[Breitbart] The acting attorney general for Veracruz admitted she is the cousin of a top operator for Los Zetas Cartel.
During a hearing before the State Congress of Veracruz, Acting Attorney General Veronica Hernandez Giadans said she was related by blood to Guadalupe Hernandez "La Jefa" Hervis, a woman wanted by federal authorities on multiple organized crime charges. La Jefa is also described as a close ally of Hernan "Comandante H" Martinez Zavaleta.
The questions about Hernandez's family history came during a heated exchange with Congressman Jose Manuel Posos Castro, who hails from Mexico's Morena Party, Radio Formula reported.
Hernandez recently took the position as acting attorney general after the former AG became a fugitive. He was outed for allegedly protecting members of Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generacion, Proceso reported.
A video shared on social media by another reporter from Veracruz captured the moment when Hernandez said that she could not answer for her family's actions and criminal activities, but she would respond to her own actions.

July 19, 2014: MORENA, the National Regeneration Movement is led by former presidential candidate Andrés Manuel López Obrador. It was founded in November 2012. López Obrador and his followers had been members of the Party of the Democratic Revolution: "They now have the electoral vehicle they wanted as they prepare to enter the mid-term Mexican elections in 2015. The expectation is that MORENA will nominate López Obrador for president in the 2018 elections."
[Fox9 - The New Unpleasant Fox] The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations announced Wednesday it reached a settlement with the Minneapolis Park Police over a 2018 incident where officers handcuffed four Somali teenagers.
The incident occurred at Minnehaha Regional Park on July 10, 2018. Officers handcuffed the teenagers, ages 13 to 16, and one of the officers pointed a gun at one of them after a 911 caller said the boys were assaulting her boyfriend and had weapons.
Witnesses later told police the caller was making the story up and they never saw an assault or any weapon.
[JPost] - The UN issued a call to the international community, asking them to "ensure continued commitment, consistent and sustained funding to help alleviate the challenges faced by Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem," according to a statement on its website.
UN Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Deputy Emergency Relief Coordinator, Ursula Mueller, visited Israel and the Palestinian territories for six days and came to the conclusion that the Palestinians are in need of stronger international support. They haven't succeeded in killing a Jew in months?

I have this theory that the length of your title is inversely proportional to your usefulness. For example:
Ursula Mueller, United Nations Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Deputy Emergency Relief Coordinator
vs
Bob, the janitor.

Never been there (Gaza) Chris and have no desire to go. Mrs. B would like to visit the Holy Land however. It's on the bucket list. Went to Normandy and the invasion beaches with some Army buddies last year. Talk about a pro-American place to visit, that's gotta be at the top of the list. Never seen so many American flags.
[Jerusalem Post] Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived for a working breakfast at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence on Thursday morning.
Putin arrived in Israel on Thursday for the Fifth World Holocaust Forum at Yad Vashem, where he will give an address. He will return to Russia later the same day.
Netanyahu thanked Putin for "the strong connection between Russia and Israel that serves our nations, our countries and peace and stability in the region. Welcome to Jerusalem."
Putin said that he has long wanted to visit Israel again.
"I am certain that this will help promote our bilateral relations, and of course today we will remember the victims of the Holocaust," Putin said.
Subtitled video of the nonsense can be seen at the link.
[Jpost] An official from Fatah called upon Paleostinians to defend the site with their lives.
“What’s ours is ours and what’s yours is ours. We are the Master Religion — bow down in surrender, O infidels!”
The Western Wall belongs only to Moslems and must be defended even to the death, Paleostinians living in the West Bank were told during a filler piece between programs on official Paleostinian Authority TV and in a news article in the official PA newspaper.
Both on official television and in the official newspaper? Goodness. Were they crying it out five times a day from their mosques, too?
In a short video broadcast on November 29, an official PA TV narrator told viewers: "The historical documents in the possession of the Paleostinians of Jerusalem testify that Jerusalem is a city of Arab origin for thousands of years, and its history and culture are Islamic. Since Islam's conquest [in the 7th century], the al-Buraq Wall [the Western Wall] has remained an Islamic waqf [an inalienable religious endowment in Islamic law].
It was yours by right of conquest, guys. Since then, the Jews have conquered you — in 1948, 1956, and 1967. By the same logic, it all belongs to the Jews, now. Because if Allah wanted you to have it, he wouldn't have let you be conquered so many times.
The Moslems have the absolute right to it and there is not even one rock there that dates back to the period of King Solomon, as the Jews claim."

I’m a bit confused. What is the expectation re: the black box. Iran has fessed up to downing the plane with missiles. I must be missing something here?
Iran confirmed in a report released Tuesday that two Russian-made antiaircraft missiles hit a Ukrainian airliner that was shot down on Jan. 8, killing all 176 aboard.
While Iran’s Revolutionary Guard had previously admitted it shot down the plane, the report marked the first official acknowledgment that two missiles struck the aircraft, matching amateur videos that surfaced after the Boeing 737-800 went down.
The report by Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization did not immediately say the Tor M-1 missiles caused the crash but only that “the impact of these missiles on the accident and the analysis of this action are under investigation.”
Russia announced the delivery of the Tor M-1 system — also known as SA-15 — to Iran in 2007.

TW, I can see a need to ensure Iran continues to be very publically held accountable for their actions during AND after the downing. (p.s. Bothers the tar out of me that it's called a crash - it was shot down by missiles - that's why it crashed into the ground!). The boxes would be useful to determine cause; we know it was missile strikes and we know 2 of them. Boxes would ID specific systems failing, where failures occurring might indicate multiple strikes, maybe a few Holy Alan Snakbars from the cockpit voice recorder, etc. But we know that now. Can believe Iran would want to destroy the info before it became so obvious. Maybe that is the reason to press for inspection of the boxes, to document tampering. Just wondering out loud, not losing any sleep over this.

[Rudaw] A Dutch national held in Kurdish-run detention in northeast Syria has called for the establishment of an international process to try suspected members of the the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS).
Munir al-Kherbashi has already been sentenced in absentia for his involvement with ISIS by a Dutch court, he told Rudaw in an interview on Sunday.
"We are waiting to go back to our countries, to get our [court] process in our countries back home. They have already given me my sentence in Holland, from 2016, I have a judgement. They sentenced me six years [in prison]," Kherbashi told Rudaw.
At the height of its power, ISIS controlled an area of Iraq and Syria equivalent to the size of the United Kingdom, subjecting close to ten million people to the organization’s extreme interpretation of Islam in 2014.
Thousands of Europe ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... an citizens flocked to the ISIS caliphate to fight for the group, mainly through the The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor... -Syria border.
While Kherbashi told Rudaw that talk of cooperative Turkey-ISIS relations is not based on any evidence, he described the ease of movement across the Ottoman Turkish border in ISIS’ early years as "strange."
It would be strange only if Turkey really objected to what ISIS was trying to do, instead of planning to make use of them.
With the territorial defeat of ISIS in March 2019 by the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), thousands of ISIS fighters are now being held in SDF-run prisons. Thousands of suspect spouses and children live in the overcrowded al-Hol camp in northeast Syria.
European countries have refused to take their citizens back on more than a case by case basis, saying they fear threats to their own national security and that gathering evidence to try the fighters could prove a legal minefield.
The issue has been so contentious that the repatriation of a Norwegian woman and her two children led a party in Norway to withdraw from the country’s right-wing government coalition on Monday.
While Iraq has offered to try ISIS suspects in its courts, Western countries have been wary to take Baghdad up on its offer amid questionable trial processes and the handing down of death penalty sentences.
The SDF and some European powers had called for the establishment of an international tribunal to process detained ISIS members.
"An international judge would be a good thing because then at least we get the process and the trial, and hence the sentence," Kherbashi said.
"If they give you six, eight, ten years, then at least you will know you are going to spend your time in prison and then afterwards you are free and you can start your life again, learn from your mistakes," he added.
"We hope the Europeans and the West, with the SDF, try find us a solution for the process."
Facing prolonged uncertainty about his return, the Dutch national said he wouldn’t mind living somewhere other than his home country, including Syria.
"I don't know which country would accept me, but if it is stable and it is possible to live here in Syria, I would like to live in Syria with my family. If that would be possible," Kherbashi said.
"I would like [to live] in any country that would accept me, as long as I am free. Everyone knows freedom is important for them," he added.
"If you get a second chance, then you will not try to create more trouble for yourself because we already are in a big predicament. We don't want more problems. This is how I think about it."

Freedom is definitely important. But not getting killed by idiot True Believers is pretty high on the list too. No matter what they'll say to get out of the pokey.
