[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... has reiterated that navigation in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea is safe to all destinations except for ships affiliated with the Zionist entity.
The ministry, in a statement, pointed out that the military operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces in the Red Sea are specifically directed against Israeli-bounded ships and those heading to its ports.
It clarified that this limited and temporary Yemeni measure is exceptionally humanitarian and aims to lift the blockade imposed on the Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... Strip, which has reached the point of preventing access to food, water, and medicine.
The statement called on the international community not to be swayed by false and misleading claims by the US, Britannia, and Germany regarding alleged threats to international navigation in the Red Sea from Yemen.
"These claims are aimed at garnering international support to enable the Zionist entity to continue its crimes and achieve its objectives of aggression against Gaza, protecting it from any positive pressures aimed at curbing its brutal violation of human conscience," it added.
The statement emphasized that despite the brutal aggression and unjust siege imposed on Sana’a since March 26, 2015, it has remained committed to protecting navigation in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea. This leaves no room for doubt that Sana’a demonstrates the highest level of commitment and concern for the safety of navigation.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs concluded its statement by reaffirming that the only threat to navigation in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, as well as the security and stability of the region and the world, lies solely in the suspicious moves, threats, and provocative methods employed by the United States and Britannia.

[NYP] Several Democrats on Capitol Hill scolded President Biden Thursday for launching airstrikes against Houthi targets in Yemen without congressional approval, arguing that the action was unconstitutional.
"The President needs to come to Congress before launching a strike against the Houthis in Yemen and involving us in another middle east (sic) conflict," Rep. Ro Khanna tweeted. "That is Article I of the Constitution. I will stand up for that regardless of whether a Democrat or Republican is in the White House."
"Section 2C of the War Powers Act is clear: POTUS may only introduce the US into hostilities after Congressional authorization or in a national emergency when the U.S. is under imminent attack," the California Democrat went on. "Reporting is not a substitute. This is a retaliatory, offensive strike."
Echoing Khanna, Rep. Val Hoyle (D-Ore.) tweeted, "These airstrikes have NOT been authorized by Congress. The Constitution is clear: Congress has the sole authority to authorize military involvement in overseas conflicts. Every president must first come to Congress and ask for military authorization, regardless of party."

Trevor Bickford, now 20, was 19 when he traveled to New York from his home in Maine with the intent to commit murder on three uniformed NYPD officers
The teen was there to carry out a jihadist attack but his plan got thwarted once he was shot by one of the officers
Bickford pleaded guilty to three counts of attempted murder of government officials and three counts of assault on government officials on Thursday, faces 120 years in prison
Bickford was also charged separately by the Manhattan DA's office in state court with attempted murder and terrorism-related crimes over the attack. The case is ongoing, a report said.
The former honor roll student, who played football, marched with the color guard and won awards for his artwork, knifed two cops with an 18-inch kukri knife near West 52nd Street and Eighth Avenue on December 31, 2022.
But, his plan was thwarted when one of the officer's shot the teen in his shoulder wounding him.
Then-NYPD Chief Thomas Galati said the machete was bought several years before the attack. Galati noted if Bickford's weapon had been new it could have possibly killed the officer he struck.
'He knew what he was doing. He knew why he was doing it,' he said. 'He probably thought he would probably die as a result of carrying out this attack.'
He added that Bickford yelled out, 'Allah Akbar' during the attack.
It is believed Bickford became a radicalized Muslim after his father died of an overdose in 2018.
Photos posted to Facebook show Bickford at different times of his life, many with his two brothers Devin and Travis.
Bickford did not have criminal record before the attack, according to a preliminary investigation, but police sources say the Bureau in Boston has an open case on him.
Authorities have told NBC they were looking into whether the suspect had previously posted what they called jihadist writings online and then traveled to New York City to target police.
[GEO.TV] Jamaat Ulema-e-Islam ...a Pak religious party. It is usually part of the govt, never part of the solution... - Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman is tight-lipped on his one-on-one meeting with Taliban ...Arabic for students... supreme leader Maulvi Sheikh Haibatullah Akhunzada and has not even updated the other members of his delegation what the two discussed, reported The News on Friday.
According to the publication, the Maulana Fazl-led delegation is likely to conclude the visit and return to Pakistain today (Friday).
However, the way to a man's heart remains through his stomach... it reported that there were rumours in Afghanistan that Akhunzada refused to meet the whole delegation and it was only Fazl who was taken to Kandahar, where the Taliban supremo is based, for the meeting.
"He told us that he had held a detailed and fruitful meeting with Sheikh Haibatullah Akhunzada and discussed multiple issues but Maulana sahib avoided sharing details of the discussion with the Taliban supreme leader," a member of the delegation, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, told The News.
He also confirmed that none of the delegation members accompanied the JUI-F chief to the meeting.
"Maulana sahib (Fazlur Rahman) was taken alone to Kandahar for the meeting. Well, all of us had a great desire for this important meeting with Sheikh Haibatullah, but we had to obey what our elders wanted us to do," said another member of the delegation. He added they realised from Fazl’s reaction that the meeting was fruitful.
"Maulana sahib is otherwise quite an easy person and never hides things. But since this is a very sensitive subject, therefore, he didn’t share anything with members of his delegation," a close aide of the JUI-F chief told The News.
Senior members of the Afghan Taliban have confirmed Fazl’s meeting with Akhunzada but Taliban front man Zabihullah Mujahid neither confirmed nor denied their meeting.
When asked if the delegation held talks with the Pak Taliban, the sources said that they held individual meetings with some of them but so far they are yet to hold any official meeting.
"Since some members of the Afghan and Pak Taliban have studied in madaris in Pakistain where some members of the delegation were their teachers, therefore, they came to visit their teachers whom they met after a long time. However, the way to a man's heart remains through his stomach... there has been no official meeting with them but before leaving for Pakistain, Maulana Fazlur Rahman and his colleagues are expected to meet with some representatives of the Pak Taliban," he explained.

[IsraelTimes] Organizers say they will seek permission for an even bigger demonstration next week, after cops reverse approval for Thursday’s rally, citing threat of violence.
"We were supposed to have, tonight, a big rally and demonstrations in Tel Aviv under the slogan that only peace can bring security, and calling out for Israeli-Paleostinian peace," said Rula Daood, national co-director of Standing Together, one of the rally’s lead organizers, along with Women Wage Peace and 20 other groups.
An antiwar demonstration in Haifa is planned for Saturday, though police have also denied a permit for that gathering. The absence of large protests now is a stark contrast to the period before October 7, when massive protests against the government’s proposed overhaul dominated Israeli discourse and frequently filled major intersections.
Polls show that the vast majority of Jewish Israelis support Israel’s war effort against Hamas in Gaza, while Arab Israeli opinion is mixed.

The IDF says information recovered by troops in Gaza, along with the hundreds of underground passages that have been investigated so far, indicate that Hamas invested tens of millions of dollars in its tunnels project.

[IsraelTimes] Sources close to leadership of terror group’s armed wing describe planning and execution of devastating onslaught; training briefly frozen after 2014 war, okay given in 2021
The October 7 onslaught began with 70 holy warriors who carried out a surprise assault at several points along the border of the Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. Strip, according to sources close to the leadership of Hamas ...a regional Iranian catspaw,... ’s Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades military wing.
The sources told the Asharq al-Awsat newspaper in a report published Wednesday that the holy warriors involved in the devastating attack were selected from among hundreds of elite commandos from all over Gaza, and underwent training for a number of years, along with continuous testing to gauge their skills.
Some 1,200 people were slaughtered and around 240 others dragged to Gaza as hostages — mainly civilians — when thousands of Hamas-led holy warriors burst into Israel on October 7, rampaging through communities and army bases in the south.
The London-based newspaper said that plans for the devastating assault on Israeli towns close to the Gaza border began years earlier — prior to Operation Protective Edge in 2014 — but major efforts to train and prepare were frozen with the outbreak of fighting and stayed on hold for a year at that point.
After another military conflict, Operation Guardian of the Walls, in May 2021, Hamas decided to implement the plan.
The Saudi-owned newspaper said that the terror group was so determined to keep details of the plan under wraps to prevent potential leaks to Israeli intelligence that even many of the battalion commanders weren’t told what was happening. The holy warriors recruited for the operation were not told what they were training for, and were made to swear an oath of secrecy.
The report said that the final decision launching the assault was made by just five senior members of Hamas — Gaza military leader Yahya Sinwar, armed-wing commander Muhammad Deif, Muhammed Sinwar (brother of the Hamas leader), senior member of Hamas politburo and Sinwar confidant Rawhi Mushtaha, and Ayman Nofal, a member of the terror group’s General Military Council and the head of its military wing’s Central Gaza Brigade, who was killed in an Israeli strike in Gaza in October.
Ayman Siam, the head of Hamas’s rocket firing array — also killed in an Israeli strike in October — was told to prepare to launch hundreds of rockets to coincide with the start of the assault.
Sources told Asharq al-Awsat that those responsible for the preparations told the lower-level commanders three days before the assault that the "equipment" had been put in place for the start of the attack, without telling them when it was to be launched. Meetings were then held with commanders of the regional brigades, and tasks were assigned without telling them when and where exactly the plan was to be implemented.
On October 6, the five top leaders decided that the onslaught was to take place the next day.
The decision was made due to a combination of factors, including the fact that the border area was relatively quiet, and it was the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah.
The report said that it was only at this stage that many Hamas leaders inside and outside Gaza were briefed on the upcoming operation, and told to go into hiding in line with the terror group’s usual security procedures during times of conflict.
The sources said that while top Hamas holy warriors politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh ...became Prime Minister of Gaza after the legislative elections of 2006 which Hamas won. President Mahmoud Abbas dismissed Haniyeh from office on 14 June 2007 at the height of the Fatah-Hamas festivities, but Haniyeh did not acknowledge the decree and continues as the PM of Gazoo while Abbas maintains a separate PM in the West Bank... and his deputy, Saleh al-Arouri (killed in an alleged Israeli strike in Beirut earlier this month), had known about the existence of a plan for an "exceptional attack," they were not given precise details or the timing.
The report said the two were only informed a few hours in advance that the assault was to take place, at the same time the other Hamas officials were informed.
Sources told the newspaper that at midnight on October 6/7, the field commanders received instructions to begin preparations and to move button men into position for the onslaught to be launched at dawn.
The holy warriors detonated bombs that were specially prepared to blow up openings in the border fence at previously identified weak points. At the same time, other holy warriors crossed the border using hang gliders, and still others launched a naval assault.
The terror group’s initial plan had been to carry out a "major qualitative attack" in which a number of Israel Defense Forces soldiers would be taken captive, the newspaper reported.
However, alcohol has never solved anybody's problems. But then, neither has milk... the sources said that Hamas was surprised by the ease with which it toppled the Israeli military’s defenses in the area surrounding the border, meaning that it was able to quickly kill, wound and kidnap a large number of soldiers.
An hour and a half after the start of the assault, Hamas decided to send further elite forces across the border to give support to the holy warriors already inside the border towns.
After that, the coordinator of the armed wings of the al-Qassam Brigade notified further groups that they could join the operation, assigning specific tasks to each faction.
Hamas commanders ordered the holy warriors to keep the Israeli forces engaged as much as possible to allow the kidnapping of more hostages to Gaza.
Over half of the hostages still remain in captivity in the Strip.
The Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza says over 23,000 people have been killed in the war sparked by the onslaught, though these figures cannot be independently verified, and are believed to include both civilians and Hamas members killed in Gaza, including as a consequence of terror groups’ own rocket misfires. The IDF says it has killed over 8,500 operatives in Gaza, in addition to some 1,000 holy warriors inside Israel on October 7, and that it seeks to minimize civilian casualties.
