[Townhall] President Biden's nominee to lead the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Neera Tanden, saw another setback to her confirmation on Monday. GOP Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) will oppose Tanden's nomination, which already faced a steep approval challenge. Romney joins GOP Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) and Democrat Senator Joe Manchin (R-WV), all of whom are viewed as "swing votes," in opposing her confirmation. Tanden's nomination is plagued by her past statements about GOP lawmakers on Twitter, which she has since deleted, despite committing to civility and transparency.

[Breitbart] Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) will back Merrick Garland’s nomination to run President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice.
“I do,” McConnell replied when asked by Politico whether he supports Garland for attorney general.
McConnell opted against considering Garland’s 2016 nomination by then-President Barack Obama for the U.S. Supreme Court following the sudden death of Justice Antonin Scalia.
Yes, Michael Steele was chairman of the RNC a decade ago, but in recent years he has become a political analyst for MSNBC, advertising spokesman for the infamous Lincoln Project, and endorsed Joe Biden for president. He hasn’t been anywhere near the Republican Party’s door for a long time.

‘There’s the door,’ ex-RNC chairman says to Republicans joining Trump partyhttps://t.co/cKPsDV6MOp

PREDICTION
The year is now 2022 and Michael Steele was chairman of the RNC. Because the RNC figured out that 76 million REAL Votes really do matter.

Word is Perdue reversed course on running for Senate again (after filing paperwork to run) after an "unsatisfactory" phone call with Trump. So I guess the caterwauling about the GOP "moving on" from Trump is just so much noise and wishful thinking by some.

Mr. Steele was RNC chairman 2009-2011. It has been a decade since Republicans were interested in what he had to say, but the propagandists at Iran PressTV can’t be expected to know that.
Reince Priebus took over in January 2011, running things until 2017 and starting outreach programs to young people and minorities. In 2017 Ronna Romney McDaniel (yes, she is Senator Mitt’s niece, which must lend spice to his bitterness) led the RNC into its current Trump-support territory, aided since 2019 by co-chair Thomas Hicks Jr., who came over from the Trump campaign.
[Fox News] BLUF Fauci on Sunday declined to say on CNN that grandparents who are fully vaccinated could see their grandchildren, saying "I don't want to be making a recommendation now on public TV. I would want to sit down with the team, take a look at that." A measured, scientific response.
That prompted a rant from Meghan McCain on "The View."
"I was very frustrated when I saw this clip," she said. "The fact that Dr. Fauci is going on CNN and he can't tell me if I get the vaccine, I'll be able to have dinner with my family... It's terribly inconsistent messaging and it continues to be inconsistent messaging." Meggie Moo is frustrated because St. Fauci is not living up to her personal expectations.
Fauci answered some of that criticism on CNN Tuesday. Meggie was previously a full-throated fan of St. Fauci. Screw her too
"If I'm fully vaccinated and my daughter comes in the house and she's fully vaccinated ... common sense tells you that in fact you don't have to be as stringent," Fauci said. But, he added, "we want to get firm recommendations from the CDC" on what people can and cannot do when they are vaccinated.

Wife and I canceled our appointment for the vaccine. She can't possibly pass the requirements
outlined in the "Prevaccination checklist for Covid-19 Vaccines" issued by the CDC.

The cadres on The View Spew, who clapped like monkeys whenever meggie Moo slandered Donald Trump, now want her fired, exiled, cancelled for saying "mean things" about St. Fauxi.

Every time I look at him in a photo, its like he's
smirking at us...
I'd bet even money I am not the only one thinking Fauci could be saying to his buddies:
"I bet I could get this bunch of idiots to wear 3 masks and bend over for a C-19 Test."

I go once a week to this bar here in Mario's estate ..if you are entering, leaving, standing talking to someone that's sitting or going to the john, you have to wear your mask..yet, when you are sitting down at the bar, or small tables, you could be tonguing whoever is next to you and the inspectors won't say anything..there are dividers but sometimes there are 4 customers in a row without one...bartender told me last week that they have come a few times already..bar is still open..now, where is the logic in that?

[EUTimes] Incumbent US president was previously the one who said during the August 2019 town hall meeting in Iowa that "poor kids" were just as intelligent as "white kids" — the phrase that has sparked a lot of questions among observers.
It was probably just a gaffe when Joe Biden used a slur during his video appearance at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday. But many who analysed his speech were left uncomfortable after hearing a problematic N-word from the Democrat president.
Toward the end of Biden’s 18-minute speech viewers heard:
"Look, the range of challenges Europe and the United States must take on together is broad and complex. I am eager to hear, nig*er here next from my good friends and outstanding leaders such as [the German Chancellor Angela] Merkel about her thoughts and the way forward."
As the moment was pointed out by journalists, a lot of media users felt awkward. Some suggested that the gaffe was a result of Biden’s unfortunate attempt to repeat "eager to hear" one more time or simply a "mental typo" of which he has had many in the past.
But others were pretty confident that the lapse was unpardonable: after all, what would happen if it had been ex-Republican president Donald Trump who made the mistake?
