If the Judea-Christian God or Allah is a high priority in your life, your realization that Dem politics aren’t compatible with your belief system should have happened long ago. If you worship Baal, Moloch, Gaia or Satan, the DNC has your back.

Here’s the link, Old Salty — I downloaded the Kindle sample for future reference, with thanks. All the latest info, given it was only published in April. :-)
[SteynOnline] For the first time in a long time, I kind of had writer's block when thinking about how to start this week's column, and I think that is because I'm on emotional and sensory overload. I've seen too many disturbing images, watched too many unbearable interviews with bereaved families or families of hostages, and watched one too many antisemitic, pro-Hamas/Kill the Jews processions in allegedly civilized cities throughout the Western world.
I'm trying to take everything one step at a time – one day at a time – and put as many bits of light as I personally can into the darkness of our time. I know there are a lot of other people out there who are struggling and only just barely coping with what they see on our streets and in the hallowed halls of elite universities, among other places.
I'm still trying to process a lot of emotions and questions that I have about what happened in Israel. There's a great many things that I don't understand and simply cannot believe. And at the same time, I'm trying to somewhat limit my exposure to the news in order to keep myself sane and grounded in this world.

In fact, many pop MMA stars are representatives of the subculture of abu bandits: this is an explosive cocktail of ideas of radical Wahhabi Islam, AUE concepts and Russophobia.
[REGNUM] The phenomenon of Russian pop MMA from the field of entertainment began to move into the sphere of politics, which is becoming a serious problem for our society and state. There is nothing wrong with MMA itself - it is a normal men’s sport, combining elements of wrestling and striking techniques, which allows representatives of various martial arts to find out whether “ chyokung is more powerful . ” The term MMA, in fact, stands for mixed martial art - mixed martial arts (martial arts).

[REGNUM] The desire of the Secretary of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Alexey Danilov to ban the Telegram messenger is quite natural for the political traditions of a free, democratic country that professes European values.
At first there was a long story about persecution and the subsequent closure of television channels, which were not exactly opposition or pro-Russian, but simply allowed themselves to give different points of view. All minimal opposition parties were treated in exactly the same way. They started with the communists under the pretext of fighting the terrible past, and ended with direct repressions with the destruction, in principle, of any dissent. As it happened, for example, with the harmless Kiev intellectual Dmitry Dzhangirov, who was simply taken from his home to an unpleasant place, where access to all his resources on the Internet was taken away, immediately starting there patriotic broadcasting of the most obscene kind.
The same thing was done with a single telethon, to which all the remaining channels, already broadcasting pretentious nonsense, were connected without further ado. But in order to exclude the very possibility of deviation from the given course, it was better to keep a tight grip on the airwaves: everyone knew that TV was the main source of information for the residents of Ukraine. Whoever owns the telecom rules the world. All the shock workers of decommunization came from Pioneer-Komsomol childhood and were simply unable to come up with anything else.
Therefore, it is completely logical that the monopoly on television led to a well-known result: the population began to increasingly listen to “enemy voices.”
A recent USAID-Internews poll found that the telethon has lost nearly half its audience in 2023, and the number of people tuning in daily has dropped threefold from last year. Only 11% named it as the main way to learn about what is happening in the world, and the total audience of regular viewers is 28% of the total number of respondents.
At the same time, telegram, which Danilov proposes to ban, is the main source of information for Ukrainians. According to a KIIS survey, 63% use it, and 41% consider it the main source of information. In second place is YouTube - 40% use it, 8% consider it the number one source. And against the backdrop of this failure, some hotheads in the president’s office have almost decided to do the unthinkable: to again allow Ukrainian TV channels to produce unique content.
Which, however, will look very funny against the backdrop of total censorship and an extremely limited number of “talking heads.” All TV presenters have learned the reliable trick “you need to include Gordon, he’s well watched,” which means that Dmitry can simply break into a dozen little Gordons. And the effect of watching ten telethons instead of one will be approximately the same.
Now about the ideological component through the prism of global politics.
How is TG harmful for the Ukrainian authorities? As the Secretary of the Security Council, who does not use it, wisely noted, “Telegram is a system of influence where people start promoting certain things for money. It's not about journalism, it's about influence."
We are talking about a tool that works primarily in “our” space; in the six largest CIS countries there are more than 4.5 billion subscribers (one person can be subscribed to many channels). The most popular topics on Telegram are news (82%), followed by entertainment and politics (59%). Here we have a successful combination of audiovisual content and texts, including long and smart ones. At the same time, neither the States nor Europe use the messenger to promote their agenda: the Ukrainian narrative is simply drowning in this sea.
His more familiar space is extremist Facebook, where all alternative opinions are thoroughly banned and any attempt to oppose official propaganda is rooted out with fire and sword. A case in point: when creating a fake Telegram channel for the leader of one of the banned Ukrainian parties, 170 thousand people subscribed to it in one day. On FB, his profile is blocked for users from Ukraine - it is visible only through a VPN.
Meanwhile, on the eve of a difficult winter, the “peremogi” project began to quickly flow into “zrada”. The wheel of the conspiracy is completing another turn, as indicated by many events - from Zaluzhny’s article to Arestovich’s public bucking.
The Ukrainian regime is on the verge of difficult decisions.
But to admit that everything has failed and the great cause of destroying Russia looks somehow completely hopeless, tantamount to suicide. The same Zelensky (as, obviously, Danilov) understands that if the decision to surrender is made in Kyiv on their own, they will simply be demolished. The patriotic core with a completely leaking roof has not gone away; it has enough determination and weapons to insist on a war “to the bitter end.”
It’s another matter when the signal about the threat comes from outside. Here we can refer to the fact that the strategic partners, whom we defended without sparing our lives, betrayed and drained the heroic Ukrainian people. They write nasty articles in Time magazine. Capitalism with a bestial grin demands a business plan for war, and with a calculated investment for every million dollars allocated. They don’t provide air defense, nor do they provide aircraft. We are trying our best, wild hordes from the east are pouring into the Ukrainian black soil by the thousands, but you understand that our own strength is not enough. Others are to blame for our hopeless situation.
Now imagine how this can be effectively distributed to the audience through television that no one watches? In telegram, such a trick simply will not work; there the signal is broadcast in a completely different way: no matter how much you give, you will lose everything in vain; corrupt officials steal aid; Western weapons were sold to the Palestinians; no one wants to fight; boys die, and families are not paid; Russian-speaking and Orthodox Christians have been humiliated and continue to be humiliated, so why fight? the elves are more to blame than the orcs and so on. “If there were no Maidan, there would be no war.”
They have long openly laughed at any reports from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense about repelled attacks and downed “mopeds.” A very bad laugh. A vivid report of the destruction of a pickup truck “from Vorogama” by an FPV drone suddenly spreads across an audience of millions with the shock of the fact that prisoners of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were actually sitting in the back. And it’s no longer possible to shut anyone up here. And reading longreads about the prospects of Ukraine in a global context is much more interesting than looking at its globe on a blue screen. Even the stupidest people deeply understand that the Universe does not revolve around their desires.
The information background in the cart is, without any jokes, a threat to the national security of Ukraine, for which the former Russian-speaking Luhansk resident Danilov is responsible. After all, the current ugly form of the state was largely created due to the fact that from unsuccessful attempts to compete with intelligence and creativity, determined people moved on to the destruction of what prevented them from gaining full power in the country. There is no need to create anything more interesting and better; it’s easier to kick them into the “side of the world” and chain them to the battery there.
They would like to use the same logic to frame the new case “the whole world is no longer with us.” Although this is unlikely to happen. Now we will be able to observe a new, unique Ukrainian experience.
If previously the country was led from the outside, and someone resisted inside it, now any political alternatives will also come from outside. External presidential candidates, external Ukrainian parties and public organizations, external citizens who are asked to somehow vote in elections that are appointed by external forces. External media that convey information about what is actually happening in the country and around it. Even the basis of all budgets is human transfers from abroad and foreign loans with donations.
“External Ukraine” is already larger than internal Ukraine, and if the borders are opened, it will spread throughout the world like the Jews after the Jewish War and the destruction of the Temple. Time will pass, and there will be no such force that could bring everyone together again “on our own, God-given land.” Neither external nor internal.
And all that Danilov can now do, based on the results of the enormous work that led to such a wonderful result, is not to read the damned Telegram, which reminds him of this.

[Ynet] The war against Hamas it appears is being conducted on two separate levels. One pits the IDF against its Arab/Muslim enemies. There the sides "understand" each other quite well. The second is the Israel-U.S. level in which the latter either by design or default speaks as if Washington is on another planet.
For instance, on the first level, Iran’s Tasnim news agency on October 10, quoted the Islamic Republic’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as telling an audience of Iranian military cadets that "From the military and intelligence aspects, this defeat [of October 7,] is irreparable. It is a devastating earthquake."
Some days later, in an apparent response, Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant commented on the beginning of the "next phase" in the IDF’s operation against Hamas, which began the night of October 27, by saying "Last night the earth in Gaza shook."
However on the Israel-U.S. level the miscommunication is apparent. The gap is most noticeable with regard to repeated calls by Washington (and other Western capitals) for Israel to abide by the laws of warfare in the pursuit of its military response to Hamas’s massacre.
That’s because it is not a mere miscommunication. This is just a different aspect of the Biden administration’s slightly covert war against Israel, now that the anti-judicial overhaul protests they funded have been given up for the duration.
It could be argued that Washington’s position is meant to provide President Joe Biden political cover given the upcoming U.S. elections and his need to placate the "progressive" wing of his Democratic Party to keep it unified.
It could be. But actually it’s cover for the fact that the Biden administration is completely aligned with his party’s Progressive wing, needing political cover to placate the his Israel-supporting more-center left.
However, the almost daily pronouncements by Biden himself as well as U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin's missives to his Israeli counterpart Yoav Gallant on the need for the IDF to follow the rules of war suggest otherwise. And since the "laws of war" in question have been invented by the same people who invented multiple (> 2) human genders, and their sole purpose to give advantage to the side willing to use its civilians as human shields...
In contrast, Israel’s political and military leadership has repeatedly conveyed its assessment of the country’s dire strategic situation and the stark choices it is now facing.
...In an address to the nation on October 25, Netanyahu said "Israel is in the midst of a fight for our existence," declaring that the goal was "saving the nation."
Three days later, at a press conference with Gallant and former defense minister and IDF chief Benny Gantz (who was newly installed as minister without portfolio in Netanyahu’s war Cabinet), the concerted message was that the war against Hamas is one of historical and existential significance for the country and therefore Israel must win it.
...In its most extreme form, this last-resort "doctrine" has sometimes been labeled the "Homeowner Gone Berserk" response. Moreover, Israel is keenly aware that the war against Hamas must communicate clearly to Iran and its regional proxies, first and foremost the Hezbollah terrorist army in Lebanon, what awaits them if they dare attack. The enormous destruction inflicted on Gaza is therefore a tangible and graphic warning to Israel’s other enemies.
It is not as if Washington is completely oblivious to Hamas’s malevolent practices. For example, in an address to the Washington Foreign Press Center on October 23, National Security Council’s Coordinator for Strategic Communications Rear Admiral (ret.) John Kirby said, "Hamas...because they’re nothing but a terrorist group — they’re certainly not a responsible governing power — they could care less about the laws of war and they could care less about the people of Gaza, using them as human shields, tunneling under their homes, headquartering themselves in hospitals and schools, encouraging them to stay home right there in northern Gaza and putting them literally in harm’s way because they don’t care. That’s the big difference between Israel and the United States, and groups like Hamas. So there’s a big difference in approach here."
They know. They approve.
Yet Washington’s reiteration of the need to fight by the rules of war not only denotes the disconnect between the two allies as to the kind of military actions needed to remove the Jihadists’ threat. The U.S. position is militarily nonsensical. Even worse it fails to address the counterproductive nature of fighting by the rules vis-a-vis a jihadist army like Hamas as this style of combat in essence reaffirms the jihadist strategy.
Indeed, the West’s rules of warfare are nothing but a force multiplier for jihadists like Hamas. They boost this murderous army’s ability to press on with its deadly strategy and aid its efforts to escape the promised obliteration by Israel.
...In essence, the jihadist strategy envisions carrying out monstrous attacks deliberately designed to shock and chip away at any vestige of (the U.S.-engineered) world order and then hide under the umbrella of "world opinion"—i.e. their Arab brethren and the usual cabal of Russia, China and the "progressive" West European left supported by the Muslim "fifth column" residing across Europe and the U.S.—accusing Israel of committing "genocide" so as to limit and undercut its expected military response to their terrorist outrages. You can't carbon date stone, only organic material you find at the same site, which may or may not have been there since it was first built. So it is at least 10,000 years old.
#2
Carbon Dating is a sensitive issue. I am certain great care was taken to assure results were as accurate as possible."Natawidjaja's team took pains to select the right organic soil samples from their drill cores and trench walls, samples that were not tainted by fresh roots from modern vegetation." Pier review before publishing most desired analysis. Problem then possibly years delay. Same problem dealing with hidden chamber within the great pyramid in Egypt. Zahi Abass Hawass a persistent thorn in ones backside. When you offer information that contradicts his pronouncements.

Was that before or after the Great Flood? We know there were people on this planet before the flood but details about what those people were doing are very, very sketchy.

Of course, ancient astronaut theorists would theorize that all those massive stone columns could not have been moved into those positions without the help of extraterrestrials. But those theorists weren't there at the time and nobody really knows what kind of technology those ancient civilizations were able to develop on their own.

Abu (#4) you are correct, if the making of the mound pyramid in Gunung Padang occurred before the flood of Noah (2370 bce), man certainly had the time to migrate from the area of Eden or "Land of Nod" in the 1,656 years from Adam to the Deluge. Since Adam was endowed with his God given language (most likely Hebrew) and could read and write; thoughts were passed down orally and in script whether written upon skins or carved in wood or stone. It would be extremely helpful should any art or writings or carvings are found in the excavation of the area. If it was built after The Flood, it would have had to been started after the dispersal of civilization from Babel in the days of Peleg no earlier than (100 years after the Flood) by the descendants of Shem that migrated into eastern Asia, with their definite change in language.
