The rehabilitation of the Nazis continues as Politico gives National Socialism its finest makeover since "Springtime for Hitler"
Start with the title: "Fighting against the USSR didn’t necessarily make you a Nazi." The Politico Europe editor approving it was either high on glue, or finally decided yesterday to come to work in his secret Schutzstaffel uniform. No other explanation fits.

Canada’s Hunka scandal is a demonstration of how when history is complicated, it can be a gift to propagandists who exploit the appeal of simplicity.
They're trying as hard as they can to cover for Trudeau, that WEF puppet.
In the case of Hunka, the mass outrage stems from his enlistment with one of the foreign legions of the Waffen-SS, fighting Soviet forces on Germany’s eastern front. And it’s a demonstration of how when history is complicated, it can be a gift to propagandists who exploit the appeal of simplicity.

This history is complicated because fighting against the USSR at the time didn’t necessarily make you a Nazi, just someone who had an excruciating choice over which of these two terror regimes to resist. However, the idea that foreign volunteers and conscripts were being allocated to the Waffen-SS rather than the Wehrmacht on administrative rather than ideological grounds is a hard sell for audiences conditioned to believe the SS’s primary task was genocide. And simple narratives like "everybody in the SS was guilty of war crimes" are more pervasive because they’re much simpler to grasp.
The SS was a criminal organization. Just look at this journalist trying to cover for these mass murderers. Reprisals against civilians. Guarding the death camps. Executing Allied POWs.
Canada’s enemies have thus latched on to these simple narratives, alongside concerned citizens in Canada itself, with the misstep over Hunka being used by Russia and its backers to attack Ukraine, Canada and each country’s association with the other.
There's the money shot right there. This is being used against us, ergo it's Russian disinformation.
According to Russia’s ambassador in Canada, Hunka’s unit "committed multiple war crimes, including mass murder, against the Russian people, ethnic Russians. This is a proven fact." But whenever a Russian official calls something a "proven fact," it should set off alarms. And sure enough, here too the facts were invented out of thin air. Repeated exhaustive investigations — including by not only the Nuremberg trials but also the British, Canadian and even Soviet authorities — led to the conclusion that no war crimes or atrocities had been committed by this particular unit.
This is just huge. It is an earth-shaking epoch change. For the corporate media to go to bat for the Nazis is unprecedented. Until last month doing this got you banned from pretty much everywhere.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has now issued an apology in his own name over Hunka’s ovation too. However, any further discussion of the error has to be carefully phrased, as any suggestion that Canada is showing contrition for "honoring a Nazi" would acquiesce to the rewriting of history by Russia and its backers, and concede to allegations of Hunka’s guilt that have no basis in evidence.

It’s true that Hunka should never have been invited into Canada’s House of Commons. But that’s not because he himself might be guilty of any crime. Rightly or wrongly, on an issue so toxic, it was inevitable the invitation would provide a golden opportunity for Russian propaganda.
Look how hard they're trying to debunk this as propaganda. When it IS propaganda. Pro-Nazi propaganda!

We're through the looking glass here, people.

The technique of the Big Lie strikes again. It will succeed too - consider the "Palestinian Nation".

Up Justin's behind.
Do they think that we're blind?

"Kamerad!"
"Crazy schismatic!"

#3  Dachau is concentration camp outside of Munich. It was not a major extermination camp. The crematoriums are there. By the records more Roman Catholics died there than Jew, Bavaria being a Catholic region. On display are administrative documents all carrying the Waffen-SS letterheads.

#4  I think this is enough to end Justin’s PM tenure at the next election. The SS is not a brand that can be rehabilitated by freshening up the landscaping.

#6  ...well, there goes their old pejorative of call non-Marxist Nazis. We need a Forest Gump meme "and just like that Nazis were OK"

#7  Using Wikipedia numbers because I'm forgetful and lazy: Seems about a quarter of Dachau's inmates died. That's a bit better than Andersonville, and more or less in line with, say, Buchenwald or Sachsenhausen (both roughly as murderous, percentage-wise, under Soviet administration as under the Nazis).

#8  Once we gave Lucifer a sitcom, are we really that far from Politico claiming that Nazis had good ideas but went too far? The Gates Foundation is already working on their version of the Final Solution.

-Land of the Free
Supreme Court could soon quash Big Tech censorship
[NYP] Never before in US history have Americans been less free to see and say what they want.

The blame goes mostly to the social-media giants like Facebook, YouTube and Google that censor political views they don’t like.

But the tech giants’ day of reckoning is near.

Justice Clarence Thomas is taking them on.

Phone companies like AT&T and Sprint can’t shut down your account because of your political views.

American Airlines can’t refuse to sell you a ticket because you’ve questioned climate change or COVID lockdowns.

A hotel can’t deny you accommodations because you’re a Republican.

The law forbids it.

That same ban against political discrimination should apply to social-media platforms.

Thomas has argued against Big Tech censorship since at least 2021, saying these companies should have to serve all customers, just like phone companies, utilities and public accommodations.

The US Supreme Court announced Friday it will rule on Florida and Texas state laws that prohibit tech giants from canceling users based on their political views.

Expect Thomas to lead a majority of the justices to conclude that Internet censorship is inconsistent with democracy and must be stopped.

A high-court ruling against censorship will deal a powerful blow against Big Tech tyranny.

Not a day too soon.

Hallelujah.

They dont really hide it and more than often its a brag in being part of the In-Q-Tel family when reading LinkedIn or trade mags. Govt has a substantial investment in modern tech, investing in lots of tech incubators.

Trump trial: The camera never lies
[American Thinker] The judge presiding over the New York civil fraud case against President Donald Trump decided to invite the media cameras into the courtroom, but what became obvious is the camera never lies.

I don’t doubt for a moment that showing Trump at bay motivated Judge Arthur Engoron’s allowing of the media to show the beginning of the proceedings. Trump gave the cameras nothing: no anxious movements and no emotional reactions to feed the media pundits.

Instead, viewers saw the mad dog glare of New York Attorney General Letitia James focused on Trump like a laser.

Maybe her stare was genuine or maybe she was playing for the cameras? Maybe both?

Anyway. As the photogs made their way out, Engoron gladly removed his glasses and flashed a creepy smile for the cameras as if he landed the big one.

#1  This is the same judge who slapped a gag order on Trump because Trump said mean things about his clerk? Doesn't that violate Trump's First Amendment rights? And now we see how he enjoys his role in the persecution of a political opponent by presiding over a kangaroo court. What a prick.

Dem leader in crime-ridden Chicago attacks liberal policies saying criminals are 'emboldened' because no one's being held on bond anymore and people are 'hunted down like prey'
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A Democrat leader in crime-ridden Chicago has warned of the failures of progressive policies to change the tide on violent attacks in the city, amid soaring rates of murder and robbery.

Raymond Lopez, alderman of the 15th Ward in Chicago, told 'America Reports' on Tuesday that criminals are 'taking note' of lax attitudes towards violent crime, and innocent people are being 'hunted down like prey'

Lopez said crooks are now going so far as to brazenly 'threaten elected officials like myself' as state laws 'do not warrant you being held on bond anymore'.

As the House Judiciary Committee visited Chicago last week to examine crime in the city, Lopez deemed it 'unfortunate' that 'not one single Democrat chose to participate and make their voices heard or to hear from those most impacted.'

'They are often talked about for the progressive agenda, for the extreme liberal agenda that says they care. But their policies, particularly when it comes to police reform and criminal justice reform, in my opinion, are very racist because oftentimes the victims of the most heinous crimes by the repeat offenders are those same Black and Brown residents that the White liberals claim to care about but truly don't,' he said.

Reports of murders, theft, felonies and property crimes in Chicago in 2022 was 33 per cent higher than in 2019, before the pandemic. Incidence of major crime was also 61 per cent higher in March 2023 than it was 12 months prior, and 97 per cent higher than in 2021.
