[Breitbart] Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich sees alleged abuses by the House Select Committee and the Department of Justice investigating the January 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol as having consequences.
During an appearance on FNC’s "Sunday Morning Futures," Gingrich suggested those who he said were misusing and abusing the process could "face a real risk of jail" for the laws they had broken during the so-called investigation.
"Well, you have, both with Attorney General Garland and with this select committee on January 6, people who have run amok," he said. "They are breaking the rules. They are going after people in a way which is reminiscent of the British monarchy using closed-door systems that we outlawed deliberately because we’d seen it. We knew what it was like. And they’re running over people’s civil liberties. And what they need to understand is, on January 4 next year, you’re going to have a Republican majority in the House and a Republican majority in the Senate."
"And all these people who’ve been so tough and so mean and so nasty are going to be delivered subpoenas for every document, every conversation, every tweet, every email, because I think it’s clear that this — these are people who are literally just running over the law, pursuing innocent people, causing them to spend thousands and thousands of dollars in legal fees, for no justification," Gingrich continued. "And it’s basically a lynch mob."
"Unfortunately, the attorney general of the United States has joined that lynch mob and is totally misusing the FBI," he added. "And I think, when you have a Republican Congress, this is all going to come crashing down, and the wolves are going to find out that they’re now sheep. And they’re the ones who are, in fact, going to, I think, face a real risk of jail for the kind of laws they are breaking."

Former transport minister Nusrat Ghani told the Sunday Times that when she was demoted in 2020, a government whip said her ``Moslemness'' was ``making colleagues uncomfortable.''
She said she was told ``there were concerns `that I wasn't loyal to the party as I didn't do enough to defend the party against Islamophobia ...the irrational fear that Moslems will act the way they usually do... allegations.'
``It was very clear to me that the whips and No. 10 (Downing St.) were holding me to a higher threshold of loyalty than others because of my background and faith,'' Ghani said.
Chief Whip Mark Spencer said he was the person Ghani was talking about, but strongly denied No, no! Certainly not! her allegation.
``These accusations are completely false and I consider them to be defamatory,'' he wrote on Twitter. ``I have never used those words attributed to me.''
The Conservative Party whips' office said Ghani's claims ``are categorically untrue.''
``The Conservative Party does not tolerate any form of racism or discrimination,'' it said in a statement.
The prime minister's office said Johnson met with Ghani to discuss her concerns in 2020, and invited her to file a formal complaint, but that she didn't do so.
Several Conservative politicians, however, spoke up to support Ghani. Caroline Nokes, who heads Parliament's Women and Equalities Committee, said Ghani's treatment had been ``appalling'' and she was brave to speak out.
Education Secretary Nadhim Zahawi tweeted that Ghani's allegations must be ``investigated properly & racism routed out.'' His tweet ended with the hashtag ``standwithNus.''
When Ghani was made a minister in 2015, her boss, then Transport Secretary Chris Grayling, said it was proof the Conservatives ``were a party of opportunity.'' But some have accused the party of failing to stamp out anti-Moslem prejudice under Johnson, who in 2018 compared women who wear face-covering veils to ``letter boxes.''
Ghani's allegation comes after another Conservative politician, William Wragg, accused party whips of intimidating and blackmailing members of Parliament to ensure they supported the government. Wragg says he is meeting police this week to discuss his claims.
Internal rifts in the Conservative Party have been blown open by allegations that Johnson and his staff held lockdown-flouting parties while Britannia was under coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... restrictions.
A handful of Conservative politicians have called for Johnson to resign. Others are awaiting a report by Sue Gray, a senior civil servant appointed to investigate claims that government staff held late-night soirees, ``bring your own booze'' parties and ``wine time Fridays'' while Britannia was under coronavirus restrictions in 2020 and 2021.
Gray's findings are expected to be published next week. If Gray criticizes Johnson, more Conservative politicians may be emboldened to call for a no-confidence vote in Johnson that could result in his ouster.
[Breitbart] Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer on Sunday revealed how the Biden family have profited from business with individuals "linked to the highest levels of Chinese intelligence."
Schweizer, the author of Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win, said Biden’s son Hunter, while the elder Biden was serving as both vice president and president, was engaged in deals with individuals tied to the highest levels of Chinese intelligence. He called the Biden family’s business dealings "unprecedented."
"One of the most startling things we uncovered is the simple fact that the Biden family, while he was vice president of the United States and continuing when he became president, received some $31 million from Chinese individuals who are linked to the highest levels of Chinese intelligence," Schweizer outlined on Fox News Channel’s Life, Liberty & Levin.
He continued, "And these deals, which we lay out in the book, were carried out by a couple of individuals. One is a guy named Che Feng. Hunter Biden, in the Hunter Biden emails, refers to him as the Super Chairman. That’s kind of his nickname for him, and he says in one email, ’I don’t believe in the lottery anymore, but I believe in the Super Chairman.'"
"His business partner was the vice minister at the ministry for state security," Schweizer added. "He was in charge of, among other things, recruiting foreign nationals to spy for China. He was the head of something called the Number Eight Bureau. It doesn’t get any higher than that. These are the sorts of individuals that were striking deals with Hunter Biden. In this particular case, Che Feng happened to help a $20 million deal be secured. Another individual that helped arrange that deal is a guy named Mr. Zhao. Mr. Zhao helped with that $20 million deal. He also sent $5 million to Hunter Biden, and he sent that money from a very interesting business called Harvest Global."
According to Schweizer, Jiao’s business partner is "the daughter of the former head of the ministry of state security."

Their Chinese partner firm is a shell corporation used by the Chinese military to entrap foreign politicians and then use them to advance China's agenda -- think of the Nevada senator framed by the Corleones in Godfather Pt II.

[Daily Caller] Democratic lobbyist Tony Podesta has earned at least $1 million to lobby the White House on behalf of Huawei, a Chinese technology and telecommunications company blacklisted under the Trump administration.
Podesta, brother of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign chairman John Podesta, received $500,000 from Huawei to lobby the Executive Office of the President between October and December of 2021, according to lobbying disclosures filed late Thursday. Huawei first hired Podesta in July 2021 and paid the long-time Democrat operative $500,000 to lobby the White House from July to September 2021.

The Trump administration placed Huawei on a trade blacklist in May 2019 for allegedly building backdoors in its technology that could be used by China for economic espionage. The U.S. has also taken action to limit Huawei’s access to American semiconductors.
The Biden administration has not indicated it will lift trade restrictions on Huawei, telling CNBC in October 2021 that the company still posed a danger to national security.

[Breitbart] A total of 140 House Republicans and Democrats are lobbying President Joe Biden to cut United States tariffs on billions of dollars worth of China-made imports.
Last month, Breitbart News exclusively reported how Reps. Darin LaHood (R-IL), Jackie Walorski (R-IN), Ron Kind (D-WI), and Rep. Suzan DelBene (D-WA) were courting lawmakers to sign their letter to U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) Katherine Tai — urging her to allow more "made in China" imports to avoid U.S. tariffs.
The Section 301 tariffs on billions of dollars worth of China-made products were first imposed by former President Trump after a decades-long free trade consensus in Washington, D.C., that has eliminated 3.7 million American jobs from the U.S. economy from 2001 to 2018.
Though the Biden administration is set to preserve most of the China tariffs, Tai is currently reviewing more than 500 China-made products that could become excluded from the tariffs.
The letter, now signed by 140 House Republicans and Democrats, includes the signatures of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) as well as Reps. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA), Burgess Owens (R-UT), Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY), Ken Buck (R-CO), Young Kim (R-CA), and Anthony Gonzalez (R-OH), among others.
