BLUF:
[Republic Brief] According to Levin, the Presidential Records Act, which is the act under which Trump is supposedly being prosecuted, is not a criminal statute, nor was it ever intended to be one. Levin made this claim when he suggested that a misuse of the law might be at play in the case of Trump.
“What did he do with the documents? Did he sell them to the enemy? No! That’s why we have an Espionage Act, not the trick of a president. What did he do? Did he burn them all? No! The government has all the documents back.”

Espionage is acting as an agent of another entity against our interest. That is what the Clintons and Biden’s have done. Espionage is what was done against Trump by the Clinton campaign in coordination with foreign governments. I agree with Levin.

[Epoch Times] "Our great American comeback will begin when we send Joe Biden back to his basement in Delaware," DeSantis told the crowd. He promised to tighten immigration policy, implement E-Verify for legal employment, impose stricter penalties for fentanyl smuggling, and crack down on human trafficking.
But DeSantis said one of his priorities would be to tame inflation by stopping money printing and cutting back on government spending. "We are going to end Biden’s disastrous economic policies," he said.
DeSantis said Florida has banned the purchase of land by America’s enemies, banned Environmental Social Governance banking, and promoted sound fiscal policies. He said this has resulted in $2.7 billion in tax relief for Floridians even though the state has no income tax. He added that he would restart domestic energy production.
"We will put wokeism in the dustbin of history," DeSantis said. DeSantis is campaigning on the future.
He said pornography is prohibited in Florida’s public school libraries, and so-called "gender-affirming health care" for children is banned. He added that Florida allows school choice, has implemented pro-life laws, and has authorized the death penalty for pedophilia.
"We stand for protecting our children, and on those principles, we will never compromise. If we can do it in Florida, we can do it anywhere," he said The Establishment will come for you, as soon as your polling numbers improve.

Daily Mail Headline:
Awkward moment Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt asks crowd to cheer for Ron DeSantis during campaign rally... Video shows Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt asking a crowd to cheer for Ron DeSantis...
When no one responded, Governor Stitt prompted: "Let's get an 'Amen, brother'."
[PJ] The House Republican leadership has given a full-throated defense of Donald Trump following his 37-count indictment for violations of the Espionage Act, Speaker of the House Rep. Kevin McCarthy said.
"Today is indeed a dark day for the United States of America," House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) tweeted. "It is unconscionable for a President to indict the leading candidate opposing him. Joe Biden kept classified documents for decades. I, and every American who believes in the rule of law, stand with President Trump."
The number two Republican, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.), also gave a strong defense of Trump. "Let’s be clear about what’s happening: Joe Biden is weaponizing his Department of Justice against his own political rival. This sham indictment is the continuation of the endless political persecution of Donald Trump."
While the GOP House rushed to Trump’s side to defend him, there was only a deafening silence from the Senate Republican leadership.

The honourable senators know he will do his best to work with them if elected, as he did before. So there is no serious downside to their lack of support at this stage — and only a third of them are up for reelection in 2024. In the House, meanwhile, they all will face the voters next year, and many of them are recent arrivals who slid in on President Trump’s coattails. They know what their voters expect from them.

If you listen closely, you'll hear their heads collectively explode this and next week as the polls will show no jump in the public's excitement about the GOPe preferred candidate. The GOPe will not be able to comprehend how few, if any, have dropped their support for Trump. That's what they were hedging on.

Here's an idea: They go through the motions of this Trump indictment....Dem is "elected" president in 2024...Trump gets magically pardoned and can spend the money Pfizer gave him for his 2016 inauguration bash if there are a few shekels left over.

If I was able to bring my father back to life I'm certain he'd die of a heart attack if I told him this worthless corrupt to the core douchebag became president, just after he kicked me out of the house for accusing me of smoking too much pot for coming up with something so preposterous.

Appears confused. Appears like he doesn't even know where he is or what he's supposed to be doing there. He's gotten to the point where his handlers can't trust him to find his way back to his seat after speaking at the podium.

At the end of the clip the faces of the soldiers and their wives are a bit blurry but you can still see their expressions, you can tell the impression they're getting of their commander in chief is not good.

Clearly this is elder abuse and if his family was anything but a bunch of criminals they'd put a stop to it.

Over a long and tarnished career, Joe has earned the treatment he is getting.
It can't be abuse if it is deserved.

He's played out, a husk mere hours after a full morning juicing. The White House calendar, despite the amazing dishonesty and misdirection, shows him purportedly receiving the PDB at 10am most mornings, but public events and visitors are between 12 and 4, and really Tuesday-Thursday in the main. Virtually no business during the evenings, and bunkered in the Residence or Delaware/Camp David for long weekends.
He literally cannot function off script or note-cards and clearly has balance and spatial awareness difficulties. The facade won't sell much longer, even for the morons who watch the View!
Sure, it's Joe Biden now and it's tough to muster any sympathy. But ten or twenty years from now it could be any of us. Not cool.
Jill deserves hard time in an orange jump suit if for no other reason than to let people know it's not OK to subject elderly dementia patients to this type of abuse, even if it's Joe.
Apart from appearing confused, Joe looks like he's being pursued by little red devils with pitch forks. Let the Devil torment him in Hell if that's the final judgement. But, at this point, I'd settle for confinement and medication to keep him calm and comfortable instead of stimulants.

^ So you are saying we should stop leaving those little cans of deviled ham in the break room and scattered about the office?
I watched my Dad fade away so I have some sympathy for the guy. And quite a bit of scorn for the people using him.

I absolutely abhor elder abuse. That said (you knew that was coming), this piece of corrupt shit has been damaging other people and corruptly abusing his position. I only fear he will be too far gone to see the collapse of his Crime Family and jailing/stripping of ill-gotten funds. Dr. Jill can model furniture swatches

I am sure the “root canal” is a ruse to keep him away from reporters. We will see what tomorrow’s story will be. My impression is that they had no idea that Grassley’s speech was coming.

[NYPOST] President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. Sleazy Dem mschine politician, paterfamilias of the Biden Crime Family... ’s administration is receiving backlash online over its Pride Month display at the White House on Sunday as many Twitter users are saying it violates the US Flag Code.
Biden celebrated the LGBT community in a post Saturday, revealing a set of flags hanging from the White House that faced the South Lawn.
The display includes a rainbow-colored Pride flag flanked by two American flags.
Twitter users argue the display violates a section of the US Flag Code that mandates the American flag be in the center of any display featuring multiple national flags or pennants.
"To advance revolutionary transgender agenda targeting children, Biden violates basic tenet of US Flag Code and disrespects every American service member buried under its colors," wrote Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.
Fitton went on to cite US Flag Code §7. (e), which reads, "The flag of the United States of America should be at the center and at the highest point of the group when a number of flags of States or localities or pennants of societies are grouped and displayed from staffs."
