention the charm, the charisma, the bubbly disposition that pulls people in. Put simply, you’re a blue-chip prospect that has all the physical attributes and intangibles to make a lot of money performing on CamSoda."
Hot damn, talk about wooing over a free agent. Even good ol’ Bill has to appreciate that pitch! Best free agent signing since Randy Moss!
[AFRICANEWS] The head of the United Nations ...aka the Oyster Bay Chowder and Marching Society... health agency says holiday gatherings and the spread of the largest variant globally have led to an increase in Covid-19 transmission on last month.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said nearly 10,000 deaths were reported in December, while hospitalizations during the month jumped 42% in nearly 50 countries - mainly in Europa ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... and the Americas - which shared this information on trends.
"Although 10,000 deaths per month is well below the peak of the pandemic, this level of preventable deaths is not acceptable," the director-general of the World Health Organization told news hounds from his headquarters in Geneva.
He said he was "certain" that cases were increasing in other places that have not been reported, calling on governments to maintain surveillance and ensure continued access to treatments and vaccines.
Dr. Tedros said the JN.1 variant was now the most prevalent in the world. This is an Omicron variant, so current vaccines should still provide some protection.

Checking World Meters on current C-19+ Infections vs. Deaths
The Worldwide Total Death Rate seen:
893.8 per million worldwide or 0.0893799% and 90,009 Covid-19+ cases per 1 million
Interesting to oddly note:
The USA ranks#1 worldwide with 110,462,560 total cases.
329,931 cases per Million
3,560 Deaths per million,
for a 334.8M Population.
Or 0.356% death rate
So why do USA Infections and Deaths rates FAR exceed all other countries?
Was C-19+ DNA tuned?
Or was it Countries like India and others mainly did not use the Clot shot and treated with Ivermectin?
[GEO.TV] A bone-chilling cold is sweeping in as the polar vortex gears up for an icy assault across the United States.
This weekend, an Arctic chill is expected to grip the nation, leaving football fans in the Midwest shivering and Iowa voters facing subzero temperatures just ahead of the state’s crucial caucus.
The polar vortex is a large area of extremely cold air near the North Pole. It's called the polar vortex because the air in this region spins around in a counter-clockwise direction. Now, this cold air is getting even larger and moving southward, bringing a very chilly blast of air with it.

Dallas could see temperatures drop to minus 9.4 degrees Celsius on January 15,
Minus temperatures sound worse in Celsius - minus 9.4 Celsius is plus 15 degrees Fahrenheit. Celsius seems scarier, doncha know.

Somebody failed training
[10News] Federal officials confirmed that a U.S. Navy helicopter crashed in the San Diego Bay Thursday.
Authorities said six crew members were inside an MH-60R helicopter from Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 41 when it entered the water around 6:40 p.m.
HSM-41, according to a release from a Navy official, is a Fleet Replacement Squadron that trains new Naval Aviators to fly and fight the MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter.
"Due to the nature of the training, a safety boat was on location and, with the assistance of Federal Fire, all six crew members survived and were promptly moved ashore," a release from a Navy official said. Fast Rope water insertion?
Crews are undergoing medical evaluation, and the incident is under investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
The United States Coast Guard confirmed they are assisting in the incident.

[SUDANTRIBUNE] South Sudan ...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans... ’s Warrap State, home to President Salva Kiir, has approved a law authorizing the use of lethal force against individuals involved in cattle raiding, Dire Revenge killings, and other criminal activities.
The decision, reached during a meeting of the Warrap State Council of Ministers chaired by Governor Kuol Muor Muor, is part of an effort to restore law and order in the state, which has been plagued by chronic communal conflicts and cattle theft.
The Conflict Resolution and Sustainable Development Bill 2024, also known as the Green Book, was unanimously endorsed by the council members. The bill, which now awaits approval by the State Transitional Legislative Assembly, aims to address the root causes of violence in Warrap State, including land disputes, unilateral naming of other people’s places, kidnapping of girls, forced marriage and adultery, and competition for limited resources such as water and pastures for cattle.
Under the new law, individuals found guilty of cattle raiding or Dire Revenge killings will be sentenced to death by firing squad. Those caught with illegal firearms will face fines and up to seven years in prison, while those who illegally rename ancestral land will be fined, incarcerated Maw! They're comin' to get me, Maw! for three years, and forced to adhere to local customs.

Source: Small Arms Survey. 30 Oct 2023.
Warrap is the birthplace of President Salva Kiir and the seat of his power. The state is home to many of the leading generals and politicians in his coalition, including—most notably—Akol Koor Kuc who controls Warrap state; and Governor Manhiem Bol Malek wields power by remaining in Koor’s good graces. Manhiem, like his predecessor, has not been successful in quelling dissent and intercommunal clashes. This failure has heightened tensions surrounding the upcoming 2024 elections, and the real possibility of an eruption of violence.
[France24] The Taiwanese military regularly holds drills on what it calls "red beaches" — coastal areas deemed vulnerable to large enemy landings. As Beijing threatens to seize the island by force, Taiwanese historians and military planners are looking at past invasion attempts. Some say that a daring French amphibious attack on Tamsui, north of Taiwan, still has valuable lessons for the country's defence planners despite taking place 140 years ago.
The sound of crashing surf almost covers the noise of airplanes landing and taking off every few minutes from Taoyuan international airport, the main transport hub to get into Taiwan. Fishermen on the Zhuwei beach throw their lines, staring at the horizon under thick, dark clouds. This stretch of sand on Taiwan's northern coast looks deceptively normal, but it's at the centre of sophisticated war games by Beijing and Washington.
These simulations often include an attempt by the People's Republic of China (PRC) to land troops there in a bid to capture Taiwan's main airport as well as the port of Taipei, whose cranes are clearly visible from the beach. Both infrastructures, which would be critical in case of an invasion to bring in reinforcement, are within a 10km radius. The centre of Taiwan's capital with its presidential office and government institutions is only 35km away.
Text taken from a V Kontakte page of Russian military correspondent Aleksandr Kots.
[VK] Alexander Kots notes Washington’s concern about the fuel problem in the Pacific Ocean. This is reflected in the transfer of a shipment of 48,000 tons of fuel to the Philippines from Hawaii on board the Yosemite Trader tanker.
It is worth recalling that the United States has plans in mind for the unloading of the largest fuel storage facility, Red Hill. It is located just in Hawaii and can hold more than 1 million cubic meters of fuel. It was built for the war with the Japanese and by 2024 it is obsolete: environmentalists are protesting - and, what is much worse, China, with several successful hits on the only storage facility, can paralyze all USPACFLT activity for months. Can they repair a giant dam faster?
▪The United States will not be able to unload Red Hill completely quickly. There are no necessary alternative fuel storage facilities; they will have to be built first. Washington also does not have military (and civilian) tankers to create a distributed network of mobile fuel resources. And the ships themselves will become targets for drones and anti-ship missiles of the PLA.
The transferred volume of fuel will not be enough for a serious war, especially if we are talking about the only tanker transporting it. But it is quite possible to perceive this activity as the beginning of the allocation of resources for the conflict in the North-West Pacific in the medium term.

Well, UnRep only works when you can load the tankers safely. Where the tankers are loaded would seem to be the key in a Pac war that lasts more than a week. The carriers and subs may be nuke, but every other naval asset (including planes) all run on oil products.
If the Chinese can hold the US Navy at arms length and swat the refueling depots, it would cease to be a problem in about ten days.

[Rebel News] Ezra Levant is demanding the RCMP hold themselves to account after their brutal arrest of Rebel News reporter David Menzies.
On January 8, an RCMP security detail manhandled and arrested Menzies in Richmond Hill, Ontario, after a plainclothes Mountie claimed he committed 'assault.'
"You’re under arrest for assault," he said.
"Who are you?" asked the reporter. "You are under arrest for assault," replied the unidentified officer. "You’re under arrest for assault," he repeated.
Rebel attempted to ask Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland, a former newspaper executive and journalist, why her government had not designated Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) a terrorist group, who killed 55 Canadians and 30 permanent residents four years ago in a deliberate act of terrorism.
Unsurprisingly, Freeland frustrated Canadians again by ignoring the question. Given her past career as a journalist — and insatiable desire to bring it up every so often — taxpayers expect more from her.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau apparently does too. In a 2015 ministerial mandate letter to the finance minister, he wrote: "All journalists in Canada and abroad are professionals who, by asking necessary questions, contribute in an important way to the democratic process. Your professionalism and engagement with them are essential."
[HOT AIR] Just a few months ago, Hertz committed to making electric vehicles a quarter of its rental fleet. They had already announced an intent to partner with Tesla as a major provider for their future fleet, which had pushed Tesla’s value even higher. Supposedly, the scale of the demand and usage would lower costs across the board and make fleet maintenance all that much easier for Hertz and other rental agencies.
Now, however, Hertz has hit reverse — and taken a big hit to its bottom line. Bloomberg reports today that the leading rental company wants to sell off a full third of its existing EVs and replace them with gasoline-powered vehicles:

Don’t forget the gov’t recently mandated EV rental when on official travel, with some exceptions. I was on recent company travel my Hertz reservation had several add’pages of propoganda for using an EV. No thanks.

I rented a car from Hertz this summer. They had a thing where you could pick your own car from a select group. The first vehicle I picked was an EV (not a Tesla). Since I had to drive almost 100 miles to my son's house, I noped out of there right away.
