[ET] An Oklahoma Democrat running for a U.S. House of Representatives seat announced March 24 she is ending her campaign after getting drunk and berating middle school girls at a sleepover. and throwing up in a hamper and a girl's shoe and denying she was there and... Abby Broyles had been accused of berating young girls during a slumber party. Broyles eventually confirmed the events, though she has also said she can’t remember what she said after drinking wine and using a medication "that helps you relax."
"I want to say sorry from the bottom of my heart, I apologize for any hurt or damage or trauma that my behavior, when I didn’t know what I was doing, caused. I’m deeply sorry," Broyles previously told KFOR-TV.
In her announcement, Broyles said she received a bombardment of calls from people after the incident, including calls to kill herself. She said she later "drank heavily" and took sleeping pills in a suicide attempt that was unsuccessful.
Rep. Stephanie Bice (R-Okla.), who currently holds the seat, is running for re-election.
[Georgia Patriot] Regardless how many times politicians tell you they want to fight corruption, or that they are in politics for the right reasons, time has proven over and over, in the end those same politicians will not resist enriching themselves, given access to the public cash box. And it's always the one's you trust the most who break your heart.
On May 5, 2020, registered agent Justin Hawkins filed the paperwork necessary to incorporate Talitrix, LLC. The product Talitrix would soon market to law enforcement and criminal justice agencies around the country is a sort of high-tech ankle monitor, but in the form of an attractive sports watch, which comes to life when Bluetoothed to a smartphone. The purpose of the Talitrix watch is to communicate continuous bio-metric and GPS data concerning the general state of being and whereabouts of various individuals released "outside the wire" from detention centers associated with agencies purchasing the system. To be clear, there is nothing wrong with that. Under the right circumstances, it might be an idea worth considering.
The patent application for the Talitrix monitoring system is in the name of Mr. Hawkins, but also in the names of Robert Todd Jones and Eric Brice Bennett. Of the three, Mr. Jones is the Georgia House Representative for the 25th District located in a southern part of Forsyth County.
Although the gentlemen referred above are listed as the system’s inventors, and hold the potential patent rights to the Talitrix system, the system itself is designed and produced by a foreign entity, Thundercomm Technology Co., Ltd. Located in Chongqing, in the heart of communist China. But again, that’s all legal and I doubt those facts really shock anyone, at least not these days.
[Yahoo] In a sweeping and forceful speech concluding a four-day trip to Europe, President Joe Biden cast the war in Ukraine on Saturday as part of an ongoing battle for freedom and ended with a blunt call for Russian President Vladimir Putin to be stopped.
"For God's sake, this man cannot remain in power," Biden said during a visit to Warsaw, Poland, in his strongest comments to date about his desire to see Putin gone.
Shortly after the speech, a White House official speaking on the condition of anonymity said Biden was not calling for Putin to be removed from office.
"The president’s point was that Putin cannot be allowed to exercise power over his neighbors or the region," the official said. "He was not discussing Putin’s power in Russia, or regime change."
Biden’s remarks came just a few hours after he bluntly described the Russian leader as "a butcher" while meeting with Ukrainian refugees who had fled to Poland to escape the war in their homeland.
Biden appealed to ordinary Russians, first telling them — "if you’re able to listen" — that "you...are not our enemy."
Biden spoke in the packed courtyard of the Royal Castle in Warsaw where American and Polish flags fluttered in the background and the building was bathed in white, red, blue and yellow lights, the colors of Poland and Ukraine.
He said what they experienced at the hands of invaders in World War II is exactly what is happening to Ukrainians by the Russian military.
"These are not the actions of a great nation," Biden said of the bombings of hospitals, schools and maternity wards. "This war is not worthy of you, the Russian people." Or what? This isn't Iraq where you could bully Saddam out of power. Russia has nukes and WILL use them if they feel they have no more choices or be a rump and subservient power to the West. God we have fucking morons in DC.

Some of the NeverTrumpers who worked overtime to get Joey in there are freaking out now. It would be fun to watch except for the suffering that's being caused here at home.

Despite what WH spokesholes say, it's beginning to sound like this was part part of official transcript and not a one of gaffe by Pudding Head, and is most likely official Junta policy.

As moronic President Harris and Biden are, I don't think these "off-the-cuff" utterances are coincidences.
[NYPOST] President Biden told US troops in Poland Friday that they will witness the bravery of Ukrainians fighting off Russia’s invasion "when you’re there" — making a significant gaffe after he previously said the US must stay out of the European conflict to avoid triggering "World War III."
Biden made the remark while addressing members of the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division after lunching on pizza and posing for selfies with dozens of paratroopers at a mess hall in Rzeszow, southeastern Poland.
"You’re going to see when you’re there, and some of you have been there, you’re gonna see — you’re gonna see women, young people standing in the middle in front of a damned tank just saying, ’I’m not leaving, I’m holding my ground,’" Biden said.
A White House official quickly clarified that Biden wasn’t changing his stance on deploying the military into Ukraine.
"The president has been clear we are not sending US troops to Ukraine and there is no change in that position," a Biden front man told The Post.

Here we go, dragged into a pointless war by a stammering fool over a shithole country against a nuclear-armed fascist country that can blow us to smithereens. What insanity. Fuck this idiot. Fuck his warmongers.

@#7 - Probably was mandatory attendance, but it probably wouldn't be the first time Harris-Biden used trickery to make it looked like there was a strong showing.
I guess Harris was too busy conducting job interviews to fill all of those vacancies on her staff to make the trip.
[IsraelTimes] Legal complaint alleges Eric Zemmour ’distorted history to support his homophobic positions’ by claiming in manifesto that deportations of homosexuals to camps were a ’legend’
French “far-right” presidential candidate Eric Zemmour
...the eminent, contrary Le Figaro columnist and nationalist, anti-migrant public intellectual whose Jewish Berber parents left Algeria for la belle France in the 1950s. He wants to reduce immigration to almost zero, tighten the naturalization process, and expel failed asylum-seekers and illegal immigrants colonists. His big concern is the Great Replacement...
is being targeted with legal action by gay rights groups, who say he denied that homosexuals were rounded up and deported during the Nazi occupation of La Belle La Belle France in World War II.
Six gay rights associations told AFP on Wednesday that their criminal complaint for "denial of crimes against humanity" stemmed from Zemmour’s campaign manifesto, "La Belle La Belle France has not said its final word," published in September.
In it, Zemmour agreed with another politician who claimed that deportations of homosexuals to concentration camps were a "legend."
Zemmour "distorted history to support his homophobic positions," the associations alleged in their complaint.
People close to the candidate retorted that "it is not Zemmour’s words that are cited in the book," and called the legal move a smear attempt ahead of the first round of voting in the presidential election on April 10.
Typical move against those of the non-Left persuasion.
REMIGRATION
Zemmour, 63, has for his part cited past declarations from Jewish associations that deported homosexuals were actually targeted as members of other persecuted categories, like Jews or members of the anti-Nazi resistance.
The candidate has in the past escaped conviction for another complaint of denying crimes against humanity, after he said that Marshal Petain, head of the Nazi vassal state based in Vichy during World War II, had "saved" French Jews.
An appeals court is set to render a new judgment in that case after the presidential vote.
Also Wednesday, Zemmour presented an outline of his budget plans if he were elected, claiming that he could find 20 billion euros ($22 billion) of savings by removing state aid to foreigners from outside the EU.
But the authority responsible for such payouts has said that the total for Europeans and non-Europeans combined was less than half the figure in 2019.
Zemmour’s spending priorities would include defense, internal security, the legal system and health — though his calculations did not include plans announced this week for a "remigration ministry" that he vowed would deport a million people within five years.
The idea of "remigration" is borrowed from white nationalist thinking, in line with Zemmour’s belief in the conspiracy theory of a "great replacement" of white Europeans by immigrants colonists from Africa and the Middle East.

If they all committed to total honesty going forward and publicly executed 3/4 of their staff to show they are serious, I still would not resume any consumption of their product.

I don't consume any MSM news product at all. It's impossible not to see it as you move about the intertubes, but I see it only as a source of cynical amusement, myself.

[NYPOST] Moderate Democratic Sen Joe Manchin announced Friday that he intended to vote to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, all but ensuring Senate Democrats have the votes to elevate the first black woman to the nation’s highest court.
"Senators have a constitutional obligation to advise and consent on a nominee to fill a Supreme Court vacancy and this is a responsibility I take very seriously," Manchin (D-WV) announced via Twitter.
"Just as I have with previous Supreme Court nominees, I met with Judge Jackson and evaluated her qualifications to be a Supreme Court Justice. After meeting with her, considering her record, and closely monitoring her testimony and questioning before the Senate Judiciary Committee this week, I have determined I intend to vote for her nomination to serve on the Supreme Court."
Jackson can be confirmed without a single Republican vote in the 50-50 Senate, since Vice President Kámala Harris Former Oakland mayor Willie Brown's former mistress, now a senatrix from California former 2020 Dem presidential hopeful, and Joe Biden's wing nut... would be able to break a tie in the nominee’s favor. But a single Democratic defection coupled with united GOP opposition would doom the nomination..
