She only has one reactionary song to sing, but by gum she will sing it — loudly and tunelessly — at every opportunity.
[Free Beacon] Headlining a diversity and inclusion webinar hosted by an elite California K-12 preparatory school on Wednesday, Marxist Angela Davis called on students at the $47,300 a year prep school to "dismantle capitalism."
Davis, a militant black power activist and former Communist Party member,
...she sure doesn’t act like a former member...
headlined the final session of the Head-Royce School's 2021 CommunityEd series.
"Ultimately I think we're going to have to dismantle capitalism if we really want to move in a progressive direction, if we want our children and children's children and their children to begin to move along a trajectory that is described by freedom," she said.
“Slavery is freedom, Comrades! Let us march, shoulder to shoulder, into the Glorious Communist Future that looks like hell on Earth to the masses we’ll drop off at the gulags as we march on our way to glory.”
Davis has long been accused of anti-Semitism, beginning with her support for the Soviet Union's oppression of Jewish dissidents. She also backs the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement.
Jew hate, white hate, capitalist hate... the woman is an equal opportunity hater, just like The Party demands.
Head-Royce spokeswoman Jennifer Beeson told the Washington Free Beacon that the school considered Davis's record before inviting her to speak, but ultimately felt that the lecture would be a good venue for students "to focus on her activism."
[The Moscow Times] Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Thursday warned that anti-white racism might be building in the United States and said that political correctness "taken to the extreme" would have lamentable consequences.
Wasn’t political correctness a Communist invention? Control the vocabulary and you control what people can think — that kind of thing. Your President Putin must be so proud of his KGB predecessors.
In an interview with political scientists broadcast on national television, Moscow's top diplomat said Russia had long supported a worldwide trend that "everyone wants to get rid of racism."
"We were pioneers of the movement promoting equal rights of people of any skin color," he said.
But Lavrov stressed it was important "not to switch to the other extreme which we saw during the 'BLM' (Black Lives Matter) events and the aggression against white people, white U.S. citizens."
Founded in the United States in 2013, Black Lives Matter is a movement which became a rallying cry after the killing by U.S. police of an unarmed black man, George Floyd, last May.
The movement has led to a major debate about race, rights of people of color and the toppling of statues of figures linked to slavery or colonization in countries including the United States and the United Kingdom.
Lavrov accused the United States of seeking to spread what he called "a cultural revolution" around the world.
"They have colossal possibilities for it," he said in the interview.
"Hollywood is now also changing its rules so that everything reflects the diversity of modern society," he said, calling that "a form of censorship."
"I've seen Black people play in Shakespeare's comedies. Only I don't know when there will be a white Othello," Lavrov said.
"You see this is absurd. Political correctness taken to the point of absurdity will not end well."
[Washington Examiner] The economy beat expectations by adding 916,000 new jobs in March while the unemployment rate dropped to 6% as businesses recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday.
Forecasters had anticipated some 647,000 new nonfarm payroll jobs.
Friday's numbers were a "huge upside surprise," said Mark Hamrick, the senior economic analyst for Bankrate.com.
"In the coming months, we can expect more jobs added, and the headline unemployment rate should sink into the 5% range," he said.
In its Friday release, the Bureau of Labor Statistics revised up its January and February estimates by 156,000 total jobs.
Demand for labor has increased as stores, restaurants, and other businesses keep emerging from the yearlong slump brought on by pandemic restrictions. More and more people are getting vaccinated for COVID-19, the major factor at play in how quickly the economy can regain its pre-pandemic footing.
The growth also comes as the U.S. economy feels the effects of President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package, which provided many consumers eager to venture out of their homes with $1,400 stimulus checks to spend. The American Rescue Plan Act was the third round of stimulus money that went out to consumers, and many who saved the money from the previous stimulus checks may now be looking to go out and spend. Biden is seeking now to pass a $2 trillion infrastructure plan.

Remember we are in Obama II. That means those who've been unemployed for more the 'x' months are dropped from the calculation. Said calculations will be 'readjusted' at a later date. No analysis of where the jobs are growing.

Pent up demand is a thing. Even economists acknowledge that it exists, is real and its effects can be seen, sometimes even measured.

And Biden's* approval rating is 60%.
And here I thought the economy was totally destroyed by lockdowns & masks - except in South Dakota, of course.
You understand this is because states are shoving lockdown rules. Governess Catlady tried to extend 'emergency procedures' and our State Congress said Up Yours.
And that by 'new jobs', they mean the new federal positions created by these multi-$trillion tax dollar initiatives for things like illegal immigrant babysitter and military diversity officer or immigrant road crew with the quality return on investment necessary to need to do it again in 2 years.
At what production level does a federal employee make enough money to help pay off the federal debt?
This is all -In Spite Of- calls for lockdown, and mentions nothing of debt or inflation pace vs. interest rates, or the devaluation of the US Dollar compared to savings value 2019; that is a $401K having the value of $380k 2019 Dollars (as example).
It would not surprise me, however, that certain private sector jobs were created in the Political Advisor category and certain staff positions at places like The French Laundry, and now immigrant ward heeler.
[Babylon Bee] U.S.—The Biden Administration is hard at work putting together a vaccine passport program that will help society more effectively separate the good vaccinated people from the bad, gross, scary unvaccinated ones. To make things super convenient, vaccinated individuals will be given the opportunity to tattoo the passport's 2D barcode on their hand or forehead.
"What a great idea!" said Jibby Tillygoober, local vaccinated man. "Now everyone will know I'm completely safe to be around and it's virtually impossible for me to get them sick! Wow! I'm such a good person!"
Those who refuse the vaccine and passport will be prohibited from buying or selling anything. They will also be barred from select businesses such as restaurants, planes, gas stations, banks, grocery stores, and most Chuck E. Cheese locations. They will also be cast out of the city limits and stoned to death, and their homes and crops burned to the ground for good measure.
In spite of some naysayers, Biden defended the vaccine passport program, saying: "Now to go around... well, anyway, uh-- real simple for the kiddos in the, uh, how-- ahhh, I shouldn't say that. So, gotta go now!"

I got a nice card, with printed ID numbers from the vial at my hosp[ital. The wife went to the County site, outdoors and gat a similar card, but all handwritten. Not so "official" as mine.
Either would be idiotically easy to forge.

Why not your entire medical history? Plus SSN, DOB and credit card numbers?
[American Thinker] On Thursday, Dan Bongino urged his audience to watch or just listen to a video of Yuri Bezmenov, a KGB defector to Canada, who came to love America and tried to warn Americans about the KGB's plans. Listening to him is eerie because he spelled out in detail exactly what the Soviet Union was doing — it wasn't planning to take America down through the military. Instead, it intended to destroy America from within by infiltrating the education system, three generations of young people to hate this country and each other and then watching them go forth and plant the seeds of self-loathing throughout the nation.
When it came to understanding how the Soviet Union operated, Bezmenov was the real deal. His father was a high-ranking army officer, so Bezmenov was raised inside the system. He went to KGB schools and worked for the KGB for a decade until he defected to the West, eventually landing in Canada.
In the 1980s, Bezmenov was able to move to Los Angeles, where he lived for five years. It was in L.A., in 1984 or 1985, that he gave an interview to G. Edward Griffin, a conservative writer and thinker. During the interview, Bezmenov explained that the Soviet Union was not interested in fighting America. It was interested, instead, in co-opting it through psychological warfare. It is that interview that you'll see below.

Toward the end he says we must force our government to stop aiding communism by denying them credit, technology, etc. This is exactly what Reagan did to the Soviet Union and it worked. No such luck these days with China and that is truly frightening.

[JACC] "Potency problems are common in older men, and now our study also shows that PDE5 inhibitors may protect against heart attack and prolong life," stated lead author Martin Holzmann of the Karolinska Institute. "The protection was dose-dependent, so that the more frequent the dose of PDE5 inhibitor, the lower the risk."
Holzmann and his research team suggest men who have already sustained a heart attack and take Viagra or Cialis in tablet form showed signs of prolonged life expectancy and a decrease against new infarctions and heart failure.
The study included 16,548 Swedish men who had both erectile dysfunction and heart disease. About 2,000 of the test subjects received alprostadil and the remaining Viagra.
Holzmann said, "PDE5 inhibitor may protect against heart attack and prolong life."
So erectile dysfunction could be an early sign of cardiovascular disease, and the possible treatment to promote longer lifespans in older men could be with Viagra or Cialis. Who would have ever thought?

PDE5 inhibitors were developed for treating cardiac disease. It didn't relieve chest pain as planned, however test subjects reported getting erections when taking the medications.

As I recall, the thing was invented as a heart disease supplement. Er3ctile function was an unexpected — and profitable — side effect of the treatment.

Somewhat related: the widely used drug metformin has been implicated in possibly having cancer preventative and life prolonging side effects. It is very frequently used in trials of new drugs to control type II diabetes. Those drug trials routinely track death rates, causes of death & new cancers in both controls and test subjects.
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Tehran presented its documents to Beijing, a significant step that resembles a strategic asylum request that aims to secure an additional 25 years for the regime, now protected by a new Chinese wall. The regime believes that this will allow it to stay in power without the need for internal changes or external concessions, as it considers that the agreement with China requires the preservation of the regime structure and decision-making hierarchy to safeguard its implementation in the long run.
The decision to resort to China came only after the Iranians became convinced of two things: first, the bet on Washington had been lost after Tehran was shocked by President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. We get to suffer the consequences... ’s administration. As for the second, it is the need to save the regime and end its plight. The agreement, in its geopolitical dimension, puts Tehran behind China’s wall. Internally, it is erecting a fence that protects the regime from the winds of change that may blow on the inside.
