Tina Knowles Lawson urges Vogue to hire more black photographers

[PAGESIX] Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles Lawson, is the latest insider to demand that Anna Wintour hire more people of color at Vogue.
'Cuz people of color take the best pitchers.
Lawson, 66, posted a picture of British Vogue editor Edward Enninful on Instagram Monday night to congratulate him on the cover of the magazine’s September issue, which features 20 activists from around the world, including Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors, professor Angela Davis and model Joan Smalls.

#1 We have had auto focus and auto exposure for some time now. AI is beginning to give even cheap phone cameras the ability to center people in an image, detect facial expressions and make images with special artistic effects built in.

It's getting to where a baboon could take an acceptable picture.

#2 There have been a lot of exceptional Black photographers over the years. Gordon Parks, Ernest Withers and Carrie Mae Weems spring to mind.

They usually just chose images that are actually interesting to shoot, however.
