With the amount of California plates showing up in Colorado I’m not sure of how long this will be true. It’s not the people, it is their liberal indoctrination.
[Babylon Bee] WASHINGTON, D.C.—Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has proposed a novel plan for promoting equality in our nation's highways system, which literally has racism built into its DNA. His new plan promises to even things out for people of color by giving each race their own lane.
"Each race will be asked to stay in their lane," Buttigieg said. "The fastest lanes, of course, will go to the most oppressed races, who can't accomplish anything without the white man's help."
Lanes for persons of color will be luxurious wide lanes with no speed limits and no cops, since cops are racist. Lanes for white people will be packed with traffic and terribly maintained, so basically just what they are now in Democrat cities. In fact, Buttigieg says, any roads for white people that are currently in good condition will have cracks, potholes, and other imperfections added to them to ensure equality across the board.
"Everyone will have equal roads," Buttigieg said. "But some are more equal than others -- separate but equal."
At publishing time, Buttigieg had confirmed there would be a special lane for the unvaccinated as well.
[American Thinker] An ex-business partner and I were recently reminiscing about an encounter we had with then Senator Biden at MBNA’s new corporate offices in downtown Wilmington in 1996. (MBNA was then the world’s largest independent credit card issuer.) Biden was running for re-election, so he was glad-handing anyone within reach, and we were, unfortunately, in the line of fire having just left a meeting and walking through the lobby. Flashing a toothy grin, dripping with condescension and insincerity, he grabbed my hand and said, "Good to meet you, hope you’ll vote for me in November. Like your tie."
Fighting the urge to go and wash my hands and thinking of his disastrous 1987 presidential campaign and history of political sleaze, I said to my partner, after Biden had pressed his flesh, "Damn, I hope that oily bastard is never elected President."
The chance meeting at the MBNA building was appropriate as Biden was not only a Senator from Delaware but was so blatantly acting as MBNA’s chief "lobbyist" that he was often referred to as "The Senator from MBNA." In 1996, MBNA hired Joe’s son, Hunter, fresh out of law school, having never worked in finance or banking, as a "senior vice president" making $100,000.00 per year ($168,00.00 in 2021 dollars) plus a substantial signing bonus.
It was after this run-in with Joe Biden that I began to pay more attention to his fabulist tendencies, lack of character and compulsive lying. While his cognitive decline is an ancillary factor in what the American people see today, the reality is that he has always been someone who will do or say anything to advance his personal aspirations. Which has always been more than just mundane financial or material accumulation. Biden has long harbored the dream of being praised in the history books as the next Franklin Roosevelt, the demigod in the pantheon of Democrat party icons. His impatience to achieve that goal had him seriously considering a presidential run in 1980 when he was 37. His first bid for the presidency was in 1987 at 44.
Joe Biden is not an ideologue but a self-obsessed blowhard who is currently promoting extreme leftist ideology only because those policies are now de rigueur in the radicalized left-wing Democrat party and advancing them is the key to the esteem he craves. By stark comparison, during various stages in his 35-year Senate career he was a racist and segregationist, a zealot for tough on crime legislation, a hawk promoting military intervention in a variety of international conflicts and an avowed defender of crony capitalism.
Since he became President, many Americans and journalists in the alternative media have been taken aback by Biden’s penchant to outright lie repeatedly in the course of any speech, pronouncement or press briefing. Throughout his political career, in virtually every speech or answer to a question he has not only trafficked in political obfuscations but repeatedly told overt lies about his life history, legislative matters and his political opponents. He fits the definition of a compulsive liar:
For four years, an influential clique of think tankers, Republican operatives and talking heads claimed that any conservative who supported Donald Trump ...Oh, noze! Not him!... was complicit with a uniquely malevolent presidency. But if Trumpian conservatives are responsible for everything the 45th president was faulted for, then Never Trump should likewise own the evils of the new Biden administration.

"never Trumpers" = individuals with weak minds and no ethical stature.
"democrats" = weak minds, no moral or ethical stature, not individuals but "sheepeol"

[Gateway] I just watched a documentary about horrors of 9/11. You remember that day, don’t you? This year will mark the 20th anniversary of 9/11.
Sept 11, 2001. The day the twin towers of the World Trade Center collapsed in New York City. The day about 3,000 of our fellow Americans died. Most of their bodies were never found. They literally melted and disintegrated.
You do remember, yes? They were someone’s fathers and mothers, husbands and wives, and sons and daughters.
Do you remember all those people jumping from 100 stories up and splattering on sidewalk? I do. I still remember those loud booms. Each boom was a life ending instantly as they splattered on the sidewalk.
Do you remember all those cops and firemen who died trying to protect us? They ran into those burning towers, while normal people ran out. They gave their lives, they made the ultimate sacrifice. Their kids grew up without fathers or mothers.
Watching this documentary made me angry all over again. I felt the pain all over again. And most importantly, it made me realize...

Don't forget the Pentagon and the Big Hole in Pennsylvania, where the bravest United States of America Citizens and traveling Foreigners lost their lives STANDING UP to these savages.
Shouldn't you consider standing up to today's domestic terrorists (?), write your Congresspersons, Governor, State Legislators, County Commissioners or Representatives, Municipal Authorities and demand the Domestic Terrorist be met with Strong Resistance to their conspiracies for unrestricted civil dispuption.

What if the Next 9/11 Terrorist Attack is Just Days Away?
...Oh, but it is. How many days, we know not - but it's coming.
And the FBI and CIA and DOJ will piously sit in the Congressional Theatre and swear upon the heads of their sainted mothers that it was not their fault.
Again.

can they make it to the Capitol Building while Congress is in session?

The Memorial Bridge in D.C. should have been lined (on both sides) ear-to-ear with the heads of the FBI and senior intelligence community soon after 9/11.
What happened? A 'war on terrorism' was started that continues today. A diversion, nothing more. Accountability for those paid to protect us? Not so much.
In case oral hygiene wasn’t important enough already, brushing one’s teeth could help maintain one’s mental — along with their dental — health.
A recent study found a correlation between gum disease and dementia and other brain diseases, the Daily Mail reported. Prior studies had found that bacteria-causing gingivitis can metastasize from the mouth to the brain.
"This is the first study showing an association between the imbalanced bacterial community found under the gumline and a cerebrospinal fluid biomarker of Alzheimer’s disease in cognitively normal older adults," explained Dr. Angela Kamer of the NYU Dentistry School. She authored the brainy study published in Alzheimer’s & Dementia: Diagnosis, Assessment & Disease Monitoring.
Previous studies had established a link between a buildup of amyloid proteins in the cerebral arteries and cognitive decline. However, researchers had yet to pinpoint how that amyloid buildup causes the disease, which they now theorize could occur when gum disease prevents the body from jettisoning these interloping enzymes from the brain.
Researchers attempted to prove the dental-mental wellness connection by taking both gum swabs and cerebrospinal fluid samples from 48 healthy volunteers over 65 years old. People in this age group face a high risk of both dementia and gum disease — a cautionary tale for notoriously dentist-averse millennials.
They then measured their amounts of good and bad oral flora and found that individuals with more beneficial mouth microbes had lower levels of amyloids. In turn, these individuals had a lesser chance of contracting dementia.

Been reading a lot lately about links to dementia; last one was snoring and dementia. The commonality is that the supposed "links" are all age-related. I suspect these are age-related comorbidities, not causes.
Correlation is not causation said someone sometime.

Looking back at the history of medicine & dentistry -- 1800-1910 or so - old timey docs were big on full mouth extractions and full dentures when teeth & gums (consider them a unit) got hopelessly rotten & inflamed. As best I can figure out from what records there are, this was often followed by an increase in the patient's sense of well being.
In my own family, several elders passed that point back in the 1950s and 1960s, and had their own full mouth extraction & fitment for full dentures. Without exception every one of these former dental patients stated their sense of well being improved as soon as their mouths healed, and this persisted for decades afterwards. They also welcomed the fact that they never again needed to see a dentist. Perhaps they needed to see a denturist to adjust the dentures afterward but some of them didn't even need that.
So do consider that trying to be healthy with a mouthful of decay, infection and inflammation might just be futile.

Sorry. My dad was borderline OCD and brushing his teeth regularly was definitely happening. It's genetic, and if it's in your family history you had better plan accordingly.

[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Has Leb ...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... died? Has it lost the reasons for its existence after it lost its role? Is there a real opportunity to renovate Lebanon that is built on coexistence, balance and openness or are we heading towards another Lebanon, one that bears the scars of its wars and the wars of other in it and against it?
Can the angry Lebanese youths create unity for a country that has been fragile from the moment it was born? Can the Lebanese house be renovated and can its windows and doors be respected so that they are no longer open to all sorts of violations or suicidal dreams?
