Socialist blue New York is seeing its locals fleeing to other states, and with those kind of losses, someone's congressional seat has got to go.
Whose seat is on the block? The Daily Wire has a report:
According to pollster Frank Luntz, New York is likely to lose a seat in Congress after the 2020 census and Democrats in the state legislature will have to redraw the state's Congressional districts as a result. Although there are plenty of places to cut, New York Dems are reportedly eyeing Ocasio-Cortez's Bronx district for elimination because she's been out of sync with state-level Democrats who control the process.
"New York is expected to lose a House seat after the 2020 Census, and state Democrats are looking to draw out @AOC's district," Luntz wrote on Twitter. He included a link to an article from a local New York City magazine, The City, that suggested the Ocasio-Cortez is doubling down on her efforts to encourage her constituents to fill out the 2020 census so that she can stay in office. Whilst I eagerly await AOC's political demise, it may not happen in this manner this November. According to Wiki, NY lost a House seat in 2010 but the redistricting didn't happen until three years later.
If they do indeed redistrict, there are three rep's from the Bronx, and she's probably on the chopping block.

I agree with Procopius2k. They don't like AOC but they aren't going to give up a DEM +29 seat. They'd rather primary her out.
There is a north/south line on Long Island. East of the line (1st and 2nd districts) are GOP, west is DEM. I believe they will try to merge the two GOP districts as to not lose a DEM seat.
Normally they'd take a district that was high DEM to merge but I don't see any that are contiguous so it would look really bad if they did. Of course DEMS might not care.

It'd be a good way for Pelosi to regain control of her caucus.

DEMs are facing a red wave in 2020 and she knows it. Losing a solid blue seat would be foolish. She'll primary the AOC but probably keep her distance about it.
This is gonna hurt. A LOT
[PJ] Joe Biden, famous for sticking his foot in his mouth, has apparently been battling that problem his entire career. New video from 1974 (pre-hair plugs) has surfaced on Twitter showing Biden admitting that politics is corrupt and that he was "ready to prostitute" himself to big donors.
Biden's comments were made during a discussion on campaign finance on The Advocates, a PBS debate show that aired in the '70s.
Not only did he admit that was willing to "prostitute" himself, but he compared himself to a "token black," furthering his ongoing problem of making racist comments without being aware of it. "I'm not sure you should assume I'm not corrupt," said Biden. "I'm a 29-year-old oddball...I'm like the token black or the token woman...I went to the big guys for money and I was ready to prostitute myself in the manner in which I talk about it, but what happened was they said 'come back when you're 40, son.'"
Watch for yourself. It's pretty cringeworthy. Video at link
He then went on to blame the corruption on the American people. "We were told that we politicians, as the young kids say, rip off the American public. I think the American public in a way rips off we politicians by forcing us to run the way they do."
Here's what we've learned from this interview: Joe Biden admits that politics is corrupt, that big donors always want something in exchange for their support, that he himself is up for sale, and that he blames the American public for it. I've heard some doozies in my lifetime but this one could be the biggest pile of garbage ever to be uttered on TV.

They're gonna say it's from the 70s and handwave it away. Not gonna affect anything.

"They" say something that ended over 150 years ago is pertinent today. Alinsky them!
[WASHINGTONTIMES] Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe admitted he misled Sherlocks about his role in a media leak and apologized for it, according to transcripts of his interviews with Sherlocks released Thursday.
The transcripts were released by the Justice Departmentās inspector general in response to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.
An unidentified FBI investigator detailed his frustration with Mr. McCabe over the time he spent investigating the leak, only to discover the leak came from the former deputy director himself, according to the transcripts. Mr. McCabe had repeatedly denied he was the source of the leak, but later confessed and apologized when the investigator confronted him, the transcripts said.
[IsraelTimes] The High Court has thrown out a petition that urged it to bar the prime minister from forming a government after the upcoming March election due to his criminal cases.
The court says it will not make a decision at the moment. Though it acknowledges the question raised by petitioners is "fundamental and important," it adds that "at this time the petition is theoretical and premature."
Court judges had previously indicated they believed it was too early to give a ruling as the election has not yet taken place, and said it may be more appropriate if and when Benjamin Netanyahu is set to be tasked with forming a government after the national poll.
