[Audacity] Panic and fear spread throughout the special operations community at Fort Bragg and Fayetteville, North Carolina as CID and FBI agents investigated members of 3rd Special Forces Group and Delta Force who allegedly were involved in drug and in one instance human trafficking, according to nearly a dozen current and former military sources.
The arrests began Thursday, Jan. 5 and culminated with a 100% recall and accountability formation for 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group yesterday.
Panic and fear spread throughout the special operations community at Fort Bragg and Fayetteville, North Carolina as CID and FBI agents investigated members of 3rd Special Forces Group and Delta Force who allegedly were involved in drug and in one instance human trafficking, according to nearly a dozen current and former military sources.
The arrests began Thursday, Jan. 5 and culminated with a 100% recall and accountability formation for 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group yesterday.
It is unknown when the investigation into drug and human trafficking in the Fort Bragg area began, but it is known that the FBI became involved in investigating the deaths of Timothy Dumas and Delta Force operator Billy Lavigne in 2020 when both were found shot to death at a training site on Bragg.
Last week's arrests began with investigators receiving more evidence after an undercover law enforcement officer posing as an underage girl helped arrest a member of 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group back in December. That individual was known to moonlight as a bouncer at a bar in Southern Pines frequented by the Special Forces community, a military source close to the situation explained to Connecting Vets. The Green Beret is alleged to have been pimping underaged girls to the Special Forces community at drug-fueled parties in Southern Pines.
"This is what happens when there is no war, no direction, and an 18-month red cycle with no mission," a Special Forces soldier said. "So dudes are fucking around with young kids and the craziest drugs. All these lives ruined because people are just bored." bored = drinking, not drugging and pimping
Whether the individual rolled on his accomplices or law enforcement ripped the data from his cell phone, it quickly led to the arrest of another Green Beret involved in drug trafficking in 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group.

If you seek employment during your 'off time', you have to file paperwork for approval. Was it filed? If so, why would that line of employment be approved?

Given it's the BIDEN's DOD / DOJ, I have to wonder if the goal is to tarnish the best of the best
The serious T_____, Q-Course, Anal deep BkGrd checks, S&T processes and the Psych Evals that back even in 1988-93, I don't see any possible SFOD-D multi-personnel type issue.
Hell, even the Pink Team that Clinton's DOD forced on Special Forces weeded out many before they walked the halls.
So given all that 30 years ago, there is always has and always wll be a loose nut that rears its head later on.

Certainly, soldiers, sailors and marines get into trouble when they are on liberty and especially when they are not deployed. I am not buying the line that we need to find a slaughter for Spec Ops to keep them from raping kids. This is what you would expect from UN personnel.

Loose nuts. This is a rational observation. It happens, but I’ve never seen it.
Panic grips…! Bullshit.
Like CID and FEEBS are saints? I shall say no more on that.

Abby Zwerner, 25, was shot by a six-year-old student in her Richneck Elementary School classroom on Friday
The single bullet went through her hand and chest, police confirmed today
Zwerner is now in stable condition and the child is in a medical facility
The gun was the child's mom's - purchased legally - and he brought it to school in his backpack
She was giving her first grade class instructions when the child pulled the gun out of his backpack and shot her.
Zwerner was reportedly attempting to confiscate the gun from the young child when he shot her.
The six-year-old 'combative' boy was physically detained by another school employee following the shooting - who he then hit, police confirmed.
Newport News Police Chief Steve Drew said on Monday afternoon that more facts have to be gathered before the department can determine if charges will be filed against the boy's mother.

Saw a couple of pics of the teacher - if she came at me, I'd shoot her, too.
Note: before the usual suspects who have no snark gene jump on me, I'm not supporting a kid who comes to class strapped nor his mother who apparently leaves her hardware laying around.
#7
I wonder if the kid had never been taught trigger discipline (HA!) and had his finger on the trigger when the teacher pulled it away? Didn't she see where it was pointed?

[Gateway] Ineitha Lynette Hardaway "Diamond" (left) passed away at her home on Monday evening. She was 51.
President Trump released a statement on Truth Social tonight on this sad news.
"Really bad news for Republicans and frankly, ALL Americans. Our beautiful Diamond, of Diamond and Silk, has just passed away at her home in the State she loved so much, North Carolina," President Trump wrote.
"Silk was with her all the way, and at her passing. There was no better TEAM anywhere, or at any time! Diamond’s death was totally unexpected, probably her big and precious HEART just plain gave out. Rest In Peace our Magnificent Diamond, you will be greatly missed!" he continued.
Will always remember, Lynette 'Diamond' Hardaway and her sister Rochelle Richardson, aka Silk, who fought the LSD's, BLoM, & their MSM propaganda machines attempts to cast Trump as Anti-Black and a Racist.
Fighting that Tidal Wave of Hate took guts, real guts.
[LegalInsurrection] Journalist Asra Q. Nomani has taken the lead in reporting the latest round of outrages perpetrated by Fairfax County public schools in Virginia. Virginia’s public schools are notorious for their woke racism and allegedly hiding instances of rape and sexual assault in their schools.
Nomani broke the story that top administrators at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJ) allegedly have been hiding academic achievements from students and their parents because ’equity.’
Nomani is now reporting that two more area school principals allegedly contacted parents via oddly identically-worded emails to inform them that their children had earned the national merit awards but had not been informed by the schools.
The abrupt change of heart appears to have been instigated by Virginia AG Jason Miyares’ announcement of an investigation into the controversy, including possible civil rights violations given that so many of the harmed students are Asian.
Nomani reports in the Fairfax Times (archive link):
While Fairfax County Public Schools Superintendent Michelle Reid claims the principal at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology withheld National Merit awards from students in a "one-time human error," parents at two local high schools got a Friday and Saturday night surprise.
The revelations are emerging after school district principals scrambled to a meeting Wednesday afternoon with the superintendent, after Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares announced a civil rights investigation into the controversy. Just like at TJHSST, the new revelations appear to impact many Asian American students — one focus of the investigation.
In an email, obtained by the Fairfax County Times, Langley High School Principal Kim Greer pressed send on a mea culpa at 9:29:30 p.m. on Friday night, confusing, agitating and angering parents and students already on edge during the tumultuous college admissions season.
Greer told parents that she was "delighted" to let them know that "your student was designated a Commended Student by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation." She then immediately followed up by saying, "I must apologize that certificates were not distributed to these Langley High School students in the usual way this past fall."
. . . . Tonight, another email shared with the Fairfax County Times went out to parents at 8:39 p.m. This time, Tony DiBari, the "Proud Principal" at Westfield High School in Chantilly, told parents that "it has come to light that Westfield High School students designated as Commended Students this past fall were also not notified by the school."
The identical language used by both principals suggests some form of collaboration in building a narrative to reassure outraged parents. Damage control, in other words, to address a decision that they cannot effectively defend on any grounds.
The principals at Langley and Westfield used nearly identical language that school staff "will be contacting colleges" where students had applied. The Langley principal added: "Our intention is to ensure college admissions departments know that your student was the recipient of this important award."
This, however, overlooks the fact that college admissions officers have already made life-changing decisions — including rejections — based on incomplete information from students, missing this important award. According to a survey of opportunities available, the National Merit Commended Student recognition opens the door to millions of dollars in college scholarships, including a four-year scholarship at Liberty University, and 800 Special Scholarships from corporate sponsors. The deadlines for many of those scholarships have already passed.
In carbon-copy language, both principals wrote, "We understand and value the hard work and dedication of each and every student, and the families and staff who support them. Please be assured that we remain resolutely committed to supporting every student in reaching their unique and fullest potential."
One of the most outrageous features here is the outlandishly overpaid DIE "expert" brought in to push destructive and racist ’anti-racist’ ideology in this district.
However, denial ain't just a river in Egypt... for parents in the school district these examples of merit withheld from students raises serious concerns, particularly amid news that the FCPS superintendent signed a contract of about nine months, paying a controversial contractor, Mutiu Fagbayi, and his company Performance Fact Inc., based in Oakland, Calif., $455,000 for "equity" training that includes a controversial "Equity-centered Strategic Plan" with this goal: "equal outcomes for every student, without exception."
"The equity imperative is to give each student what they need to meet equal outcomes. The goal is not equitable outcomes," Fagbayi said early last year, promoting an identical strategy at a meeting with officials in Princeton Public Schools. A video recording of the April 26, 2022, meeting is posted on YouTube.

equal outcomes for every student, without exception.
"From each according to their ability, to each according to their needs"
Based upon human nature, why work your butt off trying to improve your lot when the slackers get the same outcome. The result is the lowest common denominator in any circumstances.
My hearing is getting bad... but I don't hear the MSM or the Reverends shouting RACISM from every rooftop? "For years, two administrators at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJ) have been withholding notifications of National Merit awards from the school’s families, most of them Asian, thus denying students the right to use those awards to boost their college-admission prospects and earn scholarships."

The abrupt change of heart appears to have been instigated by Virginia AG Jason Miyares’ announcement of an investigation into the controversy, including possible civil rights violations given that so many of the harmed students are Asian.
That'll hurt given the commies have been getting away with classifying Asians as 'white' (because they're successful in the 'supposed' racist institutions of Western Civilization).

The merit award is something that the student has personally earned, not something given to denigrate the other students, nor taken from other students.
Gummint denying you what you have earned. Where have we heard that before? Taxation maybe?

Really stupid overreach. All those households cooking on electric stoves and heating with electric baseboard heat during the big storm that shut down the country over Christmas — if only they’d had gas for cooking and heating instead.
[Epoch Times] The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) will have public comment about gas stoves in the winter of 2023 and could set standards on emissions—even possibly banning them, CPSC head Richard Trumka Jr. told Bloomberg News. Natural gas stoves are estimated to be used in roughly 40 percent of all U.S. homes.
40%? This is not like that voluntary little Cash For Clunkers thing President Obama used to boost car sales — which distorted the used car market for years afterward.
"This is a hidden hazard," Trumka told the news service in an interview published on Jan. 9. "Any option is on the table. Products that can’t be made safe can be banned."
The CPSC already issued a request for information seeking data on the alleged hazards associated with gas stoves and input for solutions. Such a request, Trumka told reporters last month, "is the first step in what could be a long journey toward regulating gas stoves." Trumka, a Biden appointee, is a former congressional Democratic staffer and the son of Richard Trumka, the late former chief of one of the most powerful unions in the United States, the AFL-CIO.
However, the EPA and World Health Organization have said that natural gas stoves emit unsafe levels of air pollutants, such as nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, and other particles. Some studies show that natural gas appliances leak methane even when turned off, critics of the stoves have claimed.

OH! BTW:
As many in certain LSD's controlled states already know.
Modern power meters can be turned off remotely using the Smart Power Grid communication system whenever they want.
So why do we have a Smart Power Grid that allows Gov. to do control our comfort using Brown Outs?
Well Utility companies were encouraged to install smart-grid technology devices using funding from the U.S. government’s 2009 stimulus package. Just another Little Steps, Little Steps process taking 10+ years

Mad Eye and Beso have it right. We installed Propane in our log home because the person that does all the cooking, me, finds it much easier to control the heat. When you turn off an electric stove it stays hot and can easily burn what your cooking.

It may be time for those living in the countryside to look into digging a bio-gas (Gobar gas) set-up alongside or replacing your septic tank. Michael Yon recommended it as a low-tech solution for Afghanistan in 2010.

This is the shadow government we all talk about. If you dont believe this is going to happen, think again. Look at CA as the future. They installed a policy ten years ago outlawing ALL vehicles over ten years old. It was regulatory, meaning they will not register your car. Then they let it sit. Now its in place. If you own a diesel truck and its over ten years old, your out of business. Your car will not be allowed emission inspections, so you cant register it.
So now they are going to come after your gas stoves, 40% of America uses gas stoves. Was this voted on? Did our politicians that write the law vote? NOPE. This is regulatory, who is making this up? Its the fauchi's of the EPA, driving personal agenda's, probably based on bribes and payoffs, like Fauchi. We need to raise hell with this, find the individuals driving this and expose them.
Its a lot like the FDA and CDC. They shut our nation down for two years. Forced stores to close, small businesses went under. We were effectively under house arrest. Then when its being show that it did not work, the shot is more harm than good, they came out and said they are only advisory. Such bull. This is the rest of the govermnment that we need to get under control.

Ran, I may not be a real cook but I do cook and I spent extra for a gas stove and propane service (would still prefer line gas but not available) because I prefer the control it gives me (not to mention the semi-independence), though I will say modern high end electric cooktops are not as bad as electric used to be (and I still haven’t tried induction cooking.)
Gee, its like the whole plan is to get the masses on only electricity, choke it, and watch as people are not able to move without approval.
One theory I came across is to get people used to not having NG so to sell it to Europe at a premium because Russia gas is/will be shut off for good.
Don't know. That fits some connections but would be a reaction. This has the stink of coordination, which means a plan. And that marketing went straight to 'Do it for the children and their asthma' has a certain familiar wine mom audience ring to it.
[Hot Air] That was fast! One of the largest and most splendid Mardi Gras parades in New Orleans is the Krewe of Endymion. On Saturday, the krewe announced on social media that Mel Gibson would serve as co-Grand Marshal of this year’s parade. By Sunday afternoon, the announcement on social media had been deleted and a formal announcement was made that Gibson’s invitation had been withdrawn.
It seems there are still some very hard feelings against Gibson over some unfortunate statements he’s made in the past. It really wasn’t all that long ago, relatively speaking — it began in 2006. That year Gibson was stopped by police for speeding and driving while intoxicated. During the traffic stop, he went off on the police officer in an anti-Semitic rant. It was a very ugly incident, complete with a hideous mug shot, and the fall-out for Gibson came swiftly. Gibson apologized but other accusations of unseemly behavior have since surfaced. The rant to the police officer wasn’t a one-off incident. There were accusations of domestic violence against a girlfriend. And, when he starred in Fatman in 2020, people were angry that his career seemed to be getting back on track. His critics wanted him to be permanently canceled.
With anti-Semitism on the rise, it’s no real surprise that people complained that Gibson had been chosen as co-Grand Marshal. The other co-Grand Marshal is Tulane head football Coach Willie Fritz. Fritz is riding high after leading the Green Wave to an historically successful season. There are about 3200 riders in the krewe and 80 floats. Since 1974, the list of Grand Marshals has included entertainers such as Dolly Parton, Fats Domino, Steven Segal, and Britney Spears. In 2022 the krewe switched it up a bit and chose theological commentator Raymond Arroyo as Grand Marshal. He is the lead anchor of Eternal Word Television Network and a frequent Fox News commenter.
Endymion president Dan Kelly on Sunday said that besides criticism, threats have been made to the krewe since the announcement. So, for safety reasons, Gibson was, in fact, canceled.
Back before streaming, and after I got tired of waiting for my lent copy to be returned, I went shopping. I found A copy in the UK, and A copy in Japan. This was a part time but week long internet shopping trip, mind you.
Cancel Culture Doesn't Exist!

[ShabelleMedia] Puntland ...a region in northeastern Somalia, centered on Garowe in the Nugaal province. Its leaders declared the territory an autonomous state in 1998. Puntland and the equally autonomous Somaliland seem to have avoided the clan rivalries and warlordism that have typified the rest of Somalia, which puts both places high on the list for Islamic subversion... said on Monday that it will act as an independent state not part of the Federal Government of Somalia until the completion of the draft constitution.
In a three-page blurb, Puntland announced that its Constitution gives a full right to decide on its affairs without the consent of the Somali government in Mogadishu.
"Pending the completion of the Federal Constitution which Puntland has ratified, and then a referendum has been passed, Puntland will have the power of an independent government," the statement said.
This statement from Puntland shows that it has directly cut ties with Villa Somalia, which has recently had a political dispute with Deni, who contested against Hassan Sheikh in May 15 election.
Puntland’s move comes amid a critical time the Somali government is dealing with other high-profile issues, including the fight against al-Shabaab ...... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord... and the violence in Las Anod.
[ShabelleMedia] – The President of Puntland, Said Deni, has accused the federal government of Somalia of plots to return the country to a centralized government system.
"The reason that I refused to sign some of the points in the new agreement between the Federal government and the Federal States is that they are against the federal system in Somalia," said Deni.
Deni said that the government of Somalia needs to complete the review of the constitution without discussing the issue of the dispute over the Sool region and Sanaag regions.
Deni, who was speaking last night at a ceremony to celebrate his 4th anniversary, said that he will issue a statement clarifying Puntland stance on the agreement and other issues.
So far, there are no comments from the Federal Government and the regional states who attended the meeting of the National Consultative Council on Deni’s remarks.
However, a lie repeated often enough remains a lie... the President of Puntland seems to be not satisfied with the joint communique that came out of the recently concluded National Forum meeting in Mogadishu.
Deni has run for Somalia president against Hassan Sheikh Mohamud in May 15 election and he is now preparing for a second attempt in 2026.

[Rudaw] Iraq’s development of the Umm Qasr port near Basra is "a threat and a warning" to Iran, a senior Iranian official said Monday as Iraq looks forward to unveiling a larger port next year.
"The country is planning the development of Umm Qasr with the cooperation of Italia, so that it can compete with Fujairah and Jabal Ali and Iraq can be connected to The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor... , Syria, and the Mediterranean, a route that is parallel to Iran ...Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979... and is actually a threat and a warning to our country," Javad Hedayati, the irector-general of transit office of Iran Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization, said during a conference.
Umm Qasr is Iraq’s main seaport and is located approximately 70 kilometers south of the city of Basra.
Iraq in December announced that it will complete the grand port of Faw nearly a year ahead of schedule, with the port set to be completed by the end of 2024 as opposed to 2025 due to the rapid progression of the project’s building phase.
The Faw port will be deeper than Qasr and allow larger container ships to dock at its harbor, bringing about greater profit for Iraq.
In 2021, AFP reported about the rife corruption in Umm Qasr port and said that pro-Iranian gangs dominate the customs department of the port and supervise the security of the area.

Scientists trained the AI to analyze 91 variables to determine if an inmate is at high or low risk of rearrests after being released on parole ...which means the AI was given the programmers’ prejudices and assumptions. Scientists from The University of California, Davis
The variables include age, race, sentences and previous arrests
The AI was tested on data from the New York State Parole Board from 2012 to 2015, a time when more than 19,000 inmates had parole hearings
More than 4,000 were released, but the AI found the parole board should have released nearly 50 percent more Can we assume the programmers hail from the left side of the spectrum?
