[FoxNews] Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm engaged in multiple conversations with the Chinese government's top energy official days before the Biden administration announced it would tap the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) to combat high gas prices in 2021.
Granholm's previously-undisclosed talks with China National Energy Administration Chairman Zhang Jianhua — revealed in internal Energy Department calendars obtained by Americans for Public Trust (APT) and shared with Fox News Digital — reveal that the Biden administration likely discussed its plans to release oil from the SPR with China before its public announcement.
According to the calendars, Granholm spoke in one-on-one conversations with Jianhua, who is a longstanding senior member of the Chinese Communist Party, on Nov. 19, 2021, and two days later on Nov. 21, 2021. Then, on Nov. 23, 2021, the White House announced a release of 50 million barrels of oil from the SPR, the largest release of its kind in U.S. history at the time.
"Secretary Granholm's multiple closed-door meetings with a CCP-connected energy official raise serious questions about the level of Chinese influence on the Biden administration’s energy agenda," APT Executive Director Caitlin Sutherland told Fox News Digital.
"Instead of focusing on creating real energy independence for America, Granholm has been too busy parroting Chinese energy propaganda and insisting ‘we can all learn from what China is doing,’" Sutherland continued. "The public deserves to know the extent to which Chinese officials are attempting to infiltrate U.S. energy policy and security."

As was accentuated in the Tucker interview with Devon Archer the influence peddling in DC is rampant and inherent. Many politicians and staffers move in to lobbying after they leave government. Bureaucrats routinely swap between employment in government agencies and lobbying those same agencies.
The Biden stuff is different because we have cash flow through family members and through shell companies to the politician while Joe was in office for a specific and dramatic policy that had no other explanation than the Quid Pro Quo. By difference, I mean that cash payment is different than policy for a campaign donation or some other swap common to DC influence game. The Moscow Mayor payment is also blatant.
The other outrageous portion of Joe Biden’s sudden wealth is that he has absolutely no business ability. You could question how Mitch McConnell or Nancy Pelosi could be so good at business that they would be raking in cash, but any rational person can see that Joe Biden has no business skills whatsoever. Not only is he now a senile idiot, but he has never made, traded or invested in anything. It goes further, though, as Joe has repeatedly claimed both through his own statements and through the White House spokes people not to be in business with any family members. If that is the case, how does he explain the millions on his W2? If he is not in business with family, with whom is he in business?

[HotAir] Last week I wrote about the discovery of a secret China-linked biolab in an ostensibly empty warehouse outside Fresno California.
It was, needless to say, a disturbing story. We aren’t talking about some sterile, well-controlled biological research facility that hadn’t kept up with all its paperwork.
No, this was a hidden lab piled with chemicals, boxes, refrigerators with chemicals and 20 deadly viruses, and genetically engineered mice that had been bred to catch and spread human viruses like COVID-19. It was in an ostensibly abandoned warehouse, and when the inspectors showed up the lab equipment had been hastily turned off before whoever was working there disappeared.
The power was off, but the freezers were still cold. People disappeared quickly, leaving behind a lot of documents in Chinese and a "President" who is available only by email from China. The president claimed the lab was merely storing defunct equipment, but there were live genetically engineered mice and the viruses stored in freezers.
It’s all very sketchy, to say the least. Not to sound paranoid or anything, but a Chinese biolab hidden in an abandoned warehouse with deadly viruses and genetically engineered mice discovered after a major pandemic that killed millions might lead one to wonder what exactly is going on.

He added, "I would just point out that, in the other case, I thought the Justice Department sought venue in Florida, rather than D.C., and then it was moved to an even more favorable jurisdiction, Fort Pierce.
