| Tribal leader killed in Mosul roadside bombing |

| [Rudaw] A roadside kaboom killed a tribal leader and maimed two of his relatives in the al-Shoura district south of djinn-infested Mosul ... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn... on Wednesday, local officials confirmed. "An IED [improvised bomb] went kaboom!targeting the convoy of Sheikh Hassan al-Hadidi on Wednesday abruptly ejecting him from the gene pool and injuring his son and nephew," Khalaf al-Hadidi, a member of Nineveh Provincial Council, told Rudaw. Security forces have set up a perimeter around the scene of the blast and the body has been removed for an appointment with Dr. Quincy, the official added. No one has grabbed credit for the blast. ISIS earlier posted photographs on Telegram of a Sunni Tribal Forces fighter captured by the jihadist group near the village of Sardik near Mosul. The group targets tribal leaders and village chiefs to cow the population into submission. |
