David Hogg: Today’s Mass Shootings Stem from America’s ‘Indigenous Mass Shootings’ and ‘White Supremacy’
|
[BREITBART] Friday on MSNBC’s All In, dipshit March for Our Lives co-founder David Hogg discussed what he believed was the origin of mass shootings in the United States.
Hogg said, "I think it comes down to reckoning with our history and our history of white supremacy in the United States. The fact that we live in a post-genocidal society oftentimes that was orchestrated by the United States government in that if we want to talk about mass shootings, we need to recognize the massive number of indigenous mass shootings that was conducted by the United States government.....I think back to the battle of Wounded-Knee and the several hundred Native Americans, predominately men, woman, and children... | I think back to the battle of Wounded-Knee
"I was there, you know."
and the several hundred Native Americans,
Back in them days they wuz Injuns...
predominately men, woman, and children
... but cows, too, and doggies, and cats, and field mice, and a half dozen buffalo, and some moneys, and a whale...
that were slaughtered by the United States government back in the nineteenth century.
One word: Comanche.
Another word: Apache.
Another word: Algonquin.
Another word: Lakota.
Two more words: General Custer.
Another two: Simon Girty.
Whatever happened to Virginia Dare, the first white baby born in the Jamestown colony? Hint: Powhattan. Maybe Croatan. Whichever, she's dead now.
And that French guy, who decided to go live among the Noble Savages, and ended up getting scalped so he went back to La Belle France. Lucky for him, people still wore wigs back in those days, but still...
Perhaps young Master Hogg should read up on the actual history of the Plymouth and Jamestown Colonies, instead of watching the Walt Disney version of things. Pocahontas was eleven years old when she rescued John Smith. I'd be surprised if she actually sang to the animals.
And how that is never discussed as a mass shooting.
It was a stoopid and brutal military operation.
And that was wrong because those people were not armed, and we were stealing their land."
Actually they were being disarmed, some were still armed, and the fight started accidentally. It was a battle, even though vastly unequal. Sand Creek was a more deliberate massacre. Mostly women and children and the elderly, for which Col. Chivington, the commander, was at least reprimanded (I don't recall if he was dismissed or not. Probably not, since the Civil War was on.) But the govt shooting up even partially armed people defending their land sounds like a really good argument in favor of the Second Amendment.
