[Breitbart] Documents reveal that multiple Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) staffers were involved in child sex crimes but never prosecuted.
Obtained by BuzzFeed News via Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuits going all the way back to 2012, the documents reveal that the CIA "amassed credible evidence" of staffers involved in child sex crimes over a 14-year period and pursued no criminal prosecution in an effort to protect sensitive and classified materials.
"Though most of these cases were referred to US attorneys for prosecution, only one of the individuals was ever charged with a crime," noted Buzzfeed News. "Prosecutors sent the rest of the cases back to the CIA to handle internally, meaning few faced any consequences beyond the possible loss of their jobs and security clearances."
"CIA insiders say the agency resists prosecution of its staff for fear the cases will reveal state secrets," the report added.
Often, the employees were fired or had their contracts revoked, as opposed to criminal prosecution for sex crimes that involved children as young as two.
The over 3,000 pages of documents obtained by Buzzfeed News covered a range of internal investigations at the CIA, all of which had names redacted for privacy purposes. Of the 10 cases discovered, five of the alleged perps were fired or resigned, four were referred to a personnel board or the Office of Security, and one was prosecuted in tandem with mishandling classified material.

The victim — a 53-year-old woman — was walking on the platform when the man hit her from behind. When the victim asked him why he struck her, the man responded by making anti-Asian slurs, police said.
The suspect then fled to the other end of the station.
Police said the victim was treated privately for lower back injuries. The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident.
The man was last seen wearing a black jacket, black gloves and a black du-rag.

Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is requiring all schools in the district to adopt new signage in an effort to make restrooms gender-neutral.

[FreeBeacon] The FBI says a genetics testing company with tens of millions of dollars in federal contracts is most likely providing Americans' health data to China.
The agency told Los Angeles County officials last week it had obtained "very concerning information" about Fulgent Genetics, a California-based firm founded by Chinese-American billionaire Ming Hsieh. Los Angeles County sheriff Alex Villanueva said the FBI warned him and other county officials that Fulgent likely shares the health data it collects with the Chinese government.
U.S. officials have expressed concerns over state-sponsored harvesting of genetic data. China has collected DNA samples of Uyghurs, a repressed Muslim minority group, for surveillance purposes. The authoritarian regime is also building massive databases of genetic data from across the globe, which would give China an advantage in developing treatments for future pandemics.
Villanueva called for the county to cancel contracts with Fulgent to test county employees for COVID-19 and to keep track of their vaccination records. He did not say whether the FBI suspects Fulgent of proactively providing the data to China, or whether the company turns it over to comply with Chinese law.

One letter from Chinese diplomats to Indonesia’s foreign ministry clearly told Indonesia to halt drilling at a temporary offshore rig because it was taking place in Chinese territory, according to Muhammad Farhan, an Indonesian politician on parliament’s national security committee, which was briefed on the letter.
"Our reply was very firm, that we are not going to stop the drilling because it is our sovereign right," Farhan told Rooters.
A front man for Indonesia’s foreign ministry said: "Any diplomatic communication between states is private in nature and its content cannot be shared." He declined further comment.
China’s embassy in Indonesia’s capital Jakarta did not respond to a request for comment.
Three other people, who said they were briefed on the matter, confirmed the existence of the letter. Two of those people said China made repeated demands that Indonesia stop drilling.

China is Indonesia’s biggest trade partner and second-largest source of investment, making it a key part of Indonesia’s ambition to become a top-tier economy. Indonesian leaders kept quiet about the matter in order to avoid conflict or a diplomatic spat with China, Farhan and two of the other people who spoke to Rooters said.
Farhan said that China, in a separate letter, also protested against the predominantly land-based Garuda Shield military exercises in August, which took place during the standoff.
The exercises, involving 4,500 troops from the United States and Indonesia, have been a regular event since 2009. This was China’s first protest against them, according to Farhan. "In their formal letter, the Chinese government was expressing their concern about the security stability in the area," he said.
