[ToloNews] The Rooters report quoting anonymous sources saying international forces will stay in Afghanistan beyond the May deadline has drawn responses from official NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A collection of multinational and multilingual and multicultural armed forces, all of differing capabilities, working toward a common goal by pulling in different directions... spokespeople, analysts and the Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... .
The Taliban said that they will continue "defending the country" if foreign forces remain beyond the May deadline that has been set up based on a deal the group signed with the United States last year.
Quoting four senior NATO officials, Rooters reported on Sunday that international troops plan to stay in Afghanistan beyond the May deadline envisaged by the Taliban’s deal with the United States.
The Taliban also reacted to a joint statement by the European Union ...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing... and other Afghan allies, including the United States, calling for an end of violence, especially assassinations. The group said that the group will continue defending "the values, the soil, the country and their rights" if the US-Taliban deal is not implemented.
[AnNahar] Libyan delegates meet Monday for UN-backed talks in Geneva to choose a new temporary executive to lead the war-scarred country through a transition until scheduled December elections.
The 75 participants at the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum have until Friday to select a prime minister and a three-member presidency council from a list of 45 candidates, Libya's UN mission UNSMIL said in a statement.

The Ottoman Turkish Defence Ministry explained in a statement that the training sessions held in Konya, were part of the military agreements signed with the GNA.
"Air Defense Weapon Systems Training was provided to twenty personnel of the Libyan Army who had come to The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire... as part of the military training, assistance, and advice agreement," the statement said.
The statement noted that the trainees returned to Libya on Sunday, after completing their training sessions.
In December 2019, Turkey signed two MoUs on defence and gas drilling in the Mediterranean with the GNA. Ankara has provided weapons, military training, and foreign mercenaries to the GNA. Reports indicated that Turkey has transferred more than 18,000 mercenaries from Syria to western Libya.

Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... ranked 50th globally in the Crime Index’s classification for cities, the second-highest in the Arab world, after Damascus was given first place.
The city of Tripoli was given a rating of 64.27, due to high levels of crime and insecurity. It is currently controlled by the Government of National Accord (GNA).
The GNA is Turkey’s client, for which it pays through the nose with Moammar Khadaffy’s gold.
The Crime Prevalence Index aims to assess the general level of crime in 135 countries around the world. The crime index is based on several criteria; such as murder, robbery, and rape.

And once it passes, y’all will have to find the strength to enforce it, and to rid the country of those many colonists who refuse to abide by any code but that of jihad, whether of the sword or otherwise.
[AP] French lawmakers tackle a bill on Monday to dig up radical Islam by its roots in the country, beliefs that authorities maintain are creeping into public services, associations, some schools and online with the goal of undermining national values.
The bill is broad and controversial, with 1,700 proposed amendments, and guarantees heated debate for the next two weeks in the lower house.
It reflects a priority for President Emmanuel Macron, who in an October speech painted a dark picture of a perverse version of Islam, France’s No.2 religion, quietly making inroads and creating a "counter society."
Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin, a right-leaning member of Macron’s centrist party, took up the mission with zeal. Darmanin wrote a short book to be released in days, "Manifesto for Secularism," a fundamental value of France that the bill he sponsored is meant to protect.
"Islamism is a Trojan horse hiding the fragmentation bomb of our society," Darmanin wrote, according to excerpts from the daily Le Figaro. "In the face of such a dangerous and insidious enemy, which we know is far from the religion of the prophet (of Islam), it is normal that public officials take unprecedented measures."
Multiple terrorist attacks in France by Islamist extremists provide a backdrop for the bill, even if recent attacks were committed by outsiders.
The text applies to all religions but some Muslims say the legislation once again points the finger at Islam.
Other critics say the bill covers ground already addressed in current laws while far-right leader Marine Le Pen says the bill doesn’t go far enough or even name the enemy: radical Islam.
In ways small and large, the bill seeks oversite in the functioning of associations and mosques, including foreign financing, aiming plug up entry points for Islamist ideology in the lives of Muslims.

[Facebook Post] Olympia PD is responding to the Red Lion Downtown (the old Governor Hotel) for a report of a disorderly group of protesters. Some are reportedly entering the establishment and attempting to “take over the front desk”. The staff are being advised to shelter in place while OPD mounts a response.
We do not have additional details on what the group is protesting.
12:45 pm - There has been no additional talk on the scanner about this incident. We have no further details.
1:30 pm - We are attaching a news release from a group called “Oly Housing Now”. We have no connection to this group, we are sharing the information as directly as it was provided.
This sounds like the latest thrust of Antifa/BLM action in an Antifa/BLM area of operations.

The train drives ever closer to the final station, when Sultan Erdogan I’s neo-Ottoman proto-empire will be achieved.
[AnNahar] President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First ...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really more important... said on Monday that it may be time for The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund... to adopt a new constitution, feeding speculation that he could seek a way to extend his rule.
Erdogan, 66, has governed Turkey as prime minister or president since 2002, cementing his control over the nation of 83 million people and surviving a failed coup.
He pushed through changes to the constitution in 2017 that created an executive presidency and abolished the premiership.
He then won the 2018 presidential election, the first of two potential five-year terms under the revised rules.
Turkey is scheduled to hold parliamentary and presidential elections in June 2023, meaning that Erdogan's rule would have to end by 2028 if he were re-elected. Riiiiight. Raise your hand if you believe that. Beuller? Beuller?
But after chairing a four-hour cabinet meeting, the president raised the idea of writing a brand new constitution to replace one that Turkey has been using since 1982. It was drafted following a military coup.
"It is clear that the source of Turkey's problems is that constitutions have always been written by putschists," Erdogan said in nationally televised remarks.
"It may be time for Turkey to reopen the debate about a new constitution," he said. "If we reach a common understanding with our (ruling coalition) partners, we may take action for a new constitution in the future."
Erdogan's AK Party is allied in parliament with ultranationalist MHP.
Or Nationalist Movement Party, when their mothers are particularly angry...
Erdogan added that the drafting of the new constitution "would have to be done in a transparent manner and the agreed upon text would have to be submitted to the will of the people".
- ERODING SUPPORT -
Erdogan has never lost an election, but his popularity has been waning since he unleashed a sweeping crackdown after the failed coup in 2016.
His jailing of political opponents and assault on civil liberties have been accompanied by economic problems that analysts blame on financial mismanagement.
The Ottoman Turkish lira has fallen sharply since 2018, wiping out people's savings and undermining his support among working class voters who form a part of Erdogan's political base.
Turkey's political opposition has been pushing Erdogan to call a snap election, arguing that he has lost the public's trust.
Soner Cagaptay, Turkey program director at the Washington Institute, said Erdogan's comments were his "first admission that he may not win Turkey’s next elections held under the new executive-style presidential system".
"His likely next step: divide his opposition through culture wars along left-right lines," Cagaptay said in a tweet.
"Turkey is a right-wing dominated country (where Erdogan will) try to build a new majority."
Two more weeks as of last Friday, with the hope of making it six months, is better than a swift kick in the teeth. We had the original order here.
[EpochTimes] An order blocking President Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden ...Candidate for president in 2020. Joe's wife and daughter weren't killed by a drunk driver. He didn't graduate with three or even two degrees, wasn't in the top half of his law class, and his daddy didn't come home from a hard day's work in the mines and play football with the guys. The NAACP hasn't endorsed him every time he's run. If you believe Tara Reade you probably shouldn't vote for him.... ’s administration from its attempted deportation pause will be extended, a federal judge said during a hearing Friday.
U.S. District Judge Drew Tipton, a Trump nominee, said he plans to extend the order by two weeks, effectively doubling its time.
The additional weeks are required so the case can be reviewed properly, he said during a hearing, according to the Austin-American Statesman.
The extension wasn’t on the court docket as of Saturday morning.
Tipton said he wants to hear more about an agreement reached by the Trump administration and Texas officials late last year that forces the federal government to give Texas 180 days notice before changing immigration enforcement in the state. He also wants to receive information about whether the proposed deportation pause would cause convicts or people accused of serious crimes to go free.
The case was brought by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a Republican. He argued the attempt to pause most deportations "ignored basic constitutional principles and violated its written pledge to work cooperatively with the State of Texas to address shared immigration enforcement concerns."
An analysis found that the pause would suspend 85 percent of all criminal alien deportations. "Essentially, this memo is an attempt to abolish immigration enforcement," Jessica Vaughan, director of policy studies for the Center for Immigration Studies, who performed the analysis, told The Epoch Times.
The White House has said it’s confident the court will ultimately find the deportation pause "was wholly appropriate."

As we know the Socialist-Democrat party is a collection of
Deep Fringe groups in Society, with the appeasing liberals making up the core. All loosely joined together under the Socialist-Democrat Political title.
While we here have the OPEN BORDER / Global Gov Group feathers being stroked. We must remember the SD Party also includes: Far Left Homosexuals, the Mentally Confused sexually, Anti-Capitalists, Bernie's Socialists, Racist Anti-White'ers, Pedophiles,Anti-GOD (Christian/Jewish) and Pro-Islamic. Some are so far off the Tolerable Social Norm chart I don't know if there is a openly used PC name for them, just private whispers.
But whatever Fringe Group it is that helps make up its Voter Block. It is always something that represents a very low percentage of the USA population as a whole. Thus the Pandering here and there for appeasement.
BTW: Many of these Deep Fringe Groups have direct agenda and foundational conflicts, with a history of physical hostility towards each other ...
eg. Radicalized Islamic's VS. LGBT?'s, Anti-Death Penalty, Feminism, Anti-GOD, and etc...
It will be interesting waiting to see how long before these groups start to openly attack each other and how the SD's handles its internal war. Plus how the MEDIA reports it.
Another Trump ripple spreading, and in defiance of the EU, too.

The decision on mutual recognition between Kosovo and Israel was achieved last September at a summit of Kosovo-Serbia leaders at the White House in the presence of then-US president Donald Trump. At the meeting, Belgrade also agreed to move its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, which it has not done so far.
[IsraelTimes] Paleostinians have boycotted Washington since 2017, although some informal contacts have remained in place; senior PA official says two sides discussed bilateral relations. "and Boodle...but mostly Boodle"
Paleostinian Authority Civil Affairs Commission chairman Hussein al-Sheikh said in a statement that said he had spoken to US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Israeli and Paleostinian Affairs Hady Amr.
In between stints at the State department and DoD during the last three Democratic presidencies — because clearly only half the country deserves the wonderfulness that is himself — Mr. Amr has kept busy with an eponymous consulting group and fellowships at a variety of prestigious think tanks and such.

In addition to al-Sheikh, PA Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh also spoke with Amr, according to Paleostinian National Public Radio.
The State Department did not release an official statement on the matter.
However, by candlelight every wench is handsome... an official in the department told to The Times of Israel that Amr "is making a range of introductory calls with the government of Israel and Paleostinian Authority counterparts as he assumes his new duties."
Amr, who has served in several mid-level government posts over the past two decades, shares the Israeli-Paleostinian portfolio with Deputy Assistant Secretary Daniel Benaim.
Also leaving a bunch of think tank fellowships, plus a part time faculty spot at NYU, to return to serving a Democrat president in varying capacities starting with speechwriting and Middle East policy wonk..
When Americans headed to the polls last November, Paleostinian Authority Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh publicly hoped for a Biden victory, saying that should Trump win: "God help us."
Even after the Jerusalem recognition though, a select few PA officials, including Intelligence Services chief Majed Faraj, were believed to have been in periodic contact with Washington, which showed interest in maintaining Israeli-Paleostinian security ties, even as US-PA contacts were virtually non-existent.
[IsraelTimes] Iranian state TV airs the launch of the country’s newest satellite-carrying rocket, which it says was able to reach a height of 500 kilometers (310 miles).
The footage of the solid-liquid-fueled rocket showed the launch taking place during daytime in a desert environment. The report did not say when the launch happened.
The rocket, called Zuljanah for the horse of Imam Hussein, the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad, did not launch a satellite into orbit.
State TV says the rocket is capable of carrying a 220-kilogram (485-pound) satellite, adding that the three-stage rocket uses solid fuel in the first and second stages and fluid fuel in the third.
