[Townhall] Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Saturday held an emergency phone call with Democratic members of Congress.
She sent her colleagues the following letter, letting them know about the call and what the dicussion would entail (emphasis mine):
Dear Democratic Colleague,
Today, we are having an emergency Caucus conference call at 3:00 p.m. E.T. to discuss the transmittal of the Mueller report to the Department of Justice (DOJ). While we do not know the substance of the report, we will have the relevant Committees of jurisdiction on the call today to update Members on where we go from here.
Leader Schumer and I yesterday issued a joint statement reiterating Democrats’ call for transparency, stating that, "Now that Special Counsel Mueller has submitted his report to the Attorney General, it is imperative for Mr. Barr to make the full report public and provide its underlying documentation and findings to Congress." Our six distinguished Committee chairs of jurisdiction also stated their call for transparency in a joint statement available here.
This transparency is even more urgent because of Attorney General Barr’s letter to the House and Senate Judiciary Committees yesterday in which he writes, "I am reviewing the report and anticipate that I may be in a position to advise [the Judiciary Committee Chairs and Ranking Members] of the Special Counsel’s principal conclusions as soon as this weekend." We are insisting that any briefings to any Committees be unclassified so that Members can speak freely about every aspect of the report and not be confined to what DOJ chooses to release publicly.
Even if DOJ chooses not to prosecute additional individuals, the underlying findings must be provided to Congress and the American people. The Attorney General’s offer to provide the Committees with a summary of the report’s conclusions is insufficient. Congress requires the full report and the underlying documents so that the Committees can proceed with their independent work, including oversight and legislating to address any issues the Mueller report may raise.
The American people deserve the truth. I have great confidence in our Committee Chairs and Members to honor our Congressional responsibility For the People.
Thank you for your leadership.
According to POLITICO, Pelosi told those on the call she believed Barr would be rather tight-lipped about what was in the report:

She knows there will be some things in the report that legally must be redacted, so by demanding full release she knows she will be able to claim a victimhood victory.
Well Fancy Pantsy Nancy, when did you ever consider the American people? And when did you ever care about transparency in government when the Demonrats were in power?
Yes, let's do have transparency. Let's take a look at it all--something that was never done during the Obama admin. Let's start with the previous 8-year admin.

Even the mainstream media will have a tough time salvaging Democrat credibility after this hoax has been revealed for what it is. Nancy knows that and she's freaking out, grasping for straws like transparency to keep her party afloat.

And, yes, there may be certain people mentioned in the report whose names will be withheld because, even though they are mentioned, Mueller couldn't find enough evidence to indict them let alone get a conviction. Nancy has no right to smear those people just because Mueller squandered so much time and money looking into their affairs.

Can't help wondering what they'd find if they spent two years and $30 million investigating Madam Pelosi.

Trump Jr has been awesome fearlessly going after the dims on Twitter during the two year investigation. Murdoch should sell Fox to him.

Obama gutted the Democrats and they loved him for it because they didn't see what was happening. Nancy continued to cover things up as best she could but that has now been exposed. Interesting times.
Unfortunately most Democrat voters seem immune to facts so the Democrats will likely survive.
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Within minutes of receiving notification that special counsel Robert Mueller had turned over his report on the Russia investigation, congressional Democrats were calling for the report to be fully released, including the underlying evidence. They have threatened subpoenas if it is not.
The demands are setting up a potential tug of war between congressional Democrats and President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... ’s administration that federal judges might eventually have to referee.

The dems really really need to watch this fun video of Trump pre-politics.

What would be really funny would be if the Mueller report had all kinds of "poison pills" in the report making recommendations for further investigations of the Dems ...and their demands for transparency would be their own undoing.
Forgive the flights of fantasy this Sunday morning.

My prediction is the American people are sick of this crap, especially now that it's a nothing burger. Attempts to drag it on will go very badly with the center very quickly.
[FOX] MSNBC host Chris Matthews expressed outrage on Friday upon hearing reports that Special Counsel Robert Mueller had completed his Russia investigation and submitted it to the attorney general -- with further indictments not expected.
Matthews began his show by summarizing the breaking news, but stressed that Mueller handed his report to the Department of Justice "without ever directly interviewing the president of the United States."
"That means no charges against the president, his children or his associates after all those meetings with the Russians," a visibly upset Matthews told his viewers.
The liberal cable news host opened the discussion to the panel, telling them his "biggest question" was "How can the president be pointed to as leading collusion with Russia, aiding a Russian conspiracy to interfere with our elections if none of his henchmen, none of his children, none of his associates have been indicted?"
NBC News national security reporter Ken Dilanian responded by telling Matthews that Trump couldn’t be indicted "in a criminal sense" since Mueller’s office "didn’t have it," adding that the president "couldn’t conspire with himself."

I can’t stand to listen to him. However I watched enough to hear him basically convict Trump, his kids and associates of baseless crimes. This chap needs to be put down.

This is the main reason I watched CNN and MSNBC during Election Night 2016, to see every single one of them flip out and get depressed / half suicidal right on camera as the reports of a Trump victory became clear. Highly recommended for 2020!

Couldn't Mueller have drug it out a little longer so we could have "Fitzmas in July?"

This behavior is so typical of the left. Psychotic and close minded. So many especially women angry and hate filled. So prone to violence as well. I keep my distance. You cannot reason with them. For myself I refer to them as zombies. The time of crossing over the isle is long gone. like Venezuela they will have to stew in their own pot of brew.
