We in the civilized world tend to forget about these these ISIS Wonderanimals, formerly Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis until they either kill Egyptians or Egyptians kill them. They're more pleasant to think about when the Egyptians kill them
They're also not speaking with the council the Ghani govt has picked to represent themselves, while Ghani and Abdullah both claim to be in charge of deck chair arrangement on the ship of state, and the Paks sit back rubbing their hands and chuckling into their beards

[Libya Observer] The Head of the Presidential Council Fayez al-Sirraj said Saturday that Khalifa Haftar ...Self-proclaimed Field Marshal, served in the Libyan army under Muammar Qadaffy, and took part in the coup that brought Qadaffy to power in 1969. He became a prisoner of war in Chad in 1987. While held prisoner, he and his fellow officers formed a group hoping to overthrow Qadaffy, so it's kind of hard to describe him as a Qadaffy holdover. He was released around 1990 in a deal with the United States government and spent nearly two decades in the United States, gaining US citizenship. In 1993, while living in the United States, he was convicted in absentia of crimes against the Jamahiriya and sentenced to death. Haftar held a senior position in the anti-Qadaffy forces in the 2011 Libyan Civil War. In 2014 he was commander of the Libyan Army when the General National Congress (GNC) refused to give up power in accordance with its term of office. Haftar launched a campaign against the GNC and its Islamic fundamentalist allies. His campaign allowed elections to take place to replace the GNC, but then developed into a civil war. Guess you can't win them all. Actually, he is, but slowly... 's forces had expanded the ground of their offensive to include all of Libya, adding the Libyan Army under the command of the Government of National Accord is doing its legitimate right to defend itself and the country.
The Presidential Council said in a statement, responding to Khalifa Haftar's attacks on Friday on Abu Grein in eastern Misrata, that such attacks point to the expansion of war to be across the whole country, adding that they will respond to them using all their capabilities.
"Our forces are defending themselves as per the legitimacy they have. They are still fighting in Abu Grein after they have managed repel Haftar's forces offensive and forced them to retreat." The statement reads.
The front man for the Libyan Army Mohammed Gununu said Friday their forces had repelled Haftar forces' attack on western Sirte frontlines as the latter tried to advance with the help of mercenaries and foreign aircraft.
"We have seized military vehicles and destroyed others as we repelled Haftar's attacks, which cost them over 100 killed fighters including prominent Tebu tribal leader Ali Sida, who is in charge of recruiting mercenaries from Chad and Sudan for Haftar." Gununu remarked.

[ALMARSAD.CO] The Russian new agency indicated today, in a report translated by Al Marsad, that The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor... systematically violated the arms embargo imposed on Libya, stating that this ship was transporting anti-aircraft missile systems for the Government of National Accord (GNA) in Tripoli. ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... The report confirmed that Ankara continuously supplies equipment and weapons to the GNA Death Eaters fighting the Libyan National Army (LNA).
The RIA report added that Turkey sides with the "gangs of the Sarraj government" fighting the Libyan National Army (LNA‚ with groups of Death Eaters brought from Syria. It indicated that the Ottoman Turkish President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First ...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really more important... escalated tension in the country by interfering in the Libyan crisis.
It is noteworthy that on 19 March, Al Marsad reported from its sources that there was a ship carrying weapons and equipment on the same day it sailed from Istanbul. Al Marsad also indicated that an active naval force in the Mediterranean was awaiting, as part of the implementation of the arms embargo agreed by the international parties in Berlin, as well as the European decision to monitor ships moving to Libya from the eastern Mediterranean.

[ALMASDARNEWS] The Ansarallah forces have scored a new advance in northern Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... after resuming their assault in the Marib Governorate this week.According to Ansarallah-affiliated media, their forces launched a heavy attack this week on the strategic Kofal Camp near Marib city.
The Ansarallah forces managed to crack the main line of defense for the Saudi-backed troops, resulting in the capture of the Kofal Camp and the subsequent retreat of the latter to Marib city.
With Kofal Camp under Ansrallah control, it appears only a matter of time before the Saudi-backed Islah forces concede the entire Sirwah District of Marib.

[Jpost] A German court in the city of Dusseldorf sentenced a Tunisian national on Thursday to a 10-year prison term for planning a biological terror attack that could have murdered as many as 13,500 people.
The 31-year-old jihadi Sief Allah H. planned the mass murder with his wife, the 41-year-old German Yasmin. The presiding judge Jan van Lessen said that the couple "wanted to create a climate of fear and uncertainty among the German population."
According to the court statement, the couple started in September 2017 to organize a "jihadi motivated explosive attack in Germany" with the use of the "deadly poison ricin."
Sief Allah H. supported the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... and ordered castor seeds and metal ball bearings via the internet to construct the biological weapon.
The goal of the earth-shattering kaboom, according to the court statement, was to murder "other believers" who don’t embrace Islam. Judge van Lessen noted that Allah H. made two attempts join the Islamic State as a combatant in Syria.
The authorities confiscated the components of a planned biological weapon in the apartment of the couple in Cologne ...the largest city in North Rhine-Westphalia and the fourth populated city in Germany.... -Chorweiler. According to the court, "They show that the accused were well advanced in the manufacture of an bomb and had already made a significant amount of the ricin toxin from the castor beans they had ordered online."
The court said that"Radical Islamic content had been found on their mobile phones, demonstrating their radicalization and the decision to commit a terrorist attack based on it. The planned attack would most likely have resulted in numerous fatalities and injuries. The attack was prevented by police access on June 12, 2017."
German media reports said the biological weapon could have killed as many as 13,500 people.
Allah H. appealed his sentence. The trial against his wife is set to continue, with the next court hearing slated for April 1.

[Breibart] - German Federal Intelligence Service (BND) findings indicate that the Turkish government purposely incited riots by planting members of its security services among crowds of migrants.
The BND accuses Turkish forces of intermixing with migrants along the border and posing as migrants themselves, throwing rocks and other missiles at Greek forces in an effort to incite riots and facilitate a breakthrough into Greece and the European Union.

[Rudaw] Eight Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) fighters were "neutralized" in a Ottoman TurkishArclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... on Metina, northern Duhok province on Saturday, the Ottoman Turkish defense ministry said, according to state media outlet Anadolu.
The Ottoman Turkish government uses the term "neutralized" to denote death, injury, or capture of its adversaries.
No further details were provided about the strike or of any civilian and material damage.
The airstrike comes days after two Ottoman Turkish soldiers were killed in a mortar attack conducted by the PKK on Wednesday in the Haftanin area of the Kurdistan Region, close to the border with The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor... Ottoman Turkish forces retaliated for that attack by targeting four suspected PKK positions and "neutralized" eight fighters of the group.
The PKK grabbed credit for the attack in a statement on Thursday, saying "four Ottoman Turkish soldiers were killed and three injured."
Turkey routinely launches land and air operations against the group within its borders, in the Kurdistan Region, and in Iraq’s disputed territories of Shingal and Makhmour. It also attacks Kurdish forces in northern Syria, accusing them of ties with the PKK.
The PKK does not usually release statements on Ottoman Turkish operations unless it suffers major losses or a senior commander is killed.
A ceasefire came into effect in 2013 during the short-lived grinding of the peace processor, which lasted until July 2015 when the talks collapsed.
Since then, 4,825 people have been killed, including 2,859 PKK fighters, 1,229 Ottoman Turkish soldiers, 489 civilians, and 226 people of unknown affiliation, according to International Crisis Group (ICG) figures, last updated March 5.

[NYTIMES] A secret Pentagon directive It's a secret, so don't tell nobody... orders planning to try to destroy a militia group backed by Iran, but America’s top general in Iraq cautions of the risks. Every military operation balances risks with gains. So does every business. So, sometimes, does a marriage.
The Pentagon has ordered military commanders to plan for an escalation of American combat in Iraq, issuing a directive last week to prepare a campaign to destroy an Iranian-backed militia group that has threatened more attacks against American troops.
But the United States’ top commander in Iraq has warned that such a campaign could be bloody and counterproductive and risks war with Iran. In a blunt memo last week, the commander, Lt. Gen. Robert P. White, wrote that a new military campaign would also require thousands more American troops be sent to Iraq and divert resources from what has been the primary American military mission there: training Iraqi troops to combat the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. The Pentagon directive and General White’s response ‐ both classified internal military communications ‐ were described by several American officials with direct knowledge of their contents. The exchange comes amid a simmering fight inside the Trump administration over policy toward Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both.
