[Breitbart] Top Democrats are signaling not-so-subtly that they are nervous as a forthcoming book from Peter Schweizer that will expose widespread corruption in the Democrat Party drops in just ten days.
The cover features photos of 2020 Democrat presidential frontrunners former Vice President Joe Biden, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), as well as fellow 2020 candidates Sens. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Cory Booker (D-NJ), and former 2020 candidate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA).
Schweizer is a Breitbart News contributing editor and the president of the Government Accountability Institute (GAI). He has written multiple bestselling books exposing corruption in Washington.
While little is known publicly about the book thus far, Allen quotes Schweizer as saying he spent a year and a half investigating for it, and that it is "a sweeping, detailed look at how the leading figures of progressivism have leveraged the power of their positions." Allen reported that the book features chapters on each of them, as well as Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH).
It has also been revealed that the book will expose the "Biden Five," a group of Biden’s family members beyond son Hunter Biden who have siphoned tens of millions of dollars from taxpayers and from guaranteed loans. As Breitbart News reported, the Burisma Ukrainian natural gas company scandal surrounding Hunter Biden that was at the center of the House Democrats’ partisan impeachment push in Congress is just "the tip of the iceberg" when it comes to Biden corruption, and much more will be exposed in this book.
Schweizer’s last two books were filled with explosive revelations about career politicians. Clinton Cash, his 2015 book, uncovered significant corruption swirling around the Clinton Foundation and Clinton Global Initiative and how the Clintons orchestrated a massive international pay-for-play political scheme. Secret Empires, his most recent book, uncovered much about Joe and Hunter Biden as well as other career politicians. Much of the revelations about Hunter Biden’s role with Burisma originated in Secret Empires.
So it’s no surprise that since these initial revelations about the explosive Profiles in Corruption book out on Jan. 21, the book has rocketed near the top of Amazon’s bestseller list, and interest in it has spiked considerably.

Much of this is known already; it's just that the media SS has refused to give legs to these appalling, in-your-face, hidden in plain sight Global Grifter stories.
Case in point: Biden's brother was given a cushy gig as VP of a homebuilding company shortly after it scored a $1.5 billion -- yes, BILLION - Iraq Reconstruction contract while Plugz was VP.
And then there's Zero's sweetheart payola deal with Netflix, a company whose entire business model hinges on favorable regulatory treatment by the FCC: $68 MILLION for being a "producer." Leave aside the fact that the man has zero experience in creative film or documentary production. What did Soetoro ever produce in his life except BS and choom-smoke?
Hidden in plain sight. Most corrupt era since the Robber Barons.

Schweizer wrote a book several years ago entitled "Throw Them All Out" about crony capitalists and how Congress (D & R) folk enrich themselves and their families--all legit per the respective "ethics" committees but would put you and me and Martha Stewart in jail.
The fix is in
[Federalist] The nation's top spy court appointed an Obama-era Justice Department official who has denied and downplayed FBI surveillance abuse to assess the FBI's response to a scathing new report cataloguing problems with how the agency secured authority to spy on a Donald Trump campaign affiliate.
Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) presiding Judge James Boasberg appointed David Kris to review the FBI's proposed changes to its surveillance application process even though he spent the past few years running interference for the FBI as substantive criticism of the agency mounted.
Lengthy investigations in the House of Representatives and by the Department of Justice inspector general showed major problems with the claims the FBI made as part of an investigation into whether Trump was a traitor who had colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election. Those problems include withholding exonerating evidence, undue reliance on shady sources, and outright alteration of evidence.
Kris, who served as assistant attorney general for the DOJ's National Security Division, recently claimed the IG report that catalogued egregious abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) powers actually vindicated the FBI. He also smeared Rep. Devin Nunes in 2018, saying his initial sounding of the alarm about those abuses was incorrect, threatened national security, and should be harshly punished.
Kris appeared in locations that pushed the false Russia collusion narrative, such as Rachel Maddow's MSNBC show, the Lawfare blog, and Twitter, to defend the FBI and attack President Trump and other critics of the harmful surveillance campaign. He once wrote that Trump "should be worried" that Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into treasonous collusion with Russia meant "the walls are closing in."
The appointment of a former official who served as an apologist for the FBI signals that the court isn't particularly concerned about the civil liberty violations catalogued by Inspector General Michael Horowitz's investigation into the year-long surveillance of Carter Page. Page is the Trump campaign affiliate whose phone and email communications federal agents wiretapped, and who had confidential human sources and overseas intelligence assets placed against him. False claims that Page was a Russian spy were leaked to the media by government officials as part of a years-long campaign to paint President Trump as a traitor who had colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election.
The court "finds it appropriate to appoint David S. Kris, Esq., to serve as amicus curiae to assist the Court in assessing the government's response to" a Dec. 17, 2019, order to "inform the Court . . . of what it has done, and plans to do, to ensure that the statement of facts in each FBI application accurately and completely reflects information possessed by the FBI that is material to any issue presented by the application."
The pick was justified on the grounds that he is one of the few officials with FISA experience. But Kris has repeatedly shown himself to be a reflexive defender of the FBI, even as evidence mounted of its malfeasance.

Outcomes are vitally important. David is a man we can trust He will ensure the correct outcomes prevail. What are your questions.

We need a fox to clean out the hen house. Why do they they make everything in Washingon so friggin complex? You ask them what time it is and they tell you how to build a clock rather than just give you the time. The bad apples should have been cleaned out already and had their day in court.

This isn't about complexity. It's about rigging the game.
And remember, this is all happening while we're all paying attention to Iran.
I'll be thrilled if the mullahs are all strung up, but what good will it do us if the Swamp preserves itself and turns us into Nortemexico while we're distracted?

[NY Post] Dark money for me, but not for thee?
Socialist superstar Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Saturday began a fundraising push for her very own political action committee ‐ despite her status as the party's leading foe of big money in politics.
"We are pushing the envelope in DC by rewarding those who reject lobbyist money, fight for working families, & welcome newcomers," AOC tweeted Saturday while announcing Courage to Change, a leadership PAC she set up within weeks of her 2018 election victory.
The post came a day after Ocasio-Cortez was slammed for refusing to pay dues to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, despite her bulging campaign coffers.
Leadership PACs have been decried as slush funds for lawmakers, who routinely use the loosely regulated accounts to pay for luxe travel and pricey meals ‐ as well as a means of distributing cash to political allies.
And AOC's fundraising for Courage to Change will benefit her even more directly.
The website she directed her followers to in her tweet notes that contributions will be divided evenly between the PAC and Ocasio-Cortez's personal campaign fund.

Just like the communist she is. First enter the party claiming the money is all corrupt. Then starts her own party with corrupt money. Soon she will be getting millions in single doner credit card payments from China.

Is anyone in her district even paying attention to what she says and does?? Is she going to be reinstated with another 6000 low info voters?
The Democratic stage will be the smallest yet for next Tuesday's Iowa debate, with just six candidates...

I watched a couple of Dem debates but then quit as it seemed a great waste of time.
A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
