It will be illuminating to see how many of these laws survive a US Supreme Court challenge... if they go to the US Supreme Court instead of the New York State Supreme Court. But either way, I imagine the fact the laws are now onthe books will accelerate the exodus to red states. The 2030 census is going to be a doozy.
Already tried this law in California. Ruled unconstitutional
[AlAhram] New Yorkers under age 21 will be prohibited from buying semiautomatic rifles under a new law signed Monday by Gov. Kathy Hochul, making the state one of the first to enact a major gun control initiative following a wave of deadly mass shootings.
Hochul, a Democrat, signed 10 gun-related bills, including one that will require microstamping in new firearms, which could help law enforcement solve gun-related crimes.
Another revised the state's ``red flag'' law, which allows courts to temporarily take away guns from people who might be a threat to themselves or others.
``In New York, we are taking bold, strong action. We're tightening red flag laws to keep guns away from dangerous people,'' Hochul said at a presser in the Bronx.
Among the bills signed was also one that will restrict sales on body vests and armor to civilians.
New York's Legislature passed the bills last week, pushing the changes through after a pair of mass shootings involving 18-year-old button men using semiautomatic rifles.
Ten Black people died in a racist attack on a Buffalo supermarket May 14. A Texas school shooting took the lives of 19 children and two teachers 10 days later.
The governor said New York will continue to invest in prevention of gun-related crimes by partnering with local communities and continuing to strengthen laws by putting pressure on Congress.
``Today is the start, and it's not the end,'' said Hochul. ``Thoughts and prayers won't fix this, but taking strong action will. We will do that in the name of the lives that have been lost, for the parents who will no longer see their children stepping off the school bus.''

10 U.S. Code § 246 - Militia: composition and classes
(a) The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age and, except as provided in section 313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have made a declaration of intention to become, citizens of the United States and of female citizens of the United States who are members of the National Guard.
(b) The classes of the militia are—
(1) the organized militia, which consists of the National Guard and the Naval Militia; and
(2) the unorganized militia, which consists of the members of the militia who are not members of the National Guard or the Naval Militia.
Since when can states trump federal law?
THE SUPREMACY CLAUSE Article. VI. This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, anything in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.

2020 census seems to have ‘mistakenly’ kept a lot of the exodus to red states in blue states for governmental purposes-like Congressional representation. 2030 will do the same without major changes in the deep state.

I remember how pissed off I was about the government drafting 18-year-old young men to fight in Vietnam who were not allowed to vote. They were not allowed any say in the matter whatsoever, only ordered into war ostensibly to fight for democracy in spite of the fact they were not allowed to participate in said democracy.
Now 18-year-olds can vote but they can't have a gun unless they enlist in the military and they can't drink beer (legally) even if they enlist.
To me, this indicates very shaky hands on the reins of power in this country.

I read yesterday that 40% of US corn production is now dedicated to fuel additives. Think about how that impacts every form of food for human and animal food costs.

If you want to create the national crisis to impact the looming political wipe out in November with the risks of investigation and culpability for the looting of the public treasury, then the perfect storm of Roe-V-Wade overturn, The J-6 TV farce, crime waves, gun control, debt overload, massive inflation, food insecurity and $10 gas seems a perfect solution. Civil disorder on an unprecdented scale is being set up as a predicate by DHS for some attempt to control the outcome.

Most expensive baby formula in history. This will be interesting to see how Buttigieg handles the upcoming food issues caused by transportation and fertilizer costs. Farm belt folks are planting only enough for local distribution. Buttigieg is in for a bumpy ride. Maybe he can get his spouse pregnant again and take some time off.

Does anyone really think a planeload a week makes a difference?
About as much sense as emptying the strategic petroleum reserve will make a difference.
[ET] President Barack Obama approved a statement by the U.S. intelligence community in October 2016 accusing Russia of stealing emails from the Democratic National Committee (DNC), despite the U.S. government not having obtained the DNC server images crucial to ascertaining whether Moscow was involved in the theft.
FBI emails recently made public during the trial against now-acquitted DNC attorney Michael Sussmann show the bureau was still in the process of requesting images of the DNC servers on Oct. 13, 2016. The server images, which are equivalent to a virtual copy of the alleged crime scene, were taken by private cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike.
On Oct. 7, six days before CrowdStrike agreed to mail the server images to the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) released a statement accusing Russia of hacking U.S. political organizations and disseminating emails allegedly stolen through the hack. The statement was approved and encouraged by Obama, according to then-DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson.
"The president approved the statement. I know he wanted us to make the statement. So that was very definitely a statement by the United States government, not just Jim Clapper and me," Johnson told the House Intelligence Committee in June 2017, referring to then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.

Funny you should mention Crowdstrike. Even funnier how there always seems to be a Ukrainian connection.
CrowdStrike has ties to the Obama team, is friends with Hillary Clinton, former Ukraine president Petro Poroshenko, and connected to Ukrainian oligarch Victor Pinchuk, another friend of the DNC and someone who donated $10 million to the Clinton Foundation.
Tying it all together, the CrowdStrike document (if the full report ever existed) may have been one more element of the DNC/Deep State effort to end the Trump Presidency before it started If everything was above board—why didn’t the FBI demand to examine the DNC server or the entire CrowdStrike report?
CrowdStrike has a history of lying about Russia. In March of 2017, the Voice of America VOA caught CrowdStrike creating a bogus and unrelated hacking charge against Russia, and making up the facts to prove its veracity. It seems that CrowdStrike is as politically motivated as everyone else in Washington, D.C. The VOA caught CrowdStrike lying about a claim of Russian hacking damaging Ukrainian technology. There was no hacking to blame on Russia or anyone else. The company that the DNC and FBI relied upon not only made up a crime that didn’t exist but they blamed it on Putin’s Russia. This mistake is especially relevant because CrowdStrike accused the Russians of using the same software to hack Ukraine as they supposedly used in hacking the DNC. Shouldn’t that call into question CrowdStrike ’s report? At the very least that should have motivated the FBI to get a copy of the entire report about the DNC and investigate whether it was accurate?

Baraq might be big in the Deep State but I can't believe he's the biggest. This is a guy who never did an honest day's work in his entire life and all of a sudden he's POTUS? Uh-uh. Somebody's pulling his strings.

The eight years of the Clintons started the collapse of integrity -- with the Berlin Wall falling the only existential Enemy the Left had was fellow Americans, right? The Obama Years just saw more blatant partisans being appointed and promoted by the earlier Clinton appointees that had acquired seniority...
The Biden Era it is just more hubris and a total lack of shame.

[IsraelTimes] Indictment against ex-leader Henry ’Enrique’ Tarrio and 4 others among most serious charges yet handed down so far over January 6 storming of US Capitol
The former top leader of the far-right Proud Boys Death Eater group and other members were charged Monday with seditious conspiracy for what federal prosecutors say was a coordinated attack on the US Capitol to stop Congress from certifying US President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. A latter-day version of Romulus Augustulus, only more friendly to the barbarians at the gates... ’s 2020 electoral victory.

I fail to see sedition in trying to get Congress to refuse to certify the election. Now, if it was an armed assault that would be different, but the whole January 6 thing was just an attempt to be heard- a petition of the government with grievances (though in violation of some government rules against petitioning them.) The worst crimes would be some vandalism and a couple of assault cases.

#2 That's correct. Burn American flag = free speech. Burn BLM flag = sedition!. Part of Enrique's punishment was that he was not allowed back in DC. He was at home in WA state on Jan 6.

Around the same time, an unnamed person sent Tarrio a document that laid out plans for occupying a few "crucial buildings" in Washington on Jan. 6, including House and Senate office buildings around the Capitol, the indictment says.
So he's being charged because someone (unnamed: FBI plant?) sent him a document?
#17
#11 #2 Yes indeed. A false flag operation was needed by the left to try to get rid of Trump and his followers and to cover up a rigged election by the Deep State--hence Jan 6. Can't have anyone upsetting their lucrative apple cart. The tanking economy is punishment for Americans supporting Trump. It hard to believe this is accidental because no one could be this incompetent about the running the economy. If you substitute "ruining the economy," then it becomes very clear and they are very competent in ruining the economy.
Enrique Tarrio, the leader of the Proud Boys extremist group, has a past as an informer for federal and local law enforcement, repeatedly working undercover for investigators after he was arrested in 2012, according to a former prosecutor and a transcript of a 2014 federal court proceeding obtained by Reuters.
In the Miami hearing, a federal prosecutor, a Federal Bureau of Investigation agent and Tarrio’s own lawyer described his undercover work and said he had helped authorities prosecute more than a dozen people in various cases involving drugs, gambling and human smuggling.
Tarrio, in an interview with Reuters on Tuesday, denied working undercover or cooperating in cases against others. “I don’t know any of this,’” he said, when asked about the transcript. “I don’t recall any of this.”
#22
My understanding is that Tarrio was willing to cooperate with FBI but eventually found their focus on White supremacism a bunch of BS and broke off all contact. Since then the Fed has been harassing him and Biden has made it his personal mission to destroy the organization as his own "denazification" program. I believe they intend to broadcast specifically the trial of those PBs now in custody as a shot trial that will be presented as an indictment of an entire demographic in this country.
