Nothing compared to the US (Albert Kahn et al) central role industrializing the Soviet Union. A byproduct was the Holodomir genocide as Stalin seized Ukrainian farmers' crops to pay for all the imported industrial equipment. Nearly the entire infrastructure and heavy industry of the USSR was a carbon copy of American plants.
