Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid recently announced that three people had been arrested on charges of being involved in recent attacks and explosions in Kabul.
He described the prisoners as “disruptors” who “disrupted the security of the city in exchange for money” on his tweet of 14th June, last night.
These men, according to Mujahid, were apprehended in Kabul’s fourth police district.
The Taliban official has used the term “disruptor” to characterize anti-Taliban figures in the past, as well as opposition forces more recently.
He claimed that the detainees had confessed to their crimes and had done so in exchange for money.
For the past two months, the Taliban and its forces have been under heavy guerrilla attacks by the National Resistance Front, and inside the cities, the Taliban’s forces have been insecure and have been attacked with magnetic mines and explosives.

Five internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Borno state have been accused of fraternising with terrorists.
They were part of the 87 suspects paraded on Wednesday by operatives of the Borno State Police Command, in connection with crimes ranging from terrorism, armed robbery, rape, and kidnapping among others.
According to the State Commissioner of Police, Abdu Umar, the IDPs were tracked from the Force Headquarters in Abuja through their phone conversations with suspected terrorists.
One of the accused persons, a woman identified as Rashida Saleh, claimed her telephone conversation was with her relative called Dauda, but noted that she had no idea of his whereabouts.
Umar said, "On 29th of April 2022, Intelligence Bureau of the command acting on communication intercepted some GSM numbers provided by tactical intelligence unit, force headquarters Abuja, arrested five suspects for fraternity with Boko Haram ...Nigeerian Islamist group, formerly paying homage to al-Qaeda, then, when the money ran out, to the Islamic State, and headed by nutcase Abu Bakr Shekau. Once he exploded in a gunfight with ISWAP, many in the group surrendered to the govt and others went with their new overlords. The remainder are a shell of their former selves, stmbling glassy-eyed and lonely through the Sambisa Forest and the soothing waters of Lake Chad, asking themselves What is truth?, or maybe just I wonder what's for dinner? I hope it's not rhinocerous again! ... /ISWAP terrorists.
"The suspects are Ali Ahmadu of Jajari area Maiduguri, Rabi Alhaji Abbas of Jajari area Maiduguri, Fatima Mohammed, Rashida Saleh and Alhaji Atake of Gubio IDPs camp."
The Police boss said the other 82 persons were arrested in different parts of the state including Maiduguri metropolis, Jere, Konduga, Gwoza and Hauwul councils.

This move to instil peace and harmony among adherents of the two religions followed the massacre at St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-Iuwa, Owo in Ondo state.
The leaders of the two religions, according to The Punch, struck the deal on Wednesday when a delegation of the League of Imams and Alfas submitted a condolence letter over the attack of Christians in Owo to the CAN Chairman, Bishop Tunde Akin-Akinsanya.
SaharaReporters had reported that button men suspected to be Islamic terrorists, invaded St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, killed no fewer than 40 worshippers and injured several others, some of whom are still receiving treatment in various hospitals in the state. People, groups and countries have condemned the attack, describing it as evil and unprovoked.
But according to the report, the Secretary-General of the League of Imams and Alfas, Sheikh Tajudeen Adewunmi, led the Islamic leaders in the condolence visit to the CAN Chairman at the organization’s Abeokuta office.
Adewunmi who was accompanied by Imam of Makun, Sagamu, Dr. Tajudeen Ashaye, and other religious leaders across the state described the Owo attack as unfortunate, saying that Moslems in the state were pained by the incident.
He said there was no reason why any Moslem should invade a church or attack any Christian in the name of religion.
He said, "We decided to pay a condolence visit to you on behalf of all Moslems in the state over the Owo incident.
"We are here to show our displeasure to the killings and to also assure you that Moslems are not killers and will not attack Christians in the state.
"We have seen ourselves as a family and we will continue to relate as such. We have Christians and Moslems in our families. We have no reason to attack ourselves."
"On behalf of the entire Moslems in Ogun State, the league felt concerned, that is why we were asked to come down and show our condolence.
"We, the Moslems have come to register our condolence. And we are here to assure you that the Moslems in Ogun state are very peaceful, we are very friendly with Christians. We pray that such a thing will never happen again," he added.
The CAN chairman thanked the delegation, describing their visit as reassuring and noting that Christians do not see Moslems as killers.
He said, "It is not very easy for us here to fight. Those who did it are neither Moslems nor Christians. They are satanic.
"They are our enemies. They are not Moslems. Such things that are happening in the north cannot happen here because we are a family. You hardly see any family without the two religions, but it is unfortunate that such a thing happened. The attack came from our arch enemies.
"I am so happy. Let’s say that, this is the first time this kind of thing will happen and I want to commend the leadership of the Islamic religion in Ogun state for this. I pray almighty God bless all of us.
"In my own family, I even have someone that is next to Chief Imam in Ijebu-land before he died, my elder brother, same father, same mother and we were close.
"These attackers are neither Moslems nor Christians. They cannot find a place where people are asked to kill others in the Koran or Bible, it means they are satanic."
