[American Greatness] Today, we celebrate Memorial Day. What does that mean? Unfortunately, for many citizens, it signifies just another three-day weekend, the beginning of the summer season, and an excuse for a weekend cook-out. Sadly, we have lost even the vestiges of the meaning of this holiday: a solemn time, serving both as catharsis for those who fought and survived, and to ensure that those who followed would not forget the sacrifice of those who died that the American republic might live.
Americans have forgotten how to honor their war heroes and to remember their war dead. As my friend and fellow Marine, "Bing" West observed several years ago in his remarkable book about Fallujah, No True Glory, stories of soldierly courage deserve "to be recorded and read by the next generation. Unsung, the noblest deed will die."
What we now call Memorial Day was established by General John A. Logan’s "General Order No. 11″ of the Grand Army of the Republic dated May 5, 1868. This order reads in part: "The 30th day of May 1868 is designated for the purpose of strewing with flowers and otherwise decorating the graves of comrades who died in defense of their country during the late rebellion, and whose bodies lie in almost every city, village and hamlet churchyard in the land." Logan’s order served to ratify a practice that was already widespread, both in the North and the South, in the years immediately following the Civil War.
Memorial Day should cause us to ask why Americans are willing to fight and die. In his book, The Warriors: Reflections on Men in Battle, Glen Gray provided one answer: "Numberless soldiers have died, more or less willingly, not for country or honor or religious faith or for any other abstract good, but because they realized that by fleeing their posts and rescuing themselves, they would expose their companions to greater danger. Such loyalty to the group is the essence of fighting morale."

I saw this for the first time this morning, had never heard of it referenced that way, superb and fitting for today! Angel Flight, images and lyrics are powerful my friends.
[WIRE] A pro-Trump rap group’s single, titled "Boycott Target," has exploded online, racking up nearly three million views and climbing to number #6 on the iTunes Charts.
Forgiato Blow, Jimmy Levy, Nick Nittoli, and Stoney Dudebro created the hit song, boasting lyrics about retail giant Target "targeting" your children with Satanic and sexualized goods.
"There’s a cleanup on every aisle/Target is targetin’ your kids," the song’s lyrics open. "This agenda’s gotta stop, they know we gonna win."
"Target, Target, yeah they targetin’/Target, Target, yeah they target kids," the song goes, continuing on to lyrics about the LGBT agenda going "too far.

I doubt China really wants the Yuan as a primary world currency. It would require allowing much more off shoring of the Yuan. Pretty shore China wants the spare cash of the common folk to be trapped into intra-chinese investments.

Yuan isn't spendable anywhere but China and a few despotic dictatorships like North Korea.

Paying people not to work while depending on energy intensive industry to pay the taxes ...then trading dependable fossil fuel and nuclear power plants for windmills. Nope, doesn't sound familiar at all. (/sarc)
[The Federalist] Bud Light enlists a trans ladyface minstrel to sell beer. Target hires a trans Satanist to design LGBT clothes for kids and starts selling "binding" and "tucking" swimwear. North Face launches a marketing campaign featuring a creepy drag performer hocking LGBT gear to children ages 2 to 7. The Los Angeles Dodgers gives an award to a demonic hate group whose sole purpose is to blaspheme and profane the Catholic faith.
All this, and June "pride month" hasn’t even begun.
What’s happening? Why did so many major corporate brands decide to go all-in on promoting an aggressive, radical LGBT agenda that just a few years ago would have been considered totally unacceptable in civil society? Is this a psy-op? Is it real? What happens next?
The short answer to these questions is that we’ve entered a new phase of the culture war, and in some ways have transcended "the culture war" completely. What we’re in now is better described as a religious war — one that’s been launched by corporate America against all of us, and therefore demands we all choose sides.
Choosing sides in a religious war means you have to choose your religion. And in this particular religious war, there are only two sides. On one side is what C.S. Lewis called the Tao, which was his ecumenical shorthand for objective moral truth. "The Tao, which others may call Natural Law or Traditional Morality or the First Principles of Practical Reason or the First Platitudes, is not one among a series of possible systems of value," Lewis wrote in The Abolition of Man. "It is the sole source of all value judgments. If it is rejected, all value is rejected. If any value is retained, it is retained."
In America and in the West generally, the side of the Tao is the side of faithful Christians and Jews, as well as those atheists who, for practical reasons, cling to Judeo-Christian morality as the survivors of a shipwreck might cling to a lifeboat. It is the side that sees Target’s transing of kids as an intolerable moral evil, affirms the givenness of our nature and the created order, and recognizes not only that man isn’t God, but that man’s destiny is communion with God in a redeemed creation.
On the other side is what the writer Paul Kingsnorth, among others, has called the Machine, which at its root is a Nietzschean rebellion against God that turns out also to be "a rebellion against everything: roots, culture, community, families, biology itself." Like the Tao, the religion of the Machine, of progress and technology and will to power, has a very long pedigree. It goes back to the Garden of Eden, where the serpent assured Eve, "You will not surely die," that if she ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, she would become like God.

Christian morality. Just call it Christian morality. All of the people who created these hateful ideologies, from Marx to the Frankfurt School to Marcuse, were Jews. Their aim is to "deconstruct" our culture. Deconstruct means destroy.

Given that Marxism practices thou shall covet thy neighbors' wealth, thou shall bear false witness to gain thy neighbors' wealth, and thou shall steal thy neighbors' wealth, it's hard to tag any true follower of Judeo-Christian religion with it. Social Jews and Christians who simply identify as such are not practicing the faith when they embrace Marxism.

Your parentage matters less than who you choose to serve. We elect presidents to serve the people. Some do; some don’t.

[The Hill] Jensen Huang, the co-founder, and CEO of Nvidia Corp, said that companies and individuals should learn about the new wave of artificial intelligence (AI) so they won’t be left behind.
Speaking at the National Taiwan University commencement ceremony, Huang told the graduating class that the new innovative technology will transform the corporate landscape and change every single job.
"Agile companies will take advantage of AI and boost their position. Companies less so will perish," Huang said during his commencement speech, according to Bloomberg News. "While some worry that AI may take their jobs, someone who’s expert with AI will."
Huang, who has been the head of Nvidia since 1993, said that AI technology will also be used as a co-pilot to increase the productivity and efficiency of workers in multiple industries and create new jobs that haven’t existed before and making some others obsolete, Bloomberg News reported.
Huang’s remarks come as other companies have introduced or announced their own AI-implement services this year.
