(MSN) Representative Alexandria "Boom-Boom"
Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) on Friday urged the New York State legislature to open an investigation into sexual harassment allegations against Governor Andrew Cuomo brought by his former staffer, Lindsey Boylan. The progressive congresswoman told reporters that survivors "deserve to be heard" and noted that the "process for hearing this allegation falls squarely in the state legislature."
Meanwhile, New York attorney general Letitia James is reportedly reviewing a letter from state Republicans who have also called for an investigation into the allegations against the governor, according to Fox News.
Lindsey Boylan, the former deputy secretary for economic development and special adviser to Cuomo, on Wednesday published an essay detailing alleged sexual harassment she endured while working for the governor, including unwanted kissing and touching.
She wrote in the essay that Cuomo, with the help of top female aides, "created a culture within his administration where sexual harassment and bullying is so pervasive that it is not only condoned but expected."
She also detailed an increasingly uncomfortable relationship she developed with the governor, in which he sought her out and set up one-on-one meetings with her.
Boylan recounted a flight she shared with the governor from an event in October 2017 in which Cuomo allegedly said, "Let’s play strip poker."
On another occasion, Boylan says the pair met one-on-one for a briefing when Cuomo allegedly kissed her.
"We were in his New York City office on Third Avenue," she writes. "As I got up to leave and walk toward an open door, he stepped in front of me and kissed me on the lips. I was in shock, but I kept walking."

Mentally of 12 year olds on both sides of the issue; the devolution of governance to a 7th grade level, few signs of adult supervision anywhere on the state or national level.

AOC was on Biden's case about the sexual harassment allegations against him last year until she suddenly got reallllllll quiet about it, not long before she became his Green Energy czar or some idiotic title.

[AG] While Republican lawmakers in the state of Georgia have introduced numerous bills aimed at targeting voter fraud and improving election integrity, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R-Ga.) has not yet chosen to support any of them, as reported by The Hill. *SPIT* He's no Republican by his actions
In a tweet on Wednesday, Raffensperger announced that "once we see something that prioritizes the security and accessibility of elections, we’ll throw in support." He falsely accused some of the bills of being "reactionary to a three month disinformation campaign that could have been prevented," without explaining what exactly constituted such "disinformation."
Several of the bills have already passed through at least one chamber of the Georgia legislature. One such bill that has passed in the state senate would require all voters to present either a driver’s license number, a state identification card number, or a photocopy of some other approved form of identification in order to be allowed to cast an absentee ballot. Another bill, which has been approved by a state senate subcommittee, would force voters to provide a legitimate reason for voting by absentee ballot rather than in-person.
The swath of new bills is in response to widespread allegations, backed by credible evidence, of voter fraud in the state in last November’s elections. On the night of the presidential election, President Donald Trump held a commanding lead in the initial returns of votes, before Joe Biden suddenly and suspiciously gained a lead in the following weeks. Georgia had been a reliably Republican state for decades, and all of its neighbors — including Florida to the south — voted much more strongly for President Trump than the Peach State.
Surveillance footage from at least one polling station in Atlanta showed poll workers ushering all other observers, including Republicans, out of the building before suddenly wheeling out massive suitcases full of ballots that had been hidden under the table. Such fraud is expected to have played a role in not only the presidential election, but also in the two Senate runoff elections in January, which were both narrowly won by the Democrats. Raffensperger, along with Governor Brian Kemp (R-Ga.), faced widespread criticism from Republicans, including President Trump, for failing to adequately tackle the fraud as it was taking place.

Remember when Raffensperger (Blue-Rhino) said. He would reduce government bureaucracy, support voter ID laws and push for verifiable paper ballots when Georgia replaces its electronic voting machines.?
Come his re-election.... We must remember his failure to uphold the VOTE.

A 5500+ Page Bill loaded from Heaven to Hell with 100's of $$$ Billions in unrelated hidden pay outs questionable causes.
Only about $480 Billion (less than a 1/3) is going to the people. An likely a few $$ 100 Billion of that will end up in NON-Citizens, Liberal leaning Political Special Interest Groups, Subversive Action Socialist fronts and even scammers hands.
[AnNahar] A key U.S. Senate official ruled Thursday that President Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden ...Candidate for president in 2020. When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened.'... 's $15 per hour minimum wage measure cannot be included in the huge Covid relief bill as written, imperiling Democratic efforts to fulfill a progressive priority.
[NYPOST] Democrats’ hot new idea for responsible dialogue is to muscle cable and satellite providers to drop Fox News and other outlets they dislike. In the runup to a House hearing this week, Reps. Anna Eshoo ...Democratic Congresswomen-for-Life from Caliphornia, representing Silicon Valley. She began her career as chairman of the San Mateo Democratic Party in 1978, and was first elected to Congress in 1993. When she leaves she'll probably be carried out... and Jerry McNerney (both D-Calif.) sent out letters to a dozen providers to silence conservative channels, demanding to know the "ethical or moral principles" behind "disseminating misinformation to millions."
Federal Communications Commissioner Brendan Carr called out the "concerted effort by Democrats to drive political dissent from the political square."
Indeed: At the actual hearing, the subcommittee chief, Rep. Mike Doyle (D-Pa.) gave the real agenda away: "More free speech just isn’t winning the day over the kind of speech that we’re concerned about."
Sadly, this kind of intimidation works. As lefty Matt Taibbi notes, the last Democratic push for censorship got Facebook and Twitter to go along, with results like their blackout of The Post’s pre-election Hunter Biden scoops.
The government doesn’t have to actually ban speech by law (in violation of the First Amendment) when politicians simply can threaten the private sector into doing their will.
Too bad Taibbi was one of only a few lonely voices on the left to call out this concerted assault on basic democratic freedoms.

Quit calling them Democrats. They have no problem calling you white supremacists. Call'm Commies or Socialist, then the idea of authoritarianism is not as hidden.

Centralization and concentration of power coupled with the belief and actions that the masses exist for the programs of those ruling pretty much covers everything that is the Left with all the "isms". It's like an athletic league, they may wear different uniforms, but they all play the same game.

Socialists of the Franklin Roosevelt era called themselves Democrats to appeal to stupid voters in the South. It worked and they still call it the Democrat party to this day.

OK, look. Here's the deal: Joe Stalin gave communism a bad name so now they call themselves Democrats.

All if ‘em are totalitarians of one sort or another. The details don’t really matter.
[NYPOST] A new year, a new president, a return of an old problem: unaccompanied children crossing the border in droves.
Thousands of children — usually older teens, 16 or 17, but Border Patrol agents report increasing numbers of kids younger than 13 — are arriving each month from Central America.
On Thursday, a Customs and Border Protection staffer reportedly told top Biden administration officials to expect a peak of 13,000 unaccompanied minors to cross the border in May — the highest level ever.
"We’re seeing the highest February numbers [that] we’ve ever seen in the history of the [Unaccompanied Alien Child] program," a Department of Health and Human Services official told Axios.
That’s right: a crisis worse than the one that brought the "kids in cages" backlash under President Donald Trump ...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons...... , and the earlier crises that prompted the building of those "cages" under President Barack Obama I am the change that you seek... And it’s a crisis that we and others warned would come, as soon as President Biden started reversing every Trump border policy, even those clearly responsible for producing historic lows in illegal crossers, and returning to Obama policies that first triggered the unprecedented waves of children crossing without family.
Now Biden’s having to reopen shelters to house the kids until the feds can figure out what to do with them — shelters that his usual allies denounced as horrors in the Trump years. Yet, says White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki ...a valley girl who woke up one morning and found she was spokeswoman for the U.S. Department of State under Obama... , "There are very few good options here, and we chose the one we thought is best."
That’s only because her boss already rejected the option of trying to ensure they don’t come here in the first place.
[NYPOST] Paul Manafort, ex-campaign manager for former President Trump, will keep nearly $20 million worth of New York and Hamptons real estate, a federal judge ruled Friday.Manafort, who was convicted of a massive fraud scheme tied to his work as a political consultant in Ukraine, was pardoned by Trump during his last days in office in December.
The ruling in US District Court in Washington, D.C., dismisses a 2018 forfeiture action against Manafort, and will allow him to hold on to his sprawling 10-bedroom Water Mill estate, which features a swimming pool, putting green and tennis court. He will also keep a Brooklyn brownstone, valued at $4 million, and a $3.5 million Chinatown apartment, according to court papers.
Manafort, 71, had been sentenced to more than seven years in prison for tax fraud and witness tampering. He was released last year to serve out the remainder of his sentence at home because of the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... . He was convicted in 2018 in an investigation led by special prosecutor Robert Mueller into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.
In addition to the real estate, Manafort will hold on to a savings account with an undisclosed balance, according to court filings.
In his $22 million plea deal with Mueller, Manafort had agreed to forfeit a total of five properties, his life insurance and savings account. Manafort had been forced to give up a 1,500-square foot apartment on the 43rd floor of Trump Tower. US Marshals had also put a SoHo loft Manafort owned at 29 Howard St on the market for $3.66 million.
Manafort had transferred his 4,000-square foot Palm Beach mansion to his wife Kathleen for $10 following his plea deal with Mueller in 2018.
[NYPOST] Former President Donald Trump ...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US... has taken his first swipe at one of the Republican dissidents who voted to impeach him.
Trump issued a warm endorsement Friday for Max Miller, 32, a former White House aide and campaign official who plans to primary two-term GOP Rep. Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio. Gonzalez was one of 10 GOP representatives who joined the Democrats’ second impeachment effort in January.
"Current Rep. Anthony Gonzalez should not be representing the people of the 16th district because he does not represent their interest or their heart," Trump wrote in an email blast to followers.
The statement made good on Trump’s Feb. 16 threat to target congressional Republicans who have crossed him — an effort that could solidify his hold on the party, even after he lost the presidency.
"We want brilliant, strong, thoughtful, and compassionate leadership," Trump wrote in that scathing attack on Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and other GOP contrarians.
