[NYPOST] A Wisconsin man convicted of killing six people and injuring dozens more when he drove through a Christmas parade near Milwaukee last year was sentenced to life in prison on Wednesday at the conclusion of a two-day hearing.
Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Jennifer Dorow handed down six mandatory life in a prison terms to Darrell Brooks,
...the BLM-loving, anti-Trump, sovereign citizen s3x offender with the interesting tattoos who insisted on defending himself after deliberately driving into a crowd of mostly white people at speed...
40, who was found guilty on Oct. 26 of 76 criminal charges, including six counts of intentional homicide.
So much for Mr. Brooks’ intimidating stare.
Brooks deliberately drove his sport utility vehicle through police barricades last November and plowed into crowds of people participating in the annual parade in Waukesha, about 15 miles west of downtown Milwaukee.
"I want you to know that not only I am sorry for what happened, I am sorry that you cannot see what is truly in my heart and the remorse in my heart," Brooks said as he wept during his statement in a packed courtroom.
What will you do to make up for the lives you ended prematurely?
The two-day sentencing hearing began on Tuesday when dozens of relatives of those killed and injured along with victims who survived the incident told the court about their loved ones and confronted Brooks, who wore orange prison clothing and a surgical mask over his nose and mouth. Spit guard
"Today is our day. Today is for us. Today is so we can take our handful of dirt, throw it on his grave and move on," said Chris Owen, whose mother Leanna Owen, 71, died in the attack.

Coming soon: States that can't count their votes by midnight on election day get no representation. States that do not execute their murderers cannot originate out of state flights or ground transport and their drivers' licenses are not recognized outside their own state.

Anyone thinking of starting a pool as to when Biden and company pardons him? After all he's one of the oppressed classes.

We need to bring back public executions. Like 3 seconds after sentencing, fuck this bastard. Why should the families of the people he killed and the rest of us have to keep this bastard alive for the rest of his life?

^There may be Decent Ordinary Criminals with, say, beloved grandmothers who will want a private word with him.
[NYPOST] The crazed man who allegedly hijacked a packed MTA bus in Queens was indicted on a slew of charges Wednesday — as a judge refused to lower his bail despite the defense attorney’s claim that his client could die on Rikers Island.Dwayne Gaddy, 44, will remain locked up on the $500,000 bail following his arraignment on the 11-count indictment charging him with kidnapping, assault and grand larceny for the Oct. 27 incident in Cambria Heights.
His Legal Aid lawyer, Kenneth Findelman, told Queens Supreme Court Justice Toni Cimino that Gaddy, who was diagnosed with schizophrenia, should be freed under restricted home supervision pending trial.
Au contraire, mon ami — a violent schizophrenic needs to be locked up on the prison psych ward at least until he demonstrates the understanding that he must take his medications regularly. Until he reaches that point he is a danger to himself and all those around him.
"Housing him at Rikers is the wrong place," Finkelman said to The Post outside the courtroom, adding that his client has already been stabbed at the city-run jail and could be in more danger.
1) Everyone at Rikers is at risk for violence — he isn’t special.
2) Unfortunately, New York State closed all its insane asylums decades ago. All they have left are a few hospital suicide wards, where patients are kept for three days or until stabilized, but no longer because while the need is practically infinite, the number of hospital beds for the purpose is very finite, indeed.
"We know that every month one or two people die at Rikers Island and he’s just the kind of person that’s going to die at Rikers Island," Finkelman said. "That’s what bail reform is supposed to be about."
As of the end of October, 18 inmates have died in the New York City jail system, the highest total since 2013 and topping the 2021 full-year total of 16, data shows.

Not sure that the dude is safe from himself at home. Arguing for confinement in a hospital seems more reasonable.

[Blaze] Transsexuals may only account for a sliver minority of the population, but they have garnered a majority of certain Democrats' concern. With her city facing a 7.4% increase in violent crimes and out-of-control homelessness, San Francisco Mayor London Breed (D) has kicked off a new so-called guaranteed income program for those who identify as members of the opposite sex.
Gender dysphoria has its perks
Breed announced the so-called "Guaranteed Income for Trans People" program on Wednesday, claiming that "our trans communities experience much higher rates of poverty and discrimination, so this program will target support to lift individuals in this community up."
It is unclear whether Breed was referencing a popular albeit outdated seven-year-old survey backed by transsexual activist groups that alleged 33% of transsexual Californians were living in poverty, nearly three times the poverty rate of the general population.
Regardless of the veracity this claim, the city has allocated $2 million over two years for GIFT, which will provide 55 low-income transsexuals with $1,200 every month for up to 18 months.
Don't miss out on content from Dave Rubin free of big tech censorship. Listen to The Rubin Report now.
Unlike other government handouts, the cash designated for the qualifying transsexuals is unconditional, meaning it can be spent on anything, including drugs and alcohol. Enrollees do not have to report their spending.
Extra to the guarantee of $1,200 a month, KRON4 reported that the program will provide those accepted into the program with "direct services" such as "gender affirming" medical care (i.e., hormone therapy, genital mutilation, hair removal, and prosthetics), mental health care, and financial coaching.
The program — a partnership between the Transgender District, Lyon-Martin Community Health Services, and the City and County of San Francisco — will be accepting applications from Nov. 15 to Dec. 15.

[Epoch Times/Fox] A puppy found floating down a Texas river in a box is now at Austin Pets Alive! and looking for his forever home.
APA! says that in early October, they received a call from another Texas shelter, saying a man had come in with a puppy he found floating in a box down the river and needed help the shelter couldn't provide.
The two-month-old black Lab retriever mix had tested positive for parvovirus, a highly contagious life-threatening virus. The man drove two hours to bring the puppy to APA!'s Puppy Parvo ICU, which treats around 1,000 puppies a year, according to the rescue.
For the first few days, Kayak was severely ill. Weak and lethargic, it took a great deal of love and care to bring the small puppy back to life. After almost a week, though, he started to regain strength. Now, less than a month on, Kayak is a regular puppy, loving attention and full of bounce.
Happily, the puppy found drifting away in a box, certain to perish, has made a complete recovery.
"Kayak is now in a loving home enjoying cuddles, belly rubs and yummy treats!" APA! wrote.

[NYPOST] For more than a decade, the family of a woman stabbed 20 times — including 10 from behind — has battled to have the Philadelphia medical examiner’s ruling that her death was a suicide overturned.
That seems fair.
Ellen Greenberg, a 27-year-old teacher, was found covered in bruises and stabbed to death in her apartment during a blizzard more than a decade ago. Despite the blood-soaked scene of the crime, evidence her body had been moved and stab wounds to the back of her skull, Sherlocks found "no evidence of a struggle in the kitchen area or anywhere else in the apartment."
Dr. Marlon Osbourne, a former pathologist at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Philadelphia, initially ruled the death a homicide, based on the injuries, then backtracked and revised the manner of death to suicide after conferring with city police, according to a civil lawsuit from Greenberg’s family.
An appeals court heard arguments in a civil lawsuit this week and will decide whether it can move to trial.
Lawyers on both sides of the appeal made their cases before a three-member panel of the Commonwealth court Tuesday, Joe Podraza, an attorney for Greenberg’s parents, told Fox News Digital.
"We are cautiously optimistic that the panel will find the estate of Ellen Greenberg may proceed to trial on her mandamus and declatory actions against the City (of Philadelphia) and Dr. Osbourne so that the manner of her death may be changed from suicide to something else," he said. "Only then can we begin to secure justice for Ellen."

I recollect a cartoon of an arm sticking out of the top of a meat grinder with a pile of ground meat in front of it captioned ‘most determined case of suicide I have ever seen.’

A friend told me of a anecdote that came up in university course taught by a pathologist: a Chicago coroner they referred to as "Suicide Sandy" because of a 'Suicide' verdict on a cadaver that had shot themselves six (6) times in the heart with a revolver. Determined fellow that!
[Breitbart] A left-wing Fulton County, Georgia, judge has overturned the Peach State’s heartbeat bill that bans abortions after around six weeks.
Fulton County is perhaps the most far-left county in Georgia and Judge Robert C. I. McBurney essentially took what the left considers to be the strongest constitutional arguments to invent a right to abortion and applied them to Georgia’s state constitution.
The arguments stem from Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey — both of which were overturned by Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization in June — which, due to their overturns, are now being used to read a right to the procedure into state constitutions in lieu of the federal guarantee.
"At that time — the spring of 2019 — everywhere in America, including Georgia, it was unequivocally unconstitutional for governments — federal, state, or local — to ban abortions before viability," McBurney wrote of Georgia’s 2019 LIFE Act.
Georgia argued that the new Dobbs ruling did not reflect a change in constitutional law "because there was never a federal constitutional right to abortion."
But in a footnote, McBurney snidely replied, "Except there was. For 50 years. And we know it because the very same Supreme Court told us so. Repeatedly."

Given the average North Korean citizen peasantry earns on average about $125 a month.
Each time N.K. fires a ballistic missile into the sea with an average cost of about $5 Million dollars. That means it wastes enough money to feed to 40,000 of it's citizen peasantry for a month. Times that by the now 26 launches already this year. ($130,000,000 +/-)
Sure seems there is little difference between Communist North Korea and the LSD run DC Swamp when it comes to wasting money instead of taking care of it citizens.

...At least one of these missiles, and possibly more, were ballistically fired SAMs. Might be nice if that means that Round Boy's continuous Richard waving is running down his wartime stocks.

[NYPOST] The Pentagon’s highest-ranking officer warned China off a potential invasion of Taiwan, emphasizing Wednesday that such a move would be a "dangerous game" for Beijing, especially given its military’s lack of fighting experience.
"For someone who has a military that hasn’t fought in combat since fighting the Vietnamese in 1979, they would be playing a very, very dangerous game to cross the [Taiwan] Strait and invade the island of Taiwan," said Army Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. "They don’t have the experience, the background to do it. They haven’t trained to it yet."
Calling Chinese President Xi Jinping "a rational actor," Milley said he did not believe Beijing would attempt to invade Taiwan soon, as President Biden has signaled the US would come to the island nation’s aid should its self-governance be threatened.
"I think he evaluates things on cost-benefit risk, and I think that he would conclude that an attack on Taiwan in the near future [would] be an excessive amount of risk and would end in a strategic debacle for the Chinese military," the general said of Xi. "It would throw off their ’China Dream’ of being the number one economic and military power."
Xi has made "reunification" with Taiwan his primary goal. The United States adheres to a so-called "One China" policy, which acknowledges China’s claims of illusory sovereignty over the island, but considers its status unsettled.

...On the one hand, if GEN Milley told me the sky was blue, I would take a team of trusted NCOs out to confirm it.
On the other hand, he's right. So is a stopped clock twice a day, but there it is. Trouble is that Milley's actions in the past, and the demonstrated military incompetence the Biden Administration have shown, has done nothing to convince the PRC that that they shouldn't do this.
Xi believes he has a clear path to pull this off, and even if we can somehow muster the forces to stop it, he's betting he can absorb the casualties on the one hand, while still taking Taiwan out of the game for an indefinite period of time.

Yeah.. I bet Miley spends hours each day in front of the mirror practicing misgendering people.
Armed with a 12-page book of inappropriate pronouns. Xi better watch out this guy is serious!
I'm guessing February is the optimal period for cross channel naval blockage and invasion sustainment by sea and air. The added benefit for that period is the political distraction/chaos of the new House of Representatives bloviations and initial PR efforts.
The South China Sea has a predominately tropical climate, dictated by two monsoons that are characterized by their direction of airflow. The Northeast monsoon is active in the winter months of November to March, while during the summer between May and September the Southwest monsoon is active.

May and October are the best windows for invasion. The skies are fairly clear and the ocean fairly calm. China would have to finish the invasion in 30 days for each window before iffy weather becomes a real possibility again. Combine that with a decent moon and best tidal times you can narrow down the invasion date each year pretty well.
[Epoch Times] Amazon on Wednesday confirmed it started laying off employees, days after several news outlets reported the retail giant would cut as many as 10,000 employees in the near future. Frantic hiring before the election, layoffs after. Coincidence? A spokesperson for the company told news outlets that jobs would be shed and cited the "current macroeconomic environment" as the reason why. Amazon employed over 1.6 million full- and part-time employees in 2021, with about 600,000 working at the headquarters in 2020, according to Statista.
Over the past several years, tech companies like Amazon have significantly ramped up hiring as the COVID-19 pandemic shifted consumers’ habits away from brick-and-mortar stores to online retail. However, as U.S. economic conditions deteriorate amid high inflation, layoffs appear inevitable. Good thing for Brandon they didn't make this announcement before the election!
