His business partner Philip Ho was convicted of money laundering and bribery and sentenced to federal prison.

Their Chinese partner firm is a shell corporation used by the Chinese military to entrap foreign politicians and then use them to advance China's agenda -- think of the Nevada senator framed by the Corleones in Godfather Pt II.

All this was known in October 2020. And our totalitarian joke of a media industry spiked the story and helped a senile muppet attain the WH.
