[NYP] In the moments after Joe Biden was declared president-elect, thousands of revelers took to the streets in cities across the country, blasting car horns, screaming and singing.
In Washington DC, hundreds of jubilant Biden supporters began to gather at the Black Lives Matter Plaza outside the White House as vehicles honked their horns and revelers sprayed each with Champagne.
One group of revelers carried a huge blow-up doll in the image of President Trump singing "Hey, hey, hey goodbye."
One man carried a sign which read "Trump Over."
In Philadelphia, a Democratic stronghold in the state that clinched the electoral college votes that proved decisive to Biden’s victory Saturday celebrations erupted throughout the city even as Trump supporters carrying blue signs tried in vain to drown out the cheers of Biden revelers.
Possibly they’re right. Or we have another “Dewey Beats Truman” moment.

And when the courts determine that there was massive fraud and Trump wins... they will claim he 'stole' the election. Adam 'The Liar' Schiff will start impeachment proceedings because, well, he followed the legal process.

[Just the News] The FBI is investigating allegations of election fraud in Detroit after a city worker stepped forward and claimed election workers were asked to backdate ballots that had come in after the election deadline had passed, multiple officials said.
A senior law enforcement official in Washington confirmed that an investigation was opened after the whistleblower's concerns were forwarded from the Michigan Republican Party. "The FBI is investigating," the official said.
GOP officials in Michigan said the whistleblower was identified and assisted by Phill Kline, the head of the Thomas More Society's Amistad Project, which has been litigating voting disputes and irregularities across the country for months.

That's at least 30k, prolly 40-50k, mail-in votes that should be tossed out. Most of those were likely for the muppet. So correcting this would easily make up all of the 15,000-vote gap and put Trump decisively in the lead.

[IsraelTimes] US Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito has ordered county elections officials in Pennsylvania to keep separate mail-in ballots that arrived after Election Day. The state’s top elections official already had ordered those ballots be kept apart.
The order comes in response to a plea from the state Republican Party as Democrat Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden ...Candidate for president in 2020. Alito, acting on his own, says he is motivated in part by the Republicans’ assertion that they can’t be sure elections officials are complying with guidance issued by Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar, a Democrat.
The justice handles emergency appeals from Pennsylvania. He orders a response from the state by Saturday afternoon and says he has referred the matter to the full court for further action.
The order is related to an ongoing Republican appeal to the Supreme Court to try to keep ballots received in the mail after Election Day from being counted. The state’s top court granted a three-day extension, and the Supreme Court refused to block it.

[AlAhram] The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) said about 1,700 ballots had been identified in Pennsylvania at processing facilities during two sweeps Thursday and were in the process of being delivered to election officials.
In a court filing early Friday, USPS said about 1,070 ballots, had been found at the USPS Philadelphia Processing and Distribution Center. About 300 were found at the Pittsburgh processing center, 266 at a Lehigh Valley facility and others found at other Pennsylvania processing centers.

"The county clerk came forward and said tabulating software glitched and caused a miscalculation of the votes. Since then, we have now discovered that 47 counties used this same software in the same capacity," she continued.
As a result, Antrim County had to hand count all of its ballots. Cox is now calling on the dozens of counties that used the same software to "closely examine their results for similar discrepancies."

The libertarian in me thinks that for small amounts it doesn't make sense to throw addicts into a jail. Certainly doesn't help them with their problems and now they are close to hardened criminals that does who knows what with them.
However, it doesn't solve anything either if there is no treatment plan attached.

mercutio has a point. I'm not sure I'd go the dirt nap route but when the druggies steal to support their habit, as they most certainly will, lock them up for a good long time. But I have to wonder how much of a problem this would be if we would only secure the border.

[NewsMax.com] A Buffalo, New York, United States Postal Service employee was arrested Tuesday while crossing the Canadian border with hundreds of undelivered mail items including several mail-in ballots, The Buffalo News reports.
According to the newspaper, Brandon Wilson, 27, had over 800 pieces of mail in his truck that he didn’t deliver. He claimed he was on the bridge between the U.S. and Canada by accident.
Authorities told the newspaper that Customs and Border Protection found a mail bin filled with three absentee ballots from the Eerie County Board of Elections and mail from several zip codes.
He told CBP agents he ended up on the bridge because he was in the wrong lane while driving in on I-190. He said the mail was for his mother, but was not able to explain to agents why the names on the packages were different.
Later, he told the Postal Service Office of Inspector General that he was taking mail from his delivery route and putting it in his car. He said he didn’t know he had three absentee ballots in his possession.
"Beginning in September 2020, Wilson estimated he placed mail from his delivery routes into the trunk of his vehicle on more than four but less than 10 instances after returning to the post office from his assigned route," special agent Brendan M. Boone wrote in a report. "Wilson intended to whittle down the amount of mail in the trunk of his vehicle by placing a small amount of the mail into USPS missort containers in the morning before his shift began. Wilson last reintroduced mailings into the mail stream in this fashion approximately three weeks prior [to] the date of the interview."
Court documents show he has been charged with delaying or destroying mail. If convicted, he could face five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
