[MSN] An Ohio man who rushed the stage at a Donald Trump rally pleaded not guilty "Wudn't me." Friday in federal court to a charge of illegally entering a restricted area.
Fairborn resident Thomas DiMassimo, 22, is accused of jumping a barricade and charging at the Republican presidential candidate March 12 at a Dayton International Airport hangar.
His attorney, Jon Paul Rion, said the Wright State University student was trying only to ensure that his political views were heard and didn't have ill intentions toward a particular person.

It's become glaringly obvious the Secret Service has decided to stop doing their job. This guy should have been ventilated and lying in a pool of blood while the rest of the detail moved Trump away.
Since they apparently can't or won't do security anymore, let the Marines do it. Sure you may have a few extra corpses from people like this, but at least you know they will take the job seriously.

If you want to have your political views heard, hold up a sign, stand on a street corner and yell it, start a blog, write an editorial to your paper, etc.
You don't do it by depriving someone else of their right to express their view. Then you are a tyrant and need to be put down.

Thanks for your statement of this not-in-the-least-bit obvious situation. Now the barely perceptible intuition I had after reading the initial accounts of the incident has become much clearer.

Was this before or after folks started punching protesters at Trump rallies? If after, it could be the secret service were told to have a light touch.
[THEHAYRIDE] Mayor Mitch Landrieu just lost a major court-battle that will demand he release lists of who is receiving lucrative city contracts.
Landrieu has been battling with the Lens after they placed a public information request for the city’s purchasing database, according to a report by Robert McClendon of NOLA.com.
The city was fighting the Lens, claiming making the list of city contractors public would include personal information and should therefore not be subject to public records requests.
But, the records being fought over normally do not include personal information, despite what the administration claimed.
Now, Landrieu’s city government must work with the Lens in releasing the purchasing database to the public, which will show just who is making tons off the city’s lucrative contracts.

City of San Diego, among others have switched to online advertising and bidding. We use Planet Bids. Other firms exist. All bidding and awarding is available to the public. It's not that hard unless you're hiding something

On our system, you can see the bids, bid item-by-bid-item, totals, and all subcontractors, so "MoonandMary General Material Suppliers" would have to show up

[THEHAYRIDE] New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu’s administration announced today that they have cut ties with former Rep. Bob Livington (R-LA), a Washington lobbyist for the city, after he endorsed GOP front-runner Donald Trump for president. Mitch is the brother of former Senator for Life Mary Landrieu. The fambly bidnid is politix...
Landrieu confirmed that the city did in fact break with Livingston, who has represented the city in Washington DC since 2009, immediately following Livington’s Trump endorsement, according to a report by the Advocate.
The Landrieu family is actively fundraising and campaigning for Democrat front-runner Hillary Clinton ... sometimes described as the Smartest Woman in the World and at other times as Mrs. Bill, never as Another Richelieu ... , telling the Advocate that the break with Livingston was because the administration wanted to "have a lobbying team that operates in a bipartisan manner and is able to deliver in a bipartisan way."
Landrieu said his cutting ties with Livingston was "mutual."
Landrieu along with his sister former Sen. Mary Landrieu (R-LA) held a fundraiser for Clinton months ago, costing attendees up to $27,ooo just to meet the former Secretary of State.
Mitch Landrieu has also attacked Trump in the past, calling his temporary pause on Muslim immigration into the US "absolutely disgraceful" and claimed the Donald has "poisonous rhetoric, which is reminiscent of David Duke’s racism."

Bernie best watch his six: just yesterday here in WA, i saw an official Obama 2016 bumper sticker.
if that is representative of the education of your basic D voter we are in big trouble...
Between Bernie and Hillary I think it's pretty hard to say which one would be the worst. Either way the average tax payer is gonna get taken to the cleaners. Bernie might be a bit less likely to get us entangled in situations like Benghazi.

Too bad the Dim ballots didn't have a box labeled "none of the above."
The outcome of that would have been quite interesting.

Depends on your strategy. You can only rebuild once the structure is down. Sometimes the system needs a good hard shove to fall rather than incremental tipping.

Hillary would at least be forced to defend her record as Secretary of State and the rise of ISIS that resulted. Bernie can attack everything with a blanket 'establishment bad' sort of hand wave and get away with it.

The LeftMedias are all focused = ga-ga on Trump-vs-Cruz, etal. + the threat of GOP-N-ONLY-THE-GOP CONTESTED/BROKERED CONVENTION, not on any similar threats faced by Hillary-vs-Bernie + DNC.

#3 Obama in 2016? No problem. POTUS M. Obama, Spouse of the US B. Obama, VPOTUS Biden, Consigliere VALJAR. Experienced team tanned, rested, and ready to go in January.
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] President Barack Obama Jedi mind meld... on Saturday urged Americans not to stigmatize Muslims following this week’s deadly attacks in Brussels, saying that doing so is "counterproductive" in the fight against radical Islam.
In his weekly media address, Obama said Muslim-Americans are "our most important partners in the nation’s fight against those who would wage violent jihad."
"That’s why we have to reject any attempt to stigmatize Muslim-Americans, and their enormous contributions to our country and our way of life," Obama said.
"Such attempts are contrary to our character, to our values, and to our history as a nation built around the idea of religious freedom. It’s also counterproductive," he said.
"It plays right into the hands of turbans who want to turn us against one another -- who need a reason to recruit more people to their hateful cause."
Obama made his remarks as the global community continues to reel from Tuesday’s attacks in Belgium, claimed by ISIS, which killed 31 dead, including two Americans, and maimed 300.
"At least 14 Americans were maimed, and we pray for their full recovery, along with everyone else affected by these attacks," Obama said.
The remarks by the Democratic president follow controversial statements in the wake of the Brussels bombings by the two top Republicans vying to succeed him in the White House.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz demanded this week that police "patrol and secure" Muslim neighborhoods in the US in the aftermath of the Brussels attacks, and reiterated an earlier call to suspend the relocation of Syrian refugees to the country.
Donald Trump, meanwhile, repeated his demand for the government to temporarily bar all Muslims from entering the US.
The billionaire real estate baron first called for a ban on entry into the US by Muslims back in December, following a deadly shooting attack in San Bernardino, Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,.

Most terrorists are Muslim, not all Muslims are terrorists. We get it . Why doesn't he? Denial? Or self-preservation among the Ummah?

'Terrorism' is a method of asymmetrical warfare.
Some Muslims are terrorists. More Muslims aren't terrorists but approve of terrorism to further islamic political objectives.
Other Muslims disapprove of terrorism and aren't terrorists themselves.
The problem is that there's a consensus among Muslims about their political objectives vs the West.
Both the OIC and Muslim terrorist organizations are demanding that the West implement elements of Sharia law within Western nations.
Mainstream consensus Islam rejects the notion of peaceful coexistence. That is the problem, not 'terrorism.'

Given his commentary about America he bleated in Cuba, he has done a lot of stigmatizing himself lately. Matthew 7:3-5
Given that American has been around a little over 200 years and your Religion of Peace over a thousand with a long record of conquest and war, certain followings gain a stigma by their actions.

Lemme get this straight. The people who are waging war on us are our most important partners in our war against the people who are waging war on us? That sounds like yet another classic example of Democrat logic.
