[Strategic Culture Foundation] Former US President Barack Obama is now in severe legal jeopardy, because the Russiagate investigation has turned 180 degrees; and he, instead of the current President, Donald Trump, is in its cross-hairs.

The biggest crime that a US President can commit is to try to defeat American democracy (the Constitutional functioning of the US Government) itself, either by working with foreign powers to take it over, or else by working internally within America to sabotage democracy for his or her own personal reasons. Either way, it’s treason (crime that is intended to, and does, endanger the continued functioning of the Constitution itself*), and Mr. Obama is now being actively investigated, as possibly having done this. The Russiagate investigation, which had formerly focused against the current US President, has reversed direction and now targets the prior President. Although he, of course, cannot be removed from office (since he is no longer in office), he is liable under criminal laws, the same as any other American would be, if he committed any crime while he was in office.
A December 17th order by the FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) Court severely condemned the performance by the FBI under Obama, for having obtained, on 19 October 2016 (even prior to the US Presidential election), from that Court, under false pretenses, an authorization for the FBI to commence investigating Donald Trump’s Presidential campaign, as being possibly in collusion with Russia’s Government. The Court’s ruling said:

What we need our president to do is be a unifier, a calming positive voice, reminding us of what we have in common as Americans. That’s what presidents have done for generations. We’ve missed that. And the hateful speech even if it’s not inciting specific violence, let’s face it, we have seen these violent forces emboldened. We saw it in Charlottesville. We’ve seen it all over the country. And we’ve got to be honest about it without falling into a partisan battle to say something is different in recent years. I’ll be the first to say there were other problems before that. There were campus shootings and other horrible things, but the connection to racial and ethnic motivation, that has been growing in the last few years, and that’s what we’ve got to stop."

I have an old San Francisco tome, first written in 1973, that goes into all the highs then admitted to be explored. The last edit was 1990. It seems he is just dipping into it. Most of the highs are about 1 page of detail and document goes on for near 1000 pages. Perhaps he needs a copy to start real experimental escapism and advocacy?

Pete is not the kind of guy who has to worry what effect his policies will have on children who are not yet mature enough to resist the pressure they will get to take these drugs. We know that most nicotine addicts started using when they were in their early to mid teens. If a kid grows to a certain age without trying it, odds are they never will. But when meth, coke, ecstasy and opiods are legal then kids will be exposed to them. They'll be dropping dead in the classrooms and playgrounds.

We should create toddler cities in which folks voluntarily check in, have a roof over their head, 3 meals a day, decent housing, and even the drugs of their choice in exchange for their right to vote (if you check out you lose the right to vote at the next big election to avoid check-in/check-outs to abuse the system). Not only is Psilocybe cyanescens more potent it has different effects from that of Psilocybe cubensis. It comes on quicker, in 5 to 15 minutes when chewed in the mouth, instead of the 15-30 minutes required for Psilocybe cubensis. It also peaks quicker, in about 1 to 1 1/2 hours, instead of 2 to 2 1/2 hours for Psilocybe cubensis. Its also somewhat sedating (perhaps do to the 4-OH-T content), while Psilocybe cubensis is very stimulating. Its also less exciting, less euphoric, but more relaxing and peaceful. Its also much more visual and more "psychedelic" or mind-altering and much more dreamlike. Repeated use during a day can make you very drowsy and can make it very easy for you to fall asleep, while repeated use of Psilocybe cubensis will make you very alert and cause difficulty in falling asleep. Clearly, the relaxing quality of Psilocybe cyanescens is its hallmark, making it a nice alternative to the stimulating amphetamine-like psychedelics such as LSD, peyote, exstacy, and Psilocybe cubensis (which is the least stimulating of the bunch). Some people dislike stimulants very much, for them Psilocybe cyanescens is the choice to make when deciding on which one to use. Other people dislike sedatives and would therefor not much enjoy the effects of Psilocybe cyanescens.
Although Psilocybe cyanescens is mellow its not as "friendly" as Psilocybe cubensis. It tends to be weirder and more "trippy", "emotional" and "empathogenic". Psilocybe cubensis almost always makes you feel euphoric, which causes the "trip" to be very positive. Its very hard to become depressed while "high" on Psilocybe cubensis because of its euphoric qualities. While "high" on Psilocybe cyanescens you don't have that nice euphoria to keep you in a good mood during the trip. Its not a "feel good" mushroom, while Psilocybe cubensis is. Small doses of Psilocybe cubensis are very euphoric without any hallucinogenic effects; while small doses of Psilocybe cyanescens have only hallucinogenic effects, and no noticeable sedation.
Note: The effects of most dreamogenic mushrooms are much better when the blue diquinone content is destroyed.
[Culttture.com] One America News (OAN) is in court against MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow in a $10 million lawsuit after Maddow said her conservative competitor "really, literally is paid Russian propaganda."
Now, Maddow is arguing in court that her words should not be taken as fact.
Her actual legal defense, put out in a motion by her lawyer Theodore Boutrous Jr., reads: "...the liberal host was clearly offering up her ’own unique expression’ of her views to capture what she saw as the ’ridiculous’ nature of the undisputed facts. Her comment, therefore, is a quintessential statement ’of rhetorical hyperbole, incapable of being proved true or false.’"
During one of her MSNBC segments, Maddow claimed, "In this case, the most obsequiously pro-Trump right wing news outlet in America is really literally is paid Russian propaganda," and added, "Their on-air politics reporter (Kristian Rouz) is paid by the Russian government to produce propaganda for that government."
Leaving aside that Maddow now says her words should not be believed as fact, a linguistics professor’s testimony is leading observers to believe Maddow is also now lying in court.
UC Santa Barbara linguistics professor Stefan Thomas Gries said, "it is very unlikely that an average or reasonable/ordinary viewer would consider the sentence in question to be a statement of opinion."
Gries added that, "I am the second most widely-cited cognitive linguist and sixth most widely-cited living corpus linguist. The field of cognitive linguistics draws from both linguistics and psychology and studies how language interacts with cognition."
After analyzing Maddow’s segment and identifying and analyzing linguistic markers including words, tone, and cadence used by Maddow, Gries found "Maddow did not use any typical opinion-markers when she stated that OAN ’really literally is paid Russian propaganda.’"
OAN host Jack Posobiec tweeted at Maddow after she made her defamatory remarks, writing "Do you understand how defamation laws work? Please feel free to respond to our lawyers."
OAN's lawsuit also named MSNBC, Comcast, and NBC Universal Media as defendants, and accuses Comcast, MSNBC's parent company, of "anti-competitive censorship" because the network refuses to carry OAN as part of its cable package.

MSNBC should lose twice that amount, plus legal fees. Maddow was perfectly fine portraying her broadcast as serious, hard-hitting fact-based journalism, well, at least until the first lawsuit was filed.

Some liberal friends watch MSNBC to get their news. They take it as gospel. The fact that Rachel Madcow's words should not be taken as fact according to her attorney will not make a dent on them as they are Dem Kool Ade drinkers.

a practiced liar, knowingly spreading false accusations of treason every night in order to attract millions of moonbeams and earn for her tens of millions of dollars each year from her employer Comcast;

I don't know any normal, sentient person who peppers his/her assertions with "really, literally."
But if I did meet such a person, I would conclude that the use of this redundant, intensive modifier is designed to underscore the speaker's belief that he or she is asserting an indisputable, material fact by using this extremely rare linguistic construction.
