Authorities have taken into custody the 66-year-old man considered a "person of interest" after he allegedly tried to drive his vehicle into a nuclear facility, following a nearly 24-hour manhunt.
Doyle Wayne Whisenhunt of Lockesburg, Arkansas, was located inside a vacant property in Oconee, South Carolina, Friday, according to the Pickens County Sheriff's Office, WYFF-TV reported.
He was taken into custody without incident.
Whisenhunt is suspected of crashing his silver 2002 Toyota Camry through a gate at the Oconee Nuclear Station in Walhalla, South Carolina, Thursday evening, according to a news release.
He was identified as a "person of interest" by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office at a news conference Friday, according to the outlet.
During the incident, security activated the plant’s pop-up barricade, prompting Whisenhunt to allegedly attempt to strike officers with his car before driving through an alternate fence, police said.
Authorities suspect he tried to hit another security officer with his vehicle before exiting the plant and driving to a private property in Pickens County, where the property owner allegedly fired off warning shots to scare Whisenhunt away, WYFF-TV reported, citing the sheriff's office.
Whisenhunt’s abandoned vehicle was recovered in the woods Friday afternoon, police said.
He is wanted on drug and weapons charges in Arkansas and remains at large, according to authorities. Not anymore
Sheriff Mike Crenshaw told WYFF-TV there is no evidence the incident is domestic terrorism.

[FOX] A former Pennsylvania nurse, arrested in May for the murder of two patients, has confessed to trying to kill more than a dozen other people, according to authorities.
Heather Pressdee, 41, of Natrona Heights, allegedly admitted to trying to end the lives of 19 additional patients with toxic doses of insulin at five different nursing homes, according to a complaint.
"Pressdee is accused of administering excessive amounts of insulin to these patients, some of whom were diabetic and required insulin, some of whom were not. In total, 17 patients died who had been cared for by Pressdee," according to a press release from the Pennsylvania Attorney General.
She is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, 17 counts of attempted murder and 19 counts of neglect of a care-dependent person over a five-year period. Her alleged victims range in age from 43 to 104.

A prominent white supremacist has been sentenced to 30 days in jail in Florida for distributing antisemitic flyers — though the content of the material did not factor into his penalty.
Jon Minadeo II, the founder of the Goyim Defense League, was found guilty of littering in a jury trial Wednesday in Palm Beach County. Minadeo was arrested in March while distributing antisemitic literature out of the back of a U-Haul truck.
Distributing antisemitic flyers is a core activity of the Goyim Defense League, which Minadeo founded in Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, in 2018. ...There's another article out there that points out that when Washington state passed its rich peoples' tax, they were expecting $3B and change - and Bezos would have been coughing up between twenty and forty-five percent of that.
I don't really have any hope that the politicians have enough self-awareness to admit what happened, but it will be fun to watch them twist in the wind.

And gradually the center of operations will also move south? One only needs to look at Boeing; only manufacturing, or more accurately, assembling remains; all other executive functions are gone as well as selling off of real estate. Their footprint in WA state has shrunk quite a bit, and I suspect that as soon as the Navy P-8 build is complete, all 737 production will shift to Everett and the Renton waterfront property also sold.

[Western Journal] A new survey may explain why so few people are lining up to get a COVID vaccine this year.
The Rasmussen poll found that 24 percent of respondents said they knew someone who had died from side effects of the shot — and 42 percent expressed an eagerness to join a hypothetical class-action lawsuit against the vaccine makers.
Sixty-nine percent said they "don’t know anyone who died from being vaccinated against the virus," according to Rasmussen’s Thursday report on the poll.
The survey was conducted among 1,110 American adults between Oct. 26 and 30. It had a margin of error of +/- 3 percentage points.
"Killer Jab?" Rasmussen asked in the title of its report.
The survey asked three questions:
"Do you know someone personally who died from the COVID-19 virus?"
"Do you know someone personally who died from side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine?" and
"If there was a major class-action lawsuit against pharmaceutical companies for vaccine side effects, how likely would you be to join the lawsuit?"
Forty-seven percent said they knew someone who had died of COVID.

* to pave the way for a VAX designed to adjust birth rates, trim certain demographics, and adjust DNA and or IQ.
* then there were those comments using a collection of several items listed above.
Summary: The general anger expressed in the comments.
IF the general population ever learns the Pandemic was in fact a deliberate, planned release. Those involved will need to leave earth.

NN2N1, it wasn't a bioweapons attack - since acquired immunity to coronoviruses is short term. And nobody would produce a bioweapon against which they cannot immunize their own population.
What is was was something worse: over the years I've noticed that (some) Chinese scientists combine high degree of technical competence with an absolute tunnel vision. The idiots played with a stupid (but academically rewarding) theory without giving a moment's thought to consequences.
