[ALMASDARNEWS] Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... * bully boyz have claimed they shot down a US B-52 heavy bomber, Syrian news site Muraselon reports.
The incident purportedly took place when the aircraft was departing from the Shawrab Airbase in southern Afghanistan in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The Talibunnies really need to refrain from smoking that opium they produce while on duty.
"Mujaheddin (a militia fighter) of the Islamic Emirate targeted a US B-52 bomber with heavy weapons today early morning in Lar area in the Washir district of Helmand ...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... Province," a front man for the Taliban was quoted as saying.
The B-52 is said to have crashed after the strike, killing all of its crew. Both Afghan and US authorities are yet to comment on the matter.
On 8 April, three US service members were killed in a car kaboom on a convoy near the Bagram Air Force Base in north-eastern Afghanistan. The terror group grabbed credit for the bombing.
The Taliban emerged in 1994 at the height of a civil war in Afghanistan. The group held power in most of the country between 1996 and 2001; during this period, it introduced Islamic Sharia law.
The Taliban was ousted from power by a US-led coalition in 2001 and has since then been waging a guerrilla war against the Kabul-based government, and NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A cautionary tale of cost-benefit analysis.... forces in Afghanistan and neighbouring Pakistain.
Russia’s envoy to Afghanistan said in February that the bully boyz control at least 50 per cent of Afghanistan’s territory and their ranks include from 3,500 to 10,000 ISIS* fighters, who regularly carry out terror attacks across the country.

[DW] Police carried out raids across Germany on Wednesday targeting charities suspected of providing "financial and propaganda" support to the Paleostinian Islamist movement Hamas, a regional Iranian catspaw,, the interior ministry said.
Around 90 properties in ten states were searched, with the focus of the raids targeting the charities WWR Help and Ansaar International in North Rhine-Westphalia.
"Whoever supports Hamas under the mantle of providing humanitarian aid disregards the fundamental values of our constitution," Interior Minister Horst Seehofer said. "This also discredits the commitment of the many aid organizations that have committed themselves to neutrality under difficult circumstances."
HUMANITARIAN ORGANIZATIONS?
Founded in 2012, the Dusseldorf-based Ansaar International describes itself as an aid organization carrying out projects "for the good of Allah." It claims to have 600 members in Germany and around 2,000 around the globe.
According the organization, it provides health services, water and sanitation, orphanages and education to the needy in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Americas.
In Gazoo, the organization says it provides emergency food aid, water, electricity and schooling. WWR Help says it provides humanitarian services in Gazoo and collects donations for the Moslem holy month of Ramadan.
The interior ministry said Wednesday that some 90 properties across Germany associated with an "Islamist network" were searched on Wednesday. It said the network was headed by two groups based in the western state of North Rhine-Westphalia, WorldWide Resistance-Help and Ansaar International.
On their websites, the two groups say they raise charitable funds for Gazoo, Somalia, Syria and other countries.

Babylon (IraqiNews.com) ‐ Three Iraqi paramilitary fighters were maimed Wednesday when a kaboom rocked the ancient city of Babylon, a security source was quoted as saying.
"A roadside kaboom placed by faceless myrmidons targeted a security patrol of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) in Jurf al-Sakhar district in northern Babylon," the source told Baghdad Today website.
"The kaboom left three PMF members maimed," the source said, adding that a security force rushed to the blast site and carried the maimed into a nearby hospital for treatment.
[Rudaw] A roadside kaboom killed a tribal leader and maimed two of his relatives in the al-Shoura district south of djinn-infested Mosul ... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn... on Wednesday, local officials confirmed.
"An IED [improvised bomb] went kaboom! targeting the convoy of Sheikh Hassan al-Hadidi on Wednesday abruptly ejecting him from the gene pool and injuring his son and nephew," Khalaf al-Hadidi, a member of Nineveh Provincial Council, told Rudaw.
Security forces have set up a perimeter around the scene of the blast and the body has been removed for an appointment with Dr. Quincy, the official added.
No one has grabbed credit for the blast.

Although the city was retaken from ISIS in 2017, sleeper cells and other gangs with simmering political rivalries continue to stage attacks.
ISIS earlier posted photographs on Telegram of a Sunni Tribal Forces fighter captured by the jihadist group near the village of Sardik near Mosul. The group targets tribal leaders and village chiefs to cow the population into submission.

(ISIS) holy warrior who allegedly participated in the mass slaughter of 1,566 Shiite cadets at a camp in Speicher in 2014.
"The detachments of military intelligence in brigade 41 of division 10, in light of accurate information, captured one of the perpetrators of the terrorist Speicher crime," the Directorate of Intelligence announced in a Facebook post Wednesday.
The unnamed suspect was captured in a "successful ambush" near Fallujah’s Directorate of Traffic, it added.
Fallujah is located in Iraq’s vast desert province of Anbar, which has seen constant krazed killer activity since 2003.
The notorious Camp Speicher Massacre is considered one the jihadist group’s most brutal crimes. On June 12, 2014, about 1,566 Shiite cadets undergoing training at the camp in Tikrit were executed by ISIS holy warriors, who had initially promised them safe passage.
More than 50 people accused of taking part in the massacre have already been sentenced to death by Iraqi authorities. Thirty-six of them were hanged in August 2016.
The Directorate of Intelligence also announced Division 14’s intelligence wing captured two wanted bandidossnuffies at Dibis checkpoint in Makhmour.
Makhmour is a disputed territory between Baghdad and Erbil, home to the rugged strategic terrain of the Qarachogh Mountains where ISIS forces of Evil have dug in. Photographs seen by Rudaw appear to show ISIS forces of Evil moving around the area in broad daylight. Locals say ISIS freely moves between villages collecting food and levying taxes.
Signs of a growing insurgency are also visible in Kirkuk ‐ another disputed territory. Hashd al-Shaabi paramilitias said Tuesday they had captured two ISIS forces of Evil on the outskirts of the city.
Hashd fighters also report festivities with ISIS in Babil, forcing the forces of Evil to retreat to Jarf al-Sakhir.
"Hashd al-Shaabi forces foil an infiltration attempt of ISIS elements at Jarf al-Nasr," Hashd’s Directorate of Media said in a tweet on Wednesday. "They were countered, and a number of them were killed while the rest fled."
A Hashd fighter was also reportedly killed in a skirmish with ISIS in the Saladin-Beji area.
Although ISIS was declared defeated in Iraq in December 2017 by former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, the group has resorted to its old insurgency tactics.
ISIS forces of Evil have exploited security gaps between the Kurdish Peshmerga and Iraqi security forces. The Peshmerga withdrawal from the disputed territories in October 2017 created a power vacuum, giving forces of Evil the breathing spaces needed to regroup.

An Israeli man is lightly injured by a hammer that was thrown at his car by suspects from the Palestinian village of Tuqua as he was driving down a West Bank highway near the Tekoa settlement, officials say. The man has been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The hammer smashed through the front windshield and landed inside the car.
Troops are searching for the attackers, the army says.
Police say a Palestinian bus passenger attempted to stab crossing authority officers at the az-Za’ayyem checkpoint between Maale Adumim and Jerusalem. The officers fired in the air and managed to apprehend the suspect, a female resident of Tulkarem, before anyone was injured, the police say. The suspect has been taken for questioning.
[Jpost] A police car was hit by a molotov cocktail near the Shuafat neighborhood in Jerusalem on Wednesday night. Police are currently searching the area. The car was damaged. No injuries were reported.
[Jpost] An explosive device was thrown at a bus near the Palestinian village Jinsafut in the northern West Bank on Wednesday night, the IDF reported. The device did not explode and did not cause any injuries, but damaged the bus. The search for the perpetrator is ongoing.
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Russian military has officially withdrawn from the key town of Tal Rifa’at in the northern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate.
This move by the Russian military comes just a week after they conducted joint patrols with the Ottoman Turkish armed forces in the Tal Rifa’at area.
Despite the Russian withdrawal, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has refused to leave the town; instead, they have beefed up their defenses around Tal Rifa’at and its neighboring villages.

While Iran and Turkey are allies, they each support a separate warring party in the Syrian Conflict.
Iran and Turkey have worked out deals in the past, like the Zabadani-Kafraya agreement; this called on the Syrian military/Hezbollah to halt their offensive at Madaya and al-Zabadani in exchange for the jihadist rebels to halt their attacks on Kafraya and al-Fou’aa.

They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS/ISIS/IS/ISIS) has launched a new operation to wreak havoc on six countries where they are still present.
According to the terrorist group’s media wing, the Islamic State’s operation has been dubbed "Vengeance for Sham"; it is focused on six countries: Syria, Libya, Egypt, Niger, Somalia, and Iraq.
The terrorist group has already claimed five attacks in Syria, with most of them concentrated on the large city of Raqqa.
The Islamic State also carried out a powerful attack that targeted the U.S. Coalition forces along the al-Shaddadi Highway in the al-Hasakah Governorate.
They would also carry out simultaneous attacks in the countries of Iraq, Niger, Somalia, Libya, and Egypt.
In Libya, the Islamic State took advantage of the recent battles between the Libyan National Army and Government of National Accord near Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya.
