[NYPOST] The NYPD is investigating an allegation that people tried to vote illegally in The Bronx on Thursday — by shaving their heads to change their appearance, The Post has learned.
The incident took place around 2 p.m. when the group of would-be voters entered an early-voting site at St. La Belle Frances de Chantal Church in Throggs Neck, law enforcement sources said.
Despite their attempts at disguise, a person at the polling place recognized them as having voted there previously and confronted them, sources said.
The group ran out and got away in two vehicles, but the person followed them, recorded the license plates and called 911, sources said.
Investigators are tracking down the vehicles and seeking surveillance video of the would-be voters from the time of the incident and any other time they visited the church at 190 Hollywood Ave., sources said.
Under state law, anyone who votes more than once in an election — or even attempts to do so — is guilty of a felony.

it's almost like we could come up with some sort of identification process. perhaps even using a card that every responsible adult already has on their person. instead of relying on the eyesight and ability of octogenarian poll workers.
nah, i bet that would be rayciss.

[The National Pulse] The National Pulse has identified emails from Hunter Biden’s hard drive appearing to reveal him and his business partners coordinating introductions to then-Vice President Joe Biden to solidify a deal involving billion-dollar bonds.
In full, the e-mail leveraging a meeting with Joe Biden in exchange for "more bonds to move" reads:
"So we have engagement letter if they get other 10 bonds they have a face value of 10b. While it is far fetched Devon said he talked to his professor and these get traded. We get 10% in fees. We need to get these guys to an event or something where they get to just formally meet your Dad. For follow on they can talk to Chief of Staff. Let me know how soon we can do that. V brief. If Nagi get that done we get more bonds to move. Regards your hard working partner in Positano! Sean"
Per subsequent e-mails, "each bond is worth over $2.1 billion."
While it remains unclear whether or not the meeting and follow-up arrangements with Biden and his Chief of Staff materialized, the unearthed emails reveal how the Vice President was used as a point of leverage in his son's business dealings. Yet again.

I'm reminded of that movie Wolf of Wall Street in which a dope addict makes it big as a stock broker playing fast and loose. The wonder is not that he finally got caught but that he got as far as he did. But then, we're still waiting for Hunter to get caught.

[FOXNEWS] Austin has seen a spike in violent mostly peaceful crime and officer retirements after the city council voted over the summer to immediately slash $20 million from the police department budget, becoming the first major Texas city to do so.
In August, Austin City Council members voted unanimously to cut about $150 million, or roughly one-third, from its police department and allocate those funds to areas like violence prevention, housing and mental health services. Only about $21.5 million was immediately removed from the department's funding in part by canceling three upcoming cadet classes and slashing overtime expenses.
"It is demoralizing for the officers. It is angering for the citizens because they're having to wait longer for officers to get the calls. And it's unsafe for citizens and officers," Austin Police Association President Bill Cassidy told Fox News.
Since voting to defund the police, Austin, a historically low-crime city, has seen an uptick in murders and aggravated assaults, according to data from the Austin Police Department's September crime report. So far this year, Austin has seen 35 murders, compared to 25 in all of 2019, a percentage increase of 40%. In September, the city saw three murders, compared to two last year.
The number of aggravated assaults is also on the rise, jumping by 18% from last year, when 1,972 were reported, to 2,333 reported in the first eight months of this year.
"Our murder rate's the highest it's ever been," Cassidy said.
The department is also coping with an abnormally high attrition rate. Officers attribute the higher-than-usual departure rate to what they view as anti-police sentiment and a lack of support by community members and city leaders.

[Spokesman] In response to weapon-carrying people at recent protests, a new Spokane City Council proposal would ask police to stop armed militia groups from gathering in the city.
Though nonbinding, the proposed resolution would request that Spokane police enforce existing state laws against the public assembly of private militias.
The proposal follows several protests, which began following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis earlier this year and drew armed militia groups into downtown Spokane.

This is why I'm not thrilled about the left's new public enthusiasm for guns, as so many "conservatives" and "libertarians" are.
If the usual pattern holds, their guns will be viewed as "essential" while everyone else's are designated as contrabrand.

It does undermine civil order, civil order the government wants, not what the people want. The 2nd amendment is there to keep the government in check. Spokane's council being upset is living proof our constitution is strong.

[Institut Montaigne] Franco-German Divergences in the Indo-Pacific: The Risk of Strategic Dilution.
Debate on the Indo-Pacific is gaining traction in Europe. While France has been championing the idea for a long time, in September 2020, Germany became the second European country to adopt "policy guidelines for the Indo-Pacific". Since then, Germany, France, and the Netherlands have also initiated the process of pushing for an EU strategy for the region. With Germany and other member states embracing the idea, the common European misperception that the Indo-Pacific is first and foremost an issue of Franco-British naval presence in the South China Sea stands a better chance of being gradually brushed aside.
But as moves towards a European vision of the Indo-Pacific gain pace, the compatibility and the coherence of the French and German visions for the region will become a central issue for Europe. At the start of this year, senior French defense officials were saying that France’s strategic vision had more in common with Australia, than with any European partner, including Germany. But "mental maps" change. Germany has followed the French steps in recognizing the importance of the Indo-Pacific as an area to defend and promote European interests, in an international order increasingly characterized by the return of bipolarity and great power competition. Its formal embrace of the Indo-Pacific has brought the two countries closer. However, obvious differences remain in the French and German visions of the Indo-Pacific. Their priorities don’t always align. These divergences will need to be reduced or circumvented in order to formulate an effective EU strategy for the Indo-Pacific.
EUROPE’S SPACE BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES AND CHINA
On the surface, because of the Trump administration’s free and open Indo-Pacific strategy, the Franco-German embrace of the Indo-Pacific suggests a solid basis for transatlantic alignment. Indeed, there is full French compatibility with the most salient elements of the American approach, outlined in the strategic document published by the US State Department in November 2019. These are: a free and open Indo-Pacific free of coercion; adherence to international law, including freedom of navigation and overflight; and the key importance of openness and transparency for trade and investment.
The German strategy, however, reflects Germany’s reluctance to align with Washington. In this sense, the guidelines echo the refrain often heard in Berlin: "we don’t want to choose sides between the US and China". Germany opposes both unipolarity and bipolarity in the Indo-Pacific and doesn’t specify what role, if any, it expects the US to play. This German assessment of transatlantic cooperation vis-à-vis China reflects distrust towards the Trump administration and may change in case of a Biden administration. France prefers the language of "balancing power" (puissance d’équilibre) – which in practice means contributing to the overall power balance by siding with those affected by the rise in Chinese military power and political influence.
Secondly, Germany’s Indo-Pacific guidelines reflect the shift in Germany’s assessment of China as an international actor. The guidelines are clear in criticizing powers attempting to unilaterally alter the status quo and even refer to China as an emerging power that is "calling into question existing rules of the international order". It refers to numerous disputes in the region, including in the Himalayas and the Malacca Strait, and underlines the need for "closing ranks with democracies and partners with shared values". At the same time, Germany pays more attention than France to downplaying conflicts with China and seeks a more "inclusive" Indo-Pacific, including the possibility of cooperation with China on issues like climate change.

[NotTheBee] Hill Dog is participating in the Electoral College. Maybe she'll be on the winning team this time 😉. I must say, this is kind of hypocritical since she's said in the past that we need to abolish the Electoral College.
As a Christian Libertarian, I truly believe that if you think something is bad you should never participate in it. But that's just me.
So I'm wondering why she is doing this. It seems to be largely a waste of time, since New York should obviously go blue, as usual. So why would she do it if the Electoral College is so bad? I might be exaggerating here, or possibly just trying to fit in a joke, but this might end up being as controversial as the outcome of the 2016 election.

Law enforcement needs a plan to take out the head of the snake. Until then every time a polecat (politician) turns without using a turn signal, jay walks, drives too fast drives too slow, steps outside of the crosswalk write em up.
That includes the police cheifs and admin. If they fight dirty you fight dirtier.
Get other law enforcement agencies ino the acttoo, Sherriffs officers, state troopers the cousin who is ICE. So on.

[Breitbart] South Florida investigators have uncovered a plan to register dozens of deceased individuals as Democrat voters.
While no votes or absentee ballots were requested or cast under the fabricated identities, the Washington Times noted that “officials in Broward County, a Democratic stronghold and Florida’s second most populous county, uncovered the scheme over the summer.”
According to the election officials, a person in Columbiana, South Carolina, mailed 51 new voter applications, all of which featured the same handwriting, to the Broward County elections office in July.
The Times also stated that the “Broward County supervisor of elections officials flagged the registrations as suspicious and turned them over to the Broward state attorney’s office.”
“We cannot comment on an ongoing, active criminal investigation,” state attorney’s office spokeswoman Paula McMahon said in an email to The Associated Press.
Election officials are also questioning who sent the ballots as no return address was provided. The registration applications were received in 19 different envelopes.
Of the 51 received, a total of 31 of the applications were verified by the state attorney’s office as being deceased. The remaining identities could not be verified by date of birth and name only, according to Assistant State Attorney Tim Donnelly.
“Five of the names were already on the voter rolls, but investigators said no absentee ballots had been requested,” the Times stated. The deadline to request a mail-in ballot was October 24.
Broward Elections Supervisor Pete Antonacci says this was an “organized effort.”
“This is an organized effort by someone who knew a little bit about Florida law but not a lot and had a scheme to either undermine the Florida registration system with fake voters or intended to vote 50 times,” Antonacci told the South Florida SunSentinel.
Officials also stated that several spaces on the applications were left blank, such as drivers license and social security number sections.
According to Antonacci, there is a time difference in between when someone dies and the election officials are notified, and someone took advantage of that.
“The system is based on the honor system, and the honor system is supposedly bolstered by the fact that if you lie on one of these applications, it’s a crime,” Antonacci said. “With determination, you can muscle your way in.”
Broward State Attorney Mike Satz released a statement on the matter, saying any allegation of voter fraud is “taken seriously.”
“We take any allegation of voter fraud very seriously because it affects our very democracy,” Satz said. “Anyone who has information regarding any attempt to commit the crime of voter fraud should report it to the Broward Supervisor of Elections and the Broward State Attorney’s Office so it can be thoroughly investigated."

[BREITBART] Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) vouched for the credibility of Hunter Biden’s former business partner Tony Bobulinski, who has alleged that former Vice President Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden ...Candidate for president in 2020. Old, boring, a plagiarist, fond of hair sniffing and grabbing the protruding parts of women, and not whatcha call brilliant... was intimately involved in the shady business dealings of his son, despite his claims of ignorance.
Fox News’ John Roberts posted an October 30, 2020, email from Khanna to Bobulinski, a former Navy lieutenant, that said:
"Tony, hope you are doing okay. I did give an on the record statement to The NY Times that I know you, you have always acted honorably with me, and you and other family members supported me. I have told any media outlets that have asked the same thing."
Khanna also said he told those outlets that he respected Bobulinski’s service to the nation, that he has "never been a ’partisan hack'" in their interactions, and that he does not think he is a Russian agent.
Trump campaign communications aide Matt Wolking questioned why the New York Times
...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize... has not reported Khanna’s statements:
Tony Bobulinski is a Democrat donor. That makes sense, he was a Biden family insider who worked closely with Hunter. Bobulinksi supported Rep. Ro Khanna, who says in this email he vouched for Bobulinski’s credibility to The New York Times. Why hasn’t the NYT reported that?

[BREITBART] Vice President Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden ...Candidate for president in 2020. Joe's wife and daughter weren't killed by a drunk driver. He didn't graduate with three or even two degrees, wasn't in the top half of his law class, and his daddy didn't come home from a hard day's work in the mines and play football with the guys. The NAACP hasn't endorsed him every time he's run. If you believe Tara Reade you probably shouldn't vote for him.... addressed a drive-in rally Friday afternoon in a parking lot in St. Paul, Minnesota — and was drowned out by the honking of Donald Trump ...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party... supporters in their cars.
During the course of his speech, Biden repeatedly snapped at the Trump fans, who protested his visit outside the fence.
"These guys are not very polite, but they’re like Trump," Biden said, raising his hand towards the pro-Trump crowd. "They’re gonna be okay. We’re gonna take care of them as well. We need to come together. Need to fight for all these folks."
Later, Biden referred to the Trump supporters nearby as "ugly folks" as he explained why he believed a nationwide mask mandate to be a "patriotic duty."
"Dr. [Anthony] Fauci called for a mask mandate last week," Biden stated. "This isn’t a political statement like those ugly folks over there beeping their horns. This is a patriotic duty for God’s sake."
According to those on the scene, there were more Trump supporters who showed up for Biden’s event than Biden supporters.

[AmGreatness] Barack Obama and Joe Biden head to Michigan this weekend to hustle votes in one of the three states that helped elect Donald Trump in 2016. Recent polls show Biden with a comfortable lead in Michigan, but Democrats are taking nothing for granted in the final stretch; Representative Debbie Dingel (D-Mich.) on Wednesday warned Team Biden that the race is tightening. "So many auto workers who I thought were going to go back to Joe Biden were very clear with me...that they were voting for President Trump."
Oh dear. How deplorable of them.
Enter the Anointed One. Obama already has been on the stump twice in Florida, attempting to bolster Biden’s flagging support among Hispanic voters, and once in Philadelphia. The former president was planning to stay out of the race, according to his longtime political consigliere David Axelrod, but Trump’s antics have forced Obama onto the campaign trail. "He doesn’t view it as a personal grudge match with Trump," Axelrod told CNN last week, defending yet another breach of precedent and protocol by the 44th president of the United States.
But of course Obama’s last-minute campaign activity is completely about his grudge against Donald Trump. As much as the news media loves to portray Trump as the one who is easily rattled, it is actually Trump who very easily gets under Obama’s skin. The former president is fixated on the man who succeeded him, the political foe Obama repeatedly said would never win the presidency. Few politicians are as thin-skinned, petulant, and vengeful as Barack Obama—just ask Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn—and it’s obvious that Donald Trump still gets the best of him.

The original SCOTUS challenge, the FDR administration justified it as a 'tax' not a pension system. In the 60s, the Donks and Prez Johnson did away with the fictional two books kept for record keeping and just merged the 'tax' into one spendable pot for the pols. Can't go any more broke than the central government running the printing presses.

It was never anything but a scam. Big Brother claims that he doesn't trust you with your own money so he steals it while you're working with some vague promise that he'll dole it back to you in amounts that he sees fit when you get old. Never mind that you might well croak before you ever get it all back. Never mind that you won't be able to pass it on to your family.
I'd be a rich man today if I'd been allowed to put all that money into a 401(k).
