[POLITICO] Remington Christopher Steele, the former British spy behind the infamous "dossier" on President Donald Trump ...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons...... ’s ties to Russia, was interviewed for 16 hours in June by the Justice Department’s internal watchdog, according to two people familiar with the matter.
The interview is part of an ongoing investigation that the Justice Department’s inspector general, Michael Horowitz, has been conducting for the past year. Specifically, Horowitz has been examining the FBI’s efforts to surveil a one-time Trump campaign adviser based in part on information from Steele, an ex-British MI6 agent who had worked with the bureau as a confidential source since 2010.
Horowitz’s team has been intensely focused on gauging Steele’s credibility as a source for the bureau. But Steele was initially reluctant to speak with the American Sherlocks because of the potential impropriety of his involvement in an internal DOJ probe as a foreign national and retired British intelligence agent.
Steele’s allies have also repeatedly noted that the dossier was not the original basis for the FBI’s probe into Trump and Russia.
The extensive, two-day interview took place in London while Trump was in Britannia for a state visit, the sources said, and delved into Steele’s extensive work on Russian interference efforts globally, his intelligence-collection methods and his findings about Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, who the FBI ultimately surveilled. The FBI’s decision to seek a surveillance warrant against Page ‐ a warrant they applied for and obtained after Page had already left the campaign ‐ is the chief focus of the probe by Horowitz.
The interview was contentious at first, the sources added, but Sherlocks ultimately found Steele’s testimony credible and even surprising. The takeaway has irked some U.S. officials interviewed as part of the probe ‐ they argue that it shouldn’t have taken a foreign national to convince the inspector general that the FBI acted properly in 2016. Steele’s American lawyer was present for the conversation.

The fact that she's a Dem should have been the first clue.
It's sad to see how easily fooled people on the Right are, just because somebody was in the military, or because of a desire to white knight for a pretty (for a politician) face.

Oh shit ! Forgot to resize.
Also, the leaders of the Hare Krishna cult call a Shri Hitler a patriotic German and deny the holocaust. In short they're all loons. And she's a loon. She's just managed to hold a facade of normalcy for a long time.

Just a silly meme. She does her swearing ceremonies with a Gita.
She's an adherent of the Hare Krishna Cult. Her guru is this guy. Calls himself some silly name, but he's actually Chris Butler the cultist. Here's an insider's look at Tulsi Gabbard's Real World.
[ABCNews] A federal appeals court on Wednesday handed President Donald Trump a legal victory, dismissing a lawsuit accusing the president of illegally profiting from his Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C., by accepting money from foreign governments.
The attorneys general from Maryland and the District of Columbia had brought the case, arguing that the president violated a constitutional clause that prohibits elected officials from doing business with foreign governments without permission from Congress.
But an appeals court panel ruled the attorneys general lacked standing to bring the lawsuit.
[THEHILL] Rep. Justin Amash ...pretend Republican congressman from Michigan, who probably won't be there come 2020... (Mich.) officially filed as an Independent with the House clerk on Tuesday, one day after he submitted a letter formally resigning from the Republican conference and his position on the House Oversight and Reform Committee.
His change in party affiliation is expected to be reflected for the first time during Tuesday evening’s vote series.
Amash ‐ a staunch critic of President Trump ‐ announced his exit from the GOP in a July 4 op-ed in The Washington Post.
Tensions between the Michigan politician and the Republican Party began to escalate after he announced his support for initiating impeachment proceedings.

Working on a book deal? There is no chance he would ever get elected, so get some donor's money for his retirement, and an advance on a book?

Should have pretended to be a republican until the 2024 elections. He might have gotten someone to listen to him in the post-Trump era but now he’s a squeaky voice in a crowd of screaming zealots.

Paleo and Syrian Christian parents. No wonder he's messed up. Read up on him at Wikipedia, and see he's all over the place, politcally. Libertarian, but a firm believer in the Constitution. So he says. Could be the only sane one in DC.

Interesting, Bobby. After reading his Wikipedia page, it seems to me that he was doing fine — albeit clung a little too closely to his ideals rather than engage in the kind of dealing necessary to get things done — until Donald Trump was elected. But in the end being a NeverTrumper was more important, which is not an effective position.
BREAKING NEWS: Gerstenmaier is out as head of HEOMD. Ken Bowersox is taking over as Acting. Gerstenmaier is being detailed to work with NASA Deputy Morhard. Bill Hill is also out.
One final note. First of all, credit to Gerst. He cared about NASA and worked very hard. His replacement is Ken Bowersox. Some will note he was SpaceX’s first real astronaut hire. But I’m not sure that means a whole lot in the grand scheme of things.
My best guess is that while Gerst is a fine man he is hardly an outside the box thinker. Someone has decided that NASA needs to get outside the box. Look for some changes.
[Breitbart] Attorney Harmeet Dhillon, known for her work defending Andy Ngo and James Damore, launched a new legal nonprofit, Publius Lex, aimed at protecting civil rights for all Americans, including conservatives who are the frequent target of far-left activists and corporations.
Dhillon is the attorney for Andy Ngo, the journalist who was hospitalized with a brain hemorrhage by Death Eater "Antifa ...the armed wing of the Democratic Party... " activists in Portland two weeks ago. Her firm is also waging a class-action lawsuit against Google on behalf of former employees who allege the company discriminates against non-progressives and against white and Asian males.
A judge recently ruled that the case against Google can proceed to discovery.
She also won a lawsuit in Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, against Yvette Felarca, a prominent Antifa activist who filed a frivolous lawsuit against the Berkeley College Republicans. Thanks to Dhillon’s lawsuit, a judge ordered Felarca to pay $11,000 to former College Republican president Troy Worden.
Dhillon’s new non-profit, Publius Lex, aims to gather financial contributions to protect the civil liberties of all Americans, in an era when they are increasingly under attack by radical activists and "woke" corporations like Google and Facebook.
On Twitter, Dhillon said that the first case taken up by Publius Lex will be Andy Ngo’s.
"Over the past few years I have noticed a distinct gap in the civil rights community, with many of the clients I wanted to represent not fitting within the parameters of the legacy civil rights establishment," said Dhillon in a comment to Breitbart News.
"The ACLU no longer seems to care about the First Amendment or religious liberties; some of the religious nonprofits I’ve worked with have focused on trendy issues, and no one seems to speak for many Americans who feel their fundamental natural and civil rights being violated."
"So I started Publius Lex to provide legal support for Americans whose civil rights are being violated and who are underserved in today’s America."
