[DAWN] Senior Afghan Taliban ...Arabic for students... officials including the group's top political advisor met with Afghan political figures in Moscow on Tuesday, saying they were committed to peace in Afghanistan ‐ even as US-led talks appear to have stalled. "we're getting killed out there"
In a message the Taliban have not altered since talks with the US started last autumn, Taliban co-founder and political leader Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar said the hard boyz want an end to 18 years of conflict ‐ but would only sign a deal after foreign forces quit Afghanistan.
The Taliban are "really committed to peace, but think the obstacle for peace should be removed first", Baradar said in a rare televised appearance at the start of the two-day meeting marking 100 years of diplomatic ties between Russia and Afghanistan.
"The obstacle is the occupation of Afghanistan, and that should end," Baradar added.
Baradar ‐ who helped Mullah Mohammad Blinky Omar ... a minor Pashtun commander in the war against the Soviets who made good as leader of the Taliban. As ruler of Afghanistan, he took the title Leader of the Faithful. The imposition of Pashtunkhwa on the nation institutionalized ignorance and brutality in a country already notable for its own fair share of ignorance and brutality. Died of an unspecified ailment in a Pak hospital... found the Taliban ‐ was appointed its political chief in January following his release from a Pakistain prison.
Tuesday's Moscow meeting once again cut out senior members of President Ashraf Ghani ...former chancellor of Kabul University, now president of Afghanistan. Before returning to Afghanistan in 2002 he was a scholar of political science and anthropology. He worked at the World Bank working on international development assistance. As Finance Minister of Afghanistan between July 2002 and December 2004, he led Afghanistan's attempted economic recovery until the Karzais stole all the money. .. 's government, which the Taliban consider a US-backed puppet regime, though the head of the Kabul administration's high peace council had been slated to attend.
Other Afghan politicians ‐ including former president Hamid Maybe I'll join the Taliban Karzai ...A product, and probably the sole product, of the Southern Alliance... and candidates challenging Ghani in a presidential election slated for September ‐ were also present.

He stabbed his neighbor in 2016, but the knife he used was bought with the intention "to kill Jewish university students."
Ihsas Khan, a terrorist who stabbed a man in Sydney’s south-west planned to kill the students in what he called a "Dire Revenge" attack for the way Paleostinians are treated, The Australian Jewish News reported.
Khan took the witness stand during a sentencing hearing last week in which the local paper reported him as saying, "I was planning on using it on Jewish students in the university to kill them. Just people wearing the Jewish head gear, the kippah,"
"I was filled with hatred," he said. "It was Dire Revenge for what was happening in Paleostine."
He also reportedly told the court during his trial that he wanted to be "a martyr."
Khan was found guilty by a jury earlier this month of committing an act of terrorism against his neighbor, grandfather Wayne Greenhalgh, whom he attacked while Greenhalgh was in his driveway. Khan is facing life in jail.

[DAWN] Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code — a law concerning the maintenance of public order — was imposed in South Waziristan tribal district on Monday evening in the "wake of public safety" and in order to maintain the law and order situation in the area.
An order imposing Section 144, issued by Nauman Afzal Afridi, the deputy commissioner of South Waziristan tribal district, came into effect on Monday immediately for a month.
The order stated that reports were received that "certain elements are resorting to objectionable, prejudicial, hate speeches against the state institutions in public gatherings, assemblies and processions which are likely to disturb the public peace and law and order situation" of the area.
"... In my opinion there are sufficient grounds to proceed under Section 144 CrPC to prevent all such gatherings, processions and rallies prejudicial to public peace and tranquillity," the order added.
In order to maintain law and order in the region, and in reference to the prevailing law and order situation in the district as well as in order to ensure the security of property and lives of the general public, as per the order, a complete ban under Section 144 was to be imposed on:
Ban on all such gatherings, rallies and processions in the limits of South Waziristan tribal district
Ban on delivering provocative and objectionable speeches
Ban on carrying and displaying all kinds of arms/ammunition and other lethal weapons cudgel, swords, spears, bludgeons, guns knives and any other articles which is capable of being used for causing physical violence and the carrying of any corrosive substance or explosives, carrying and collection or preparation of stones or other missiles or instruments of means of casting or impelling missiles in public places

[DAWN] Mirpurkhas police on late Monday registered a blasphemy case against a veterinary doctor in Phuladiyon and took him into custody.
The doctor, who is from the Hindu community, was accused of blasphemy after a man alleged that he had provided medicines wrapped in paper that he claimed "had Koranic verses printed on them".
The man who had received these medicines for his livestock informed a local holy man Mohammad Ishaq Nohri, who then registered a complaint with Phuladiyon police in Sindhri cop shoppe, said Mirpurkhas DIG Saqib Ismail Memon. In his statement to the police, Nohri claimed that he found damaged pages of Islamic books at the vet's clinic.
DIG Memon said that a first investigation report was registered against the doctor under sections 295-A (deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) and 295-B (defiling, etc., of Holy Koran) of the Pakistain Penal Code.
Phuladiyon is situated 40km away from Mirpurkhas and according to an estimate, the total population of this area is around 6,000 to 7,000 people with a majority of Hindu citizens, according to BBC Urdu.
As word spread about the incident, riots broke out in the area and according to DIG Memon, a mob burnt down the doctor's shop, a cabin that belonged to his brother, and a cycle of violence.
DIG Memon said that the mob also tried to attack the cop shoppe and damaged its door in the process. Six suspects were taken into custody for rioting and damaging the vet's property.
A source within the police department said that the doctor was taken into custody as there was fear that he may be harmed by the mob. Police, while speaking to BBC Urdu, said that the doctor says "all this is a mistake".
Mirpurkhas SHO Javed Iqbal told BBC Urdu that the people that attacked the doctor's practice neither had love for Islam nor for their neighbours, "they were just miscreants".

[Jpost] Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, fired more than one anti-tank missile toward Israeli civilians during the last round of fighting between the two, the head of the IDF’s Southern Command Maj.-Gen. Hertzi Halevy said on Tuesday.
Only one of the anti-tank missiles struck a target, said Halevy, who was speaking at the third international law conference in Herzliya, adding that the Kornet anti-tank missile that killed Moshe Feder near Kibbutz Erez earlier in May was fired from a multi-story residential building in Beit Hanun in the northern Gazoo Strip.
"Any place is okay to launch rockets from Gazoo’s civilian homes and school yards ‐ wherever they have human shields ‐ meanwhile Israelis need to run for shelter," Halevy told the audience of top foreign military and academic experts on the laws of war from around the world.

[Breitbart] The number of casualties at the hands of radical Islamists during this year’s Ramadan hit a grim milestone at the end of the holy month’s third week, with over 100 attacks in nearly 20 countries that killed 531 people and maimed 556 others, a Breitbart News count shows.
So far this year, jihadis have killed 25 people and maimed about 26, on average, each day since Ramadan began at sunset on May 5. The holy period is expected end at sundown on June 4.

[ALMASDARNEWS] The Assyrian members of the pro-government National Defense Forces (NDF) and Gozarto Protection Forces (GPF) will remain armed in northeastern Syria, a Syrian military source told al-Masdar News.
According to the source, the NDF and GPF will continue to control checkpoints inside of al-Hasakah, despite previous claims that the Syrian Army would redeploy troops to this province.
The source continued that these forces are battle-tested and well-armed, adding that they work closely with the army inside of al-Hasakah.
The NDF has been active in al-Hasakah since 2014; they are made up of both Arab, Armenian, and Assyrian locals. Meanwhile, ...back at the pound, the little lost dog had finished eating the rat terrier... the Gozarto Protection Forces are exclusively local Assyrians from the al-Qamishli District.
The GPF, formerly known as the Sootooro, has participated in several battles in northeastern and eastern Syria, including the battle for al-Qamishli, al-Hasakah, Deir Ezzor, and Quraytayn.

[Jpost] The Islamic Theocratic Republic of Iran is committed to a program of weapons of mass destruction, the domestic intelligence agency for the southern German state of Bavaria said in its May 2019 intelligence report.
The hair-raising section of the report reviewed by The Jerusalem Post states Iran’s regime is "making efforts to expand its conventional arsenal of weapons with weapons of mass destruction."
Iran was termed a "risk country" in the 335-page document outlining serious threats to the security and democracy of the state of Bavaria.
The domestic intelligence agency’s formal name is the Bavarian Office for the Protection of the Constitution in its intelligence report. FoxNews.com first reported on Tuesday that the Bavarian intelligence agency issued a report that "accuses the Islamic Theocratic Republic of seeking to build weapons of mass destruction." Although the report was published in May, it covers intelligence gathered in 2018.
The intelligence report defines weapons of mass destruction as "the spread of atomic, biological, chemical weapons of mass destruction."
We know the Iranian regime is on the hunt for money to fund their malign activities, and so it is imperative that the US and our European allies work together to deny this regime the capital they seek," US Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell told FoxNews.com. "They will use secretive schemes and dark money; we must be vigilant. They are strapped for cash."

"In order to obtain the necessary know-how and corresponding components, these states [Iran, North Korea, Pakistain] are trying to establish business contacts to companies in highly technological countries like Germany," said the Bavarian intelligence report in its section on weapons of mass destruction.
The report noted that the country’s criminal customs police prevented an electronic beam-welding machine from being sold to Iran.
"The machine can be used for the production of [missile] launch vehicles," said the document.
According to the report, extensive attempts were made "to disguise the actual customer in Iran" with respect to the machine. The real end-user was in Iran but the illicit activity said the end-user company was in Malaysia. The efforts to illegally bypass German export control regulations resulted in a criminal conviction of the director of the Bavarian-based company that sought to sell the welding machine to Iran.
The Bavarian agency said it will continue "to monitor whether Iran consistently and consequently complies with the agreement signed in July 2015."
German Chancellor Angela Merkel ...chancellor of Germany and the impetus behind Germany's remarkably ill-starred immigration program. Merkel used to be referred to by Germans as Mom. Now they make faces at her for inundating the country with Moslems .. and her Social Democratic Foreign Minister Heiko Maas remain wedded to the Iran nuclear deal. Traditionally, Germany has been Iran’s most important European trade partner, and in February, Germany’s Foreign Ministry celebrated Iran’s Islamic Revolution at Tehran’s embassy in Berlin.
Merkel appointed a German banker, Per Fischer, to head a mechanism to bypass US sanctions against Iran. The so-called special purpose vehicle mechanism is located in Gay Paree and will enable trade with Iran.
Fischer previously worked for Commerzbank. In 2015, Commerzbank agreed to pay US authorities $1.45 billion to resolve violations of Iran sanctions and other sanctioned countries.
The US has designated Iran’s regime as the top state sponsor of terrorism.

So our so called allies want to trade with Iran? For me, I see that as giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Maybe Germany, France, and perhaps the UK feel more of a need to make money off islamics who want to destroy western civilization than to work with their allies that saved their bacon in two world wars.
The crazy thing about Iran building weapons of mass destruction is that if Iran uses it they become the equivalent of fulgurites---fused glass. An expensive method of national suicide.
