[PJ] It seems as if every day lately there is another reason to break out the champagne in Moscow and Beijing, and Saturday was no exception: it was the day of Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE)’s first "Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Summer Festival," featuring (what else), a drag show. What does all this woke nonsense have to do with winning wars? Oh, never mind that; that’s the old, white supremacist military! The new diverse military has other priorities altogether.
The festival, according to the Daily Wire, will feature "a series of performances and speeches, including a poem on ’Diversity, Equity and Inclusion’ and a drag show by Joshua Kelley, who performs under the moniker Harpy Daniels."
This isn’t some outsider, non-military-grade drag show, either. Harpy Daniels is actually a yeoman 3rd class in the United States Navy, and you can just imagine how proud John Paul Jones and Chester Nimitz would be if they saw young Harpy in action. He actually joined the Navy in order to finance his drag career. Back in the bad old days, young men joined the Navy out of a sense of patriotism (and no doubt a desire for adventure), but for Harpy it’s just a means to an end: "With drag being my number one passion," Yeoman Harpy explained, "it quickly became costly. On top of just struggling to make ends meet and then pay college loans, the Navy became a great option to get myself situated in life."
They’re going to get a bravura performance at JBLE, because Harpy gives it his or her or xis all: "Doing drag allows me to embrace my feminine side and allows me to bring my diversity and creativity out. When I put on a face, it’s a face of art and creativity, not just a face of make-up. To hear people cheer, laugh or cry, or even join in with you during a performance is an absolute thrill."
Those straights and dweebs over at the Daily Wire note primly that Harpy’s "professional Instagram page features dozens of photos of him in drag, many of them heavily sexualized. Some of the photos show Kelley nude, though the photos themselves appear to not violate Instagram’s nudity policies." My fellow Americans, this is your United States Navy!

And yet the USAF freaked out in the 90's when my dad (who was teaching NBC warfare at this point) was going to include MOPP level 0 in a demonstration to some generals. (His sergeant suggested she wear a bikini for it, so it was HER idea to do it and my dad said she was easy on the eyes)
[ZERO] A person without a parachute exited a twin-engine cargo plane before an emergency landing Friday afternoon at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) in North Carolina.
Local media ABC 11 reported the CASA C-212 Aviocar medium cargo plane experienced landing-gear issues ahead of landing at RDU. The story took a dramatic turn and a weird one when a person exited the plane thousands of feet in the air.
Feel good story of the weekend...
DALLAS - Dallas police are investigating after a homeowner fatally shot a suspect who reportedly threatened to kill the homeowner late Saturday night.
The shooting happened just after 11 p.m., in the 2600 block of Quinto Drive.
Investigators found that before being shot, the suspect "was harassing the neighborhood" and tried to break into several cars.
Police were told the suspect threatened to kill a homeowner. The suspect pretended to have a weapon and reportedly charged at the homeowner twice. Rule to live by: Never bring an imaginary 'little friend' to a gunfight.
That's when the homeowner, who claimed to be in fear for their life, shot the suspect.
The suspect was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. Play stupid games, Win stupid deaths
The suspect's name has not yet been released. I guess you can look it up on his tombstone.
No charges have been filed at this time.

I really don't get why criminals don't decide to move someplace they are less likely to get shot. I know, they do tend to be stupid but this kind of thing is COMMON here. Nobody will get charged because the law lays it out. Mischief at night means you get shot.
Just as America’s history of African chattel slavery is a small subset of a much vaster market back in Africa, so is the human trafficking of Africans seen in Europe and America a lucrative, but much smaller, subset of a common practice back home.
[DW] The trafficking of children in Nigeria for domestic service, sex work and forced surrogacy is rampant and lucrative. DW talks to two children about the horrors of their experiences.
CHILD TRAFFICKING RAMPANT
Timipriye, who has been working for her uncle's family for four years now, is a victim of child trafficking.
That is when children and young people are tricked, forced or persuaded to leave their homes, and are then moved somewhere and exploited for someone else's gain.
In Nigeria, children make up the largest group of trafficking victims. They are trafficked for many reasons, from domestic service like Timipriye to sexual exploitation, being used as child soldiers, forced begging, organ harvesting and even forced surrogacy in "baby farms" where they are impregnated and made to give birth.
Of the people trafficked in Nigeria, the highest proportion are girls between the ages of 12 and 17.
The vast majority, like Timipriye, are transported within Nigeria.
Whether someone moves 10 kilometers from one community to another, or thousands of kilometers to another continent, the "common denominator" for human trafficking is "exploitation," says Daniel Atokolo, Nigeria's National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking In Persons.
Though international organizations largely agree that Nigeria has improved its efforts to tackle trafficking, the scope of the problem is still enormous.
Almost 1.4 million individuals were living in modern slavery in Nigeria in 2018, according to an estimate by the Walk Free Foundation, an international human rights ...not to be confused with individual rights, mind you... group that publishes a global slavery index.
TRICKED BY A TRUSTED ADULT
As is the case with Timipriye, it is often relatives, friends or trusted community members who either directly exploit trafficked children, or who procure the child for someone else.
Poverty is seen as the root cause of making children vulnerable to trafficking.
Recruiters are most likely to approach "the poorest and most vulnerable" and the "illiterate and psychologically weak" finds a study by the Pathfinders Justice Initiative, an organization working with Nigerian trafficking survivors.
FEW CONVICTIONS
These recruiters are seldom caught. The 2021 Trafficking in Persons report for Nigeria, compiled by the US government, reports only 36 convictions of traffickers.
The failure to hold traffickers to account means that the few survivors who manage to escape often still live in fear of violence, or fear of their families being harmed, if their traffickers find them.
This is the case with Ivie, who was trafficked to Italia and forced to into sex work when she was 15 after a trusted family friend promised to take her to Europa ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... and find her a job as a babysitter and a place at a school.
Her traffickers locked Ivie up with no food until she caved into their wishes. The International Organization for Migration estimates that 80% of the young Nigerian women who arrive in Italia are likely forced into prostitution as sex trafficking victims.
Ivie escaped after she told her story to a client who had commented that she was too young to be doing sex work. He connected her with Catholic nuns who helped her escape and eventually return to Nigeria.
Back at home, Ivie's nightmare isn't over. She lives in constant fear as the trafficking syndicate is hounding her and her parents, saying Ivie owes them large sums of money — in US dollars — that they spent on her travel expenses.
Ivie now can't live with her family nor sleep at home; she constantly moves from one place to the next to avoid being found by the trafficking ring.

Opposition figure warns of impending uprising in Africa's richest country
Julius Malema said there would be an 'Arab Spring' with white people targeted
Demanded immediate intervention by ruling ANC to improve living conditions
South Africa is struggling with high inflation and high unemployment
What an excellent argument in favor of the racism and colonialism we thought we'd put behind us. Why argue with proven success. Malema and followers elect to use the Chicago, Atlanta, LA model. Or do I actually have it backwards.

When worldwide media repeatedly create false narratives of "white, systemic racism" in the first world, it engenders a growing sense among POC of tacit, moral approval to unleash the rabid, anti-white racism long displayed but not frequently reported.

according to our media & gov't: you cant be racist if you're black, but you can if your skin is any other pigmentation. Years ago i read an add in 'computerword', "we accept any color or shape of skin"
[Breitbart] Mexico’s president claims the U.S. government is funding environmental groups attempting to block one of his pet projects — a rail project near the resort of Cancun. As a result, this week, he reclassified the project as one of national security importance.
Dubbed the Mayan Train, the unfinished rail project is meant to unite various tourist resort cities near Cancun. According to Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO), the project would connect major Mayan Riviera resort cities, creating thousands of jobs and will bring economic benefit to the country. However, various groups and NGOs in Mexico attempted to derail the project, claiming that it would cause irreparable damage to the country’s jungle areas. Those groups filed for multiple court injunctions in an attempt to stop construction.
During a news conference, Mexico’s president defended his decision to label the project as one of national security by claiming that there was foreign interference from the U.S. government. Under the claim that the project was a national security issue, Lopez Obrador ordered construction to resume. As part of his rhetoric, AMLO has been calling his opposers “traitors” and claimed they are funded by and working for a foreign government.
“This is a national security issue for many reasons because a foreign government is interfering,” Lopez Obrador said. “Pseudo environmentalists come from Mexico City and other parts of the country, financed by the government of the United States, and they file these injunctions against us.”
In an interview with the Associated Press, environmental activist Pepe Urbina said AMLO’s claims were untrue. The activist told the publication that he works as a professional driver and does not receive foreign funding.
“They are slandering us, by claiming we work for the U.S. government,” Urbina said. “It is absurd.”
According to Mexico’s El Financiero, Lopez Obrador previously singled out an organization called Mexicanos Contra La Corrupcion e Impunidad (Mexicans Against Corruption and Impunity) with claims that they receive funding from the U.S. government.
GUATEMALA CITY, July 30 (Reuters) - Guatemalan military exchanged fire with the passengers of a car as it approached the location of President Alejandro Giammattei's entourage on Saturday, though the president was elsewhere and was unharmed, an army spokesman said.
Military officials stopped the vehicle as it neared a checkpoint guarding the presidential delegation during a visit by Giammattei to the area of Huehuetenango, 300 km (190 miles) east of capital Guatemala City, the spokesman said.
The occupants of the car opened fire on the soldiers, who returned fire. Giammattei was about 2 km (a mile) away at the time.
"We inform the people of Guatemala and the international community that the president is unharmed and was evacuated from the area in a timely manner," a government statement said.
One of the gunmen, who is Mexican, was injured in the confrontation, the statement said. The others fled in the car towards the Mexican border about 80 km (50 miles) away, it said.

Yeah, without the context I find it hard to get worked up about this. If people started reporting the number of fires at rig sites or places in the oil industry people would panic.
[FoxBusinessNews] U.S.cattle producers are sending higher numbers of breeding stock to the sale barn, and some are liquidating their herds entirely, signaling a trend that analysts say will likely push already-elevated beef prices even higher in the not-too-distant future.
The latest cattle report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture shows the market has contracted to levels not seen in years, with total inventory dropping 2% to 98.8 million head since July 2021.

The usual suspects want to scare you, but irradiated beef can store for far longer. It does lose the 'fresh' taste of recently slaughtered variety if you are a gourmand.
#2
If they didn’t have to slaughter the cattle because of the lack of food they’d have to do it to prevent nitrogen and CO2 emissions. The vegetarians are in charge.

I remember many years ago, some mayor in Dallas decreed (sorta tongue in cheek) that Fridays in the summer should be necktie free Fridays. Of course, he was not responding to an energy crisis, as I recall.

With Central Canada and Siberia having colder than usual air in the middle of the year (2022) leading to the 2022-2023 winter cycle. There are a number of Weather Guessers predicting a repeat of the snow and ice storms seen in the 1970's.
Right about now, I bet many in the EU are having a change of mind about being an Eco-tree hugger friendly Mother-Earth type, vs having Nuke &/or Coal Power Plants to cool and warm their butts.
IF predictions pan out for Winter temps, during the Solar Minimum. There will be a lot of old buildings and sheds looted for burnable fuels?
[JustTheNews] New FOIA docs give boost to legal challenges to federal involvement in social media content moderation.
The newly revealed scope of collaboration between the feds and Big Tech in stamping out purported COVID-19 misinformation and promoting government narratives has opened a new chapter in constitutional challenges to state-influenced censorship by private actors.
On Wednesday night, America First Legal (AFL) published the first 286-page batch of emails among CDC, Google, Twitter and Meta staffers, some of whom were former Hill and White House aides. The production was compelled through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, and typical of government document dumps, it's not text-searchable.
The emails show intimate cooperation was well underway by the time the White House a year ago acknowledged the effort, which included thinly veiled threats for not more aggressively removing content.
New Civil Liberties Alliance attorney Jenin Younes told Just the News it incorporated "the revelations about the CDC emails" into a filing Thursday seeking to reopen its case against the feds on behalf of deplatformed users.
A federal court dismissed that litigation a month before a whistleblower leaked documents suggesting the Department of Homeland Security's since-scrapped Disinformation Governance Board planned to "operationalize" its relationship with social media companies to remove content. NCLA cited those documents in its initial motion to reopen in June.
NCLA motion to reopen.pdf
The document dump by AFL, led by former Trump White House senior advisor Stephen Miller, is also likely to help a lawsuit by Missouri and Louisiana attorneys general against the feds for alleged collusion with Big Tech to censor information on COVID's origins, Hunter Biden's laptop and vote-by-mail security.
The feds filed a motion to dismiss two weeks ago for lack of legal standing and failure to state a claim. The AGs' responses aren't due until next week.
AFL's documents show the CDC shared specific tweets and Facebook and Instagram posts as examples of content to remove, including an interview with a former Pfizer vice president, Michael Yeadon, who advised against taking "top up" vaccines, meaning boosters.
The agency inserted its own COVID recommendations into Google's code, received $15 million in Facebook ad credits to promote its messaging, and even notified Facebook that Wyoming's public health messages were getting throttled as misinformation.
CDC digital media branch chief Carol Crawford, the sender on many of the emails, sent Facebook a suggested "quiz" that tells users to get vaccinated even if they have natural immunity, which a new study in the New England Journal of Medicine found more effective than two-dose vaccination against symptomatic Omicron BA.2 infection.
She suggested adding a paragraph to Facebook posts mentioning the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System that emphasizes the system accepts reports from anyone, without noting that manufacturers and healthcare providers are required by law to report and the two account for most reports.
Twitter proactively asked the agency what to censor and requested holding off on a misinformation coordination meeting because its CEO was about to testify in Congress.
A Google News staffer told the CDC in June 2020 that the company's efforts against COVID and election misinformation were "inevitably related."
The agency hosted regular "Be on the Lookout" meetings with tech companies, featuring slide presentations of messages to censor and "The Facts" to counter them, with instructions to limit the slides to "your trust and safety teams." Each page says "THIS INFORMATION IS NOT FOR FURTHER DISTRIBUTION."
Some of the specific content the feds wanted removed, and narratives they sought to promote, have subsequently become subjects of debate among mainstream scientists, including vaccine side effects on menstruation and fertility, optimal time between mRNA doses, and the effectiveness of masks against viral transmission.
The CDC's Crawford included a tweet by feminist COVID contrarian Naomi Wolf on the misinformation example list. "Unconfirmed, needs more investigation," Wolf tweeted, pointing to a Facebook group where women shared their "bleeding/ clotting after vaccination or that they bleed oddly being AROUND vaccinated women."
Several months later, the National Institutes of Health admitted vaccines have a "small" effect on menstrual cycles. A peer-reviewed study this month in Science Advances found nearly as many women with "regular menstrual cycles" reported heavier bleeding within two weeks of vaccination (42%) as those who reported no change (44%).
The feds also highlighted claims about "shedding" as targets for removal. While some examples referred to transmitting the vaccines' allegedly poisonous ingredients, others weren't specific. Viral shedding can simply refer to actively infectious people, vaccinated or not.
University of Colorado medical researchers this spring found that vaccinated people shed in an unexpected way.
Their preprint study, not yet peer-reviewed, found that vaccinated healthcare workers shed vaccine-induced antibodies into their face masks, leading the researchers to hypothesize "droplet/aerosolized antibody transfer" was possible between people.
Most of the document dump is not meaningfully redacted, though about 20 pages have partial or full redactions under the FOIA exemption for internal government deliberations known as (b)(5), regarded by transparency groups left and right as the "most abused" exemption.
Those sections concern April 2021 CDC deliberations on the template for its social media paid ads, updating the "Prevention and Treatment tabs" in Google's Knowledgebase, Google's request to "discuss vaccines" at a scheduled agency meeting, and Facebook's proposed "I got a vaccine" frame for user profiles.
Other recent developments may put the feds on the defensive. Deplatformed journalist Emerald Robinson said Thursday that "excess death data" were missing from CDC databases.
A new preprint study by a Dutch researcher, not yet peer-reviewed, found Dutch vaccination and booster campaigns had no "mortality-reducing effect" but did find a "4-sigma-significant mortality-enhancing effect during the two periods of high unexplained excess mortality" in the Netherlands.

So civil Rights were violated, Professionals were blackballed, the Public was deliberately kept from the truth, and people died because of the lies and censorship. All while a collection of Elite made $$$ Millions hand over fist.
A growing stupid question to ask under this Coup Admin.
When will we see justice and jail time for those that implemented this?
WHO?

The WHO's BioHub program was, in part, born of frustration over the hurdles researchers faced in getting samples of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, first detected in China, to understand its dangers and develop tools to fight it.
