Seems to me that the testing for this should be very simple and the test the CDC was distributing is not
Any test taking four days for results is functional useless in epidemic control

#5 Testing is nice, but I think maybe that horse has left the barn. We are way past containment. The real gamechanger will be treatment and wartime production rates of essential supplies.

#6 Iblis, this is different kind of testing. This tells you if you're susceptible (can be infected) or resistant (immune). Now imagine a doctor who's been exposed. If the antibody test is positive, he can go back to work. If it isn't, he goes to quarantine.

Finally, look at me. Today, deciding to visit my son (I'm divorced, he lives with his mom) is a major decision. What if I caught something on the way in the public transport and pass it to him? Not to mention, I'm one of these with underlying condition - several in fact. However, if I knew I already had it, and am immune ...

#9 There is something about a larger exposure which creates a more severe infection.

My mom turns 80 this May. Has a number of conditions. In fact, was sent home for hospice care about a year ago. We beat the odds so far, but who knows?

Stay safe. Also, chloroquine works prophylactically.
