once offered to plant disparaging stories about Rose McGowan in order to discredit the actress’ sexual assault accusation against Harvey Weinstein, according to a new book.
In a December 2016 memo, Bloom told the pervy producer she could “help you against the Roses of the world, because I have represented so many of them,” according to excerpts of “She Said: Breaking the Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite a Movement,” published Sunday by The New York Times.

Will Rose McGowan ever learn that her side of the spectrum is filled with horrible people and liars and thus maybe what they say about Conservatives cannot be trusted....
[NBC] Trump fires John Bolton as national security adviser
"I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House," Trump tweeted Tuesday.
President Donald Trump has fired National Security Adviser John Bolton after a string of disagreements between the two over how the U.S. should handle North Korea and Iran.
Trump announced on Twitter that he had asked for Bolton's resignation, which he received this morning, after the president had "disagreed with many of his suggestions."
“I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House. I disagreed strongly with many of his suggestions, as did others in the Administration, and therefore I asked John for his resignation, which was given to me this morning,” Trump said on Twitter.
....I asked John for his resignation, which was given to me this morning. I thank John very much for his service. I will be naming a new National Security Advisor next week.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 10, 2019
Ambassador Bolton sends me a text message just now: “Let’s be clear, I resigned, having offered to do so last night.”
But yes, Bolton's exit will definitely impact Trump admin's Iran policy. Trump-Rouhani summit is being considered very seriously - and I'm in fact told that it is already finalized. Bolton would have had no role in that, so from that perspective his exit makes sense.
Indian govt should be happy with Bolton's exit. Bolton was not very pro-India and he opposed India's bid for UNSC membership as well as India-US nuclear deal. Bolton was also somewhat pro-Pakistan and opposed hard stance against Pakistan. https://t.co/su2mIqlJyY
Question : now that @AmbJohnBolton is gone does that mean the President can foresee a meeting btw him and The Iranian leader later this month (at UN) @SecPompeo says "Sure. The President has made it clear he's prepared to meet with no preconditions"
• Bolton doesn’t show up • Pompeo defends Trump firing • Mnuchin announces sanctions on 15 leaders, entities include QF & Hezbollah, PIJ, others • Trump prepared to meet Rouhani with no preconditions
Let me be clear: I think many of Bolton's views are borderline dangerous. But he was the ONLY remaining member of the president's inner circle who knew anything about strategic affairs. If you think things have been chaotic to this point, just wait… https://t.co/nX6D8zvLrz

I heard he was the one who advised against meeting the talibaners. For some reason, the idea of 'image' is more important to Bolton than actual strategy.
Gen. John Keene and Frank Gaffney are good replacements ?

Yes, Bolton was against the Taliban, murders of many US Troops signing a "peace" agreement at Camp David when the Madrassas did not teach them to read, or write, or the proper definition of such words as Peace.
#5
That is something that needs to be avenged, and the best vengeance can be effected only when the troops are out of there. Bolton wanted the troops to stay.
This 'managing of expectations' is what Trump is tired of, I think. Obviously he wants to exit the hellhole completely.
[Breitbart] A website and eventbrite.com promoted rallies in Washington, DC, and other cities across the country to take place Monday to push for the impeachment of President Donald Trump ‐ but no one showed up for the one at the Capitol.
The website, impeachmentaugust.org, said the protest would take place at 11:00 a.m. at 1st Street SE, which is near the House side of the Capitol. The website states that the protest is supported by several leftist and anti-Trump groups, including Indivisible, MoveOn, Need to Impeach, Stand Up America, March of Truth, By the People, Common Cause, Free Speech for People, Democracy for America, Progressive Democrats of America, Credo, and democrats.com.

[LAWANDCRIME] The owner of right-leaning cable news channel One America News Network (OANN) has filed a defamation lawsuit against Rachel Maddow and others claiming that the 46-year-old liberal commentator "maliciously and recklessly" smeared the network as a Russian state propaganda outlet.
In a blurb obtained by Law&Crime, attorneys for OANN’s owner Herrring Networks, Inc. said they filed a $10 million defamation lawsuit against Maddow, Comcast Corporation, NBC Universal and MSNBC in a Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, federal court.
The lawsuit tracks a series of longstanding grievances between OANN and Comcast.
According to the blurb, the complaint alleges that Comcast refused to carry the right-wing network because OANN "counters the liberal politics of its own channel, MSNBC." One week after that, OANN’s founder Charles Herring sent an open email to Comcast deriding their alleged "anti-competitive censorship."
Maddow apparently responded in turn, defending her own network’s owners by blasting OANN and telling her own audience the right-wing network "really literally is paid Russian propaganda."
OANN’s lawsuit asserts that Maddow‐as well as the other named corporate defendants‐knew the liberal host’s statement was false and that Maddow acted both maliciously and recklessly when she made it. This language mirrors the legal definition of defamation under California statutory and case law.
The lawsuit further alleges that Maddow’s xenophobic broadside against OANN was intended to damage the conservative network’s business and reputation. Additionally, the lawsuit claims that Maddow targeted the competing network for retaliation over their allegations that Comcast was acting in an anti-competitive manner.
Attorney Skip Miller is a partner with Miller Barondess, LLP in Los Angeles.
In comments obtained by Law&Crime, Miller reiterated the anti-factual nature of Maddow’s Russian jab at the right-wing network.
"One America is wholly owned, operated and financed by the Herring family in San Diego," Miller said. "They are as American as apple pie. They are not paid by Russia and have nothing to do with the Russian government. This is a false and malicious libel, and they’re going to answer for it in a court of law."
It seems awfully odd that this is being revealed now...
Story's bullshit. CIA denies it this AM. CNN gets (willingly) played
[IsraelTimes] The United States in 2017 successfully pulled one of its top spies inside the Russian government from the country, after US intelligence officials were alarmed by President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... discussing highly classified information on a secret Israeli mission in Syria with Russian officials, CNN reports, citing multiple Trump administration officials.
The report says the then-CIA director told other officials that too much information was being shared by Trump regarding the covert source. The spy was extracted in a complex mission after it was determined he was in danger.
That was done after Trump in May 2017 met Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and then-Russian ambassador to the US Sergey Kislyak in the Oval Office.
A Vanity Fair report from November of that year said during the meeting, Trump discussed details of a daring top-secret mission into northern Syria by Israel’s Mossad spy agency and elite Sayeret Matkal commando unit to prevent Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... attacks, sticking a dagger into the robust Israeli-American intelligence-sharing apparatus.
Though Trump didn’t reveal information on the US asset in Moscow, intelligence officials decided to pull him out, in part out of fear that Trump would reveal details on that as well, CNN says.
At what point post-disappearance do you suppose the Russians figured out that the spy in question (spies are by definition not gentlemen, of course) was more than he appeared, dear Reader?

Fake news from the coup plotters. If you read the linked article (CNN) to the end it says:
Those concerns grew in early 2017 after the US intelligence community released its public report on Russian meddling in the 2016 election, which said Putin himself ordered the operation. The intelligence community also shared a classified version of the report with the incoming Trump administration, and it included highly protected details on the sources behind the intelligence. Senior US intelligence officials considered extracting at least one Russian asset at the time but did not do so, according to the former senior intelligence official.
I.e. It was the intel agencies' attempts to discredit the new President that endangered the asset.

Not the first time CNN has been caught in peddling a fable. On 7 June 1998 a controversial version of the above events was broadcast during the premiere of the Cable News Network's NewsStand CNN & Time in a report entitled "Valley of Death". The segment alleged that Operation Tailwind had been devised simply to eliminate a group of Americans who had defected to the enemy and were holed up in a Laotian village.(Wiki: Operation Tailwind)

Obvious BS. Trump is Putin's nightmare. Trump has:
pulled out of the ABM Treaty - a massive strategic defeat for Russia.
Under Trump, we've sold our most potent missile defense system to both Poland and Sweden. He reversed Obama's policy of refusing lethal military aid to Ukraine. He reversed Obama's Syria policy and directly confronted Russia on the ground, killing scores of Russian mercenaries and soldiers in Syria.
He tripled defense initiatives to deter Russian aggression in Europe, staged maneuvers on Russia's borders, increased the anti-Russian defense budget by ~50%.
Trump sanctioned ~40 oligarchs and Russian officials, expanded the Magnitsky sanctions list, closed consulates & diplomatic annexes, expelled 60 diplomats.
For this idiotic Trump = Putin's Puppet narrative to be true, Putin would have to be either suicidal or a completely incompetent fool or a traitor to his own country.
[NYPOST] President Trump on Monday went after the latest longshot to challenge him in the 2020 Republican primary, mocking former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford for his extramarital affair with a "Flaming Dancer."
"When the former Governor of the Great State of South Carolina, @MarkSanford, was reported missing, only to then say he was away hiking on the Appalachian Trail, then was found in Argentina ...a country located on the other side of the Deep South. It is covered with Pampers and inhabited by Grouchos, who dance the Tangle. They used to have some islands called the Malvinas located where the Falklands are now. They're not supposed to cry for Evita... with his Flaming Dancer friend, it sounded like his political career was over," Trump posted on Twitter.
"It was, but then he ran for Congress and won, only to lose his re-elect after I Tweeted my endorsement, on Election Day, for his opponent. But now take heart, he is back, and running for President of the United States," the president continued.
He concluded by referring to his challengers as "The Three Stooges" who are "badly failed candidates."
Sanford announced he would run against Trump during an appearance on "Fox News Sunday," joining former Massachusetts Gov. William Weld and former Illinois Rep. Joe Walsh seeking the Republican nomination.

Walk into any roadside tavern and loudly state those sentiments out loud along highway 51 in Tennessee....and see what it gets you. Then when your face heals up, drive South to Georgia and do it again for a free funeral, The best place to go first would be the road going to Alabama through Powder Springs from Atlanta. Just any bar from Mableton going West toward central Alabama. And those people are the salt of the Earth Americans.

Turn it over? Yah, but only to check that the bipod is securely fastened. Then you can have it...muzzle first... did I mention the circa 1917 German "Butcher" bayonet?

I see three things happening. (1) Some folks give up their guns rather than fight the system (2) Some folks declare their weapons stolen. Fill out a police report and basically hide their guns, police don't ask too many questions. (3) Some folks start shooting.
I don't know the percentages of each but I bet any kind of turn over your guns is made voluntary hoping to capture (1) and pretend its a big success.

As I understand it, ruprecht, 3% of the population were actively involved in American Revolution.
Debated the percentage that actually took up arms. The percentage is much higher when you take into account those that supplied, supported and worked against Tories. Based on known events and modern day conflicts, some 35% supported the revolution. 30-35% were Tories and the rest just wanted to be left alone.
