[REGNUM] The statement of the head of the White House Joe Biden about the consequences of the withdrawal of the American military from Afghanistan is erroneous . On July 8, Alexei Pushkov, Chairman of the Federation Council Commission on Information Policy, wrote about this in his telegram channel .
According to the senator, the head of state assesses the situation in the same way as former US presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush.
"Biden is wrong about Afghanistan. Just as Bush Jr. and Obama, who fought a hopeless war there, were wrong," he said.
In addition, the parliamentarian noted that the previous American president Donald Trump felt differently.
"Trump was not mistaken: he realized long ago that he had to leave, even run, quickly and recklessly," the senator stressed.
At the same time, according to Pushkov, the current head of the White House still follows the plans of his predecessor, but pretends that the situation is under control.
"Trump's plan is now being carried out by Biden. But he is trying to pretend that Afghanistan is not lost yet. Lost" the parliamentarian added.
As reported by IA REGNUM , on July 8, Joe Biden said that the United States has achieved its goals in Afghanistan and is leaving the country after "the longest war . " He added that Afghan government troops are capable of repelling the offensive of the radical Taliban movement (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation).

They should get piles of investment money and build resorts there. Golf courses. Hiking trails. Convention centers.
And then require government employees to go there.
(Hell, basic sanitation would be an impovement.)

[NATION.PK] With one of the world’s youngest and fastest growing populations, Afghanistan is struggling to tap into this immense wealth as dire threats of war force many of its promising youths to flee abroad.Panicked by advancing Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... holy warriors, huge numbers of educated young Afghans have been flocking to the main passport office in the Karta-e-Chahar neighborhood of the capital Kabul.
"I see no future here [in Afghanistan] for myself or my children," Syed Erfan, a young government employee and father of two, told Anadolu Agency while waiting for his turn in the huge queue outside the office.
Officials at the Passport Directorate of the Ministry of Interior Affairs said the main office in Kabul has been overwhelmed with applicants since the US announced its exit strategy from Afghanistan back in May.
"Our capacity is of around 4,000 passports a day, but the applications we are receiving are much more than that," said one of the officials, who wished not to be named as he was not authorized to speak to the media.

[ToloNews] Balkh governor Mohammad Farhad Azimi said on Thursday that of the 5,000 fighters that were pledged by politicians and other influential figures in Balkh as part of the public uprising forces, 1,500 have already been deployed in fighting positions to face the Taliban ...Arabic for students... alongside security forces.
Azimi said that the politicians have not managed to mobilize the entire number of fighters that were pledged to fight the bully boys.
According to Azimi, the National Directorate of Security ...the Afghan national intel agency... (NDS) has prepared the list of those who are expected to fight alongside the Afghan National Security and Defense Force (ANDSF).
The government will equip members of the public uprising force with weapons, and they will get paid 10,000 Afs a month.
"5,000 fighters were mobilized, from which 1,500 were deployed along with security forces. The rest are waiting for equipment and weapons. They will also contribute to pushing back the enemy’s activities in close coordination with the security forces of the Islamic Theocratic Republic of Afghanistan," said Azimi.
Meanwhile, ...back at the precinct house, Sergeant Maloney wasn't buying it. It was just too pat. The whole thing smelled phony, kind of like a dead mackeral but without the scales... the head of the Balkh provincial council said that in the past some elements misused the public uprising forces, and said that the same problem will be repeated if the public uprising forces are not led in the right way.
"One of the key reasons that led to the collapse of the district was that some people pledged to mobilize 100 fighters, but later on 20 of them were used in the right way, the remaining 80 were misused or they weren’t present at the job," said Afzal Hadid, the head of Balkh provincial council.
The mobilization of public uprising forces has raised hopes over efforts to prevent the infiltration of the Taliban in the provinces.
"These fighters should be controlled so they do not get involved in armed robberies, taking Dire Revenge and committing other crimes," said Abdul Hamid Sefwat, the head of Balkh Civil Society Union.
Local officials in Balkh have said that members of public uprising forces have been deployed in the defensive lines around Mazar-e-Sharif city and other districts.
Some commanders of the public uprising forces have said they are ready to participate in the clearance operations in areas under Taliban control if the government permits them to do so.
[ToloNews] US President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. S Joe's wife and daughter weren't killed by a drunk driver. He didn't graduate with three or even two degrees, wasn't in the top half of his law class, and his daddy didn't come home from a hard day's work in the mines and play football with the guys. The NAACP hasn't endorsed him every time he's run.... on Thursday spoke about the situation in Afghanistan, and once again pledged Washington’s long term support for the Afghan people, government and the country’s security forces.
"While we will not stay involved in Afghanistan militarily, our diplomatic and humanitarian work will continue. We’ll continue to support the government of Afghanistan. We will keep providing assistance to the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces," said Biden as quoted by the US State Department.

[KhaamaPress] Human and women’s rights advocates have asked Biden administration to add up to two thousand expedited and additional visas for women and advocated of women’s rights who are prone to danger and threat after US full pullout from Afghanistan.
The current applicants include up to 18,000 translators and interpreters who have applied for Special Immigration Visa (SIV).
US officials have told Rooters that Biden’s administration is considering to grant additional visas to Afghan women politicians, journalists and activists.
Human and Women’s rights groups have told the White House and state department that women had had major achievements during the past two decades and they should be part of any urgent plan for evacuating vulnerable class post full withdrawal.
The groups not only asked for women’s visas but also men and minority-groups who are subject to life-threatening dangers.
Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... in their recent statement about the interpreters who have contributed in military missions of US troops said that they are free to live and will not be targeted as soon as they repent.
Rights groups have told White House that Taliban are targeting women journalists, activists and politicians.
Neither the White House nor State Department have shown green signal for the recommendation made by rights groups.
[KhaamaPress] In a joint seven-article statement published today, both Afghan and the delegation of Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... agreed that the Afghan misery does not have militarily solution but a peaceful and political one.
Afghan delegation led by former vice president Younus Qanuni and the Taliban delegation led by the group’s negotiating team in Doha met in the Iranian capital Tehran.
The intra-afghan guests expressed their gratitude to the hospitality of Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... and applauded its efforts in establishing peace in Afghanistan.
The visiting delegation to Tehran too agreed upon another meet to be held on the issues which need further and elaborate negotiations namely the Islamic system and establishing mechanism for reconciliation.
The Afghan and Taliban delegation strongly denounced attacks causing demolition of residences, schools, masjids and hospitals and targeting civilian people. They unanimously agreed that the culprits destroying facilities of social services should be punished.
The Tehran get-together was too considered rather fruitful and effective and was dubbed as an opportunity for peaceful settlement in Afghanistan.
Iran now became third country after Qatar ...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Non-military support, such as it is, will at least not depend entirely on the Democrat-controlled American Congress. How much of that aid will not flow into the pockets accustomed to much larger largess remains to be seen.

The issue of Afghan interpreters was also part of Johnson’s speech. [LIBYAREVIEW] On Wednesday, Libyan Parliament Speaker Ageela Saleh said that the memorandum between the previous Government of National Accord (GNA) of Fayez al-Sarraj and The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor... is null and void.
In an interview with Greek newspaper Kathimerini, Saleh stressed the need for Ottoman Turkish and other foreign troops to withdraw from Libya. He called for Greek entrepreneurs to invest in the country, noting that the new government will adhere to all its obligations to foreign investors.
Saleh pointed out that the Second Berlin Conference did not bring forward a new solution to the crisis, "we expected more powerful and clear decisions. We do not accept the presence of any foreign military powers or bases in Libya, and neither do the Libyan people," he said.
The Speaker explained that the GNA "was not elected by the Libyan people and never received a vote of confidence from the Parliament. It was an illegal, unconstitutional government, forced upon us by the international community without the consideration of the citizens."
He also called for sanctions to be placed against any party who wishes to cancel or delay the upcoming December elections.

Back into the Shadows? The Future of Kata’ib Hezbollah and Iran’s Other Proxies in Iraq
October 2020, Michael Knights:
Abstract: Kata’ib Hezbollah was Iran’s most favored militant group in Iraq from its formation in the mid-2000s until the death of its founder Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis on January 3, 2020. Yet, the activities and influence of al-Muhandis and KH were not synonymous, as has been shown since his death. KH is still the engine room of anti-U.S. attacks in Iraq, but it is less politically agile and operates in a more hostile counterterrorism environment where deniability and secrecy have become more important again. ...
Huh. I thought that was impossible — the whole point of digital currency being that no thief or government would ever be able to access it.
[IsraelTimes] Benny Gantz orders the seizure of funds in digital wallets raised in appeal by terror group for donations.
The Defense Ministry says it has begun taking control of digital wallets being used by the Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood, terror group that contain virtual currencies from overseas donations.
The idea that those Jew hating donors have contributed so generously to the security of Israel is absolutely delightful.
Defense Minister Benny Gantz approved the seizure of a series of digital wallets on June 30 after a joint operation "uncovered a web of electronic wallets" used by Hamas to raise funds using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, the ministry said.

If a government can seize cryptocurrency then our trustworthy government employees can too.
So why does the DOJ allow the blackmail of US companies?

The currency is secure. its the "exchanges" that are not, and you generally need an exchange to convert it from virtual currency to real-world money. Nobody can tell how much bitcoin or stuff that you have, but they can tell when someone gives you cash, eventually.

[IsraelTimes] Damage assessment finds there was $380 million in physical damage and an additional $190 million in economic losses; Israel called on to upgrade border crossing. Does that include replenishing the rocket supply?
A UN report released Tuesday found that it will cost an initial $485 million to repair the damage caused in the Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage.
