Experts believe that Abdul Qader Wahedi, known as Ibrahim Khurasani, acted as a front man for the Islamic State in Afghanistan. Although many have alleged that the Acting Governor was cooperating with him, Mr. Zada has categorically denied the claims.
"In regard to the corruption, many committees have visited Ghazni, and we have provided them with detailed six to seven pages of our work," he said.
MoI officials said the Taliban spokesmen apprehended this week were found in the Nerkh district of Maidan Wardak province. The three men were active in the province for a long time and served as recruiters for the Taliban.
"One of these men named Abdul Wahab, a resident of Nerkh district of Maidan Wardak province, is the brother of Mullah Abdul Salam, the commander of a group of 10 people in Maidan Wardak," MoI front man Sediq Sediqqi said. "His brother was also in charge of press related issues for the Taliban."
The media and publicity arm of the Taliban, though non-violent, is considered one of the most threatening strategic aspects of the murderous Moslem group. While the Internet and spread of telecommunications technology in Afghanistan has done much good, the use of it by krazed killer groups has allowed them to reach and recruit individuals more effectively.

NDS statement further states that one would-be suicide bomber Abadullah alias Umar is from Kamdesh District of eastern Nuristan Province and Shah Mahmood alias Hamza is from Bati Kot District of the same eastern Province of Nangarhar where the attack was planned.
According to NDS statement the attack was planned to be carried out with the assistance of a Mazda vehicle, laden with explosives.
NDS statement further states that the attackers had planned a coordinated attack at the police of 1st District of Jalalabad city also using weapons.
NDS statements usually do not contain the exact date of the event but their statements are issued about recent activities.
Nangarhar was among the comparatively safe provinces of Afghanistan but most recently it is experiencing an increase in terrorist attacks.
Last week a provincial council member was attacked and then a soldier of Afghan National Army was hanged in public in this Province.

Cairo -- Two suicide car bombs wounded six people on Saturday when officers fired on the vehicles as they approached a police station in the restive Sinai Peninsula, officials said. The brazen daytime attack occurred in the town of Sheikh Zuweid in North Sinai where security forces are battling an insurgency.
“The two cars were driven by suicide bombers who wanted to blow up the Sheikh Zuweid police station,” a security official said describing Saturday’s attack. “Security forces fired at the cars as they approached the police station. The vehicles exploded, killing the two suicide bombers.”
Two other cars that were carrying gunmen and were following the suicide bombers fled the scene, however, the official said, adding that security forces were searching for them.
Those wounded in the attack included a police officer, a policeman and four civilians, officials and medics said.
Thirty soldiers died on January 29 in near simultaneous attacks in North Sinai, the deadliest of them was in the provincial capital of El Arish when militants fired rockets and set off a suicide car bomb targeting a military base.
A similar attack launched on October 24 also near El Arish killed 30 soldiers, after which authorities imposed a state of emergency and curfew in parts of North Sinai.
Since the October attack security forces have also built a buffer zone in the town of Rafah bordering Israel and the Palestinian Gaza Strip to prevent militants from entering the peninsula.

[AnNahar] Boko Haram ... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... invaded the restive northeastern Nigerian city of Gombe on Saturday and warned residents against voting in next month's elections as the Islamists defied regional force aiming to pursue them.
Residents said the attackers later left the city and stormed another area some 40 kilometers (25 miles) away, where they burned homes.
The violence prompted the state governor to impose an around-the-clock curfew.
Witnesses said the snuffies stormed the city at around 9:00 am (0800 GMT) and advanced without any resistance from the security forces. It was unclear if there were casualties.
A Nigerian fighter jet encircled the city but did not appear to attack the murderous Moslems, said witness Kabiru Na-Gwandu, adding that he had received a call from friends outside of Gombe warning him the gunnies were on their way.
"I evacuated my house along with my family before they arrived in the city and I'm happy that I did because from information I'm receiving they have taken over the military barracks," he said.
The Boko Haram fighters called on residents to boycott elections which had originally been planned to take place on Saturday before they were postponed until March 28.
"Whoever professes Islam should distance himself from polling stations because we are going to attack polling booths," read the Boko Haram leaflets.
Residents said the gunnies in military uniforms who invaded the city in around 30 vans and on several cycle of violences later withdrew from the city unchallenged.
"They moved out of the city on their own free will and are now in Dakin-Kowa town," resident Bello Jatau said, referring to an area around 40 kilometers away.
He said fleeing residents of Dadin-Kowa were taking refuge on hilltops from where they could see Boko Haram gunnies burning their homes.
Soldiers were said to be patrolling the streets of Gombe and firing indiscriminately following the withdrawal of the murderous Moslems.
"It is flying bullets everywhere. Soldiers are just firing anyhow. A bullet pieced the wall into my kitchen but luckily we were sheltering in the bedroom," said a journalist in the city.
Gombe has been repeatedly hit by suicide kabooms and other bombings blamed on the Islamists in the six-year insurgency in Nigeria's northeast.
Locals said prior to Saturday's invasion, the faceless myrmidons had camped at Hani village, 36 kilometers from Gombe, where they preached to locals and informed them they were on their way to take over the governor's office in the city.
"They came around 6:00 am (0500 GMT) and took over the military checkpoint that was curiously abandoned by soldiers on Thursday," resident Mustapha Baba told Agence La Belle France-Presse.

He said the murderous Moslems had fled from the Galda forest in neighboring Yobe state following an offensive on their camps by Nigerian troops.
The Nigerian military last week launched a ground and aerial offensive on Boko Haram camps in the Galda forest, from where the Islamists are believed to be planning attacks in the area.
In the past few weeks, the group has stepped up its offensive both within Nigeria and against border towns of neighboring countries, forcing the postponement of the general election.

[REUTERS] Tens of thousands of Yemenis demonstrated in several cities on Saturday against the rule of the Shi'ite Muslim Houthi movement as clashes between Houthis and Sunnis in a southern mountainous region left 26 dead.
It was the second day of nationwide demonstrations against the Iranian-backed Houthis in less than a week after their dissolution of parliament this month unraveled security and sent Western and Arab embassies packing.
Houthi gunmen fired on protesters in the central town of Ibb and wounded four, medics said.
Activists said they were enraged by the death on Saturday of Saleh al-Bashiri, who they say was detained by gunmen as they broke up an anti-Houthi protest in Sanaa two weeks ago and was released to a hospital with signs of torture on his body on Thursday. There was no immediate comment from the Houthis.
The rebels, known as Houthis, were supported by army troops when they fought the rustics in Bayda province in festivities that began the night earlier. The Houthis lost 16 fighters and the rustics 10, the officials said.

Several people have been injured by shots fired near a synagogue in Copenhagen, hours after a deadly shooting at a cafe in the city. In the second shooting one person was hit in the head, and two police officers suffered arm and leg injuries. The attacker is believed to have fled.

Danish police say kill suspect in Copenhagen attacks
(Reuters) - Danish police shot and killed a man in Copenhagen on Sunday they believe was responsible for two deadly attacks at an event promoting freedom of speech and on a synagogue.

They aim to establish a pan-Arab caliphate. Fighters of Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham took over Tel Abyad in early 2013, before losing ground to the Islamic State. The groups have reportedly led forced displacement against Kurdish civilians from Tel Abyad.

[Breitbart] MCALLEN, Texas Border Patrol agents arrested a Middle-Eastern man as he tried to sneak into Texas by illegally crossing the border. The man's country of origin was not readily available.
The arrest took place earlier this week just south of the border city of Pharr, where an agent took into custody a man from a Middle Eastern country, a border patrol spokesman confirmed to Breitbart Texas. The man was then taken to the Weslaco station for processing and turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for expedited removal, a prepared statement from the agency revealed.
While not common, arrests of people from Middle Eastern and eastern countries have taken place along the Texas border.

My grandfather was actively involved in hunting these folks down. He said that you couldn't tell them apart from the local folks by just looking at them, except their spoken dialect was 'very wrong' for the places they said they were from when confronted. They were always from 'someplace else' and 'just visiting', an odd thing when most of the young men their age were overseas or working in defense plants.
Some tried to get work at the plants with false credentials, but that work was a lot of 'who do you know' and these folks didn't know anybody.
The locals were none too keen on the 'newcomers', either. Could spot them quite quickly in most cases and could be quite nasty.

[Rooters UK] - The United States is readying plans to resupply Jordan with munitions in the coming weeks, possibly including precision-guided arms, expediting support for the kingdom as it expands its role in airstrikes against the Islamic State (IS), officials say.
The State Department and Pentagon declined comment on any future moves to assist Jordan with requests for weapons. But several U.S. officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that planning was well underway to help replenish Jordan's supplies of ordnance.

(IS) fighters on Friday got to the perimeter of an air base in Iraq where U.S. and coalition forces were training Iraqi forces before being killed by Iraqi armies, the Pentagon said.
About 25 IS fighters, some wearing Iraqi uniforms, launched an attack on al-Asad air base in Iraq's Anbar Province, Pentagon front man Rear Admiral John Kirby said at a regular briefing. No coalition casualties had been reported so far, said Kirby, cautioning that reports were still preliminary.
Kirby said that initial reports indicated that about 15 IS fighters tried to breach the perimeter of the air base after several jacket wallahs detonated their vests.
Iraqi security forces patrolling the base killed all the fighters and U.S. Marines training Iraqi troops at the sprawling base were about 3.5 km away and were not involved in the fighting, he said.
The front man, however, declined to offer details on the degree to which the perimeter was breached.
Kirby also said IS fighters had taken control of al-Baghdadi, a town near the al-Asad air base.
"This is arguably the first in at least a couple of months, if not more, where they have had any success at all at taking any new ground," he said.
There are about 2,600 U.S. forces in Iraq, among whom about 450 are training Iraqi troops at three bases across the Arab country. Kirby said that American military trainees in Iraq were also well equipped to defend themselves when IS attacks were launched.

[IraqiNews.com] One person was killed, while six others have injured, following two mortar shells bombings, in al Maamel Tabuk area, in Nahrwan, east of Baghdad.
Security source said to IraqiNews.com "two mortar shells fell in the vicinity of the Maemel Tabok area, in Nahrwan district, which resulted into killing one person, and injuring six others."
The source assured the security forces cordoned off the incident scene, and transported the injured to the hospital for treatment, while the victim's body was sent to the morgue.
[CNN] U.S. helicopter gunships supported Iraqi ground forces battling ISIS holy warriors in al-Baghdadi, military sources said, an action that brings U.S. troops closer to combat.
ISIS took control of the town earlier Friday.
The U.S. military also deployed Apache attack helicopters against an ISIS assault on the strategic Ayn al-Assad Air Base about 15 kilometers (9 miles) south of al-Baghdadi, sources said.
Iraqi ground forces killed those attackers and the Apaches safely returned to base without firing a shot, the source said.
Robert Baer, a former CIA officer, said the battles may indicate a deepening involvement of U.S. troops in the fight against ISIS.
"I think what we're seeing here is mission creep," he said Friday night. "The Iraqi army is not up to the task. And without the United States Air Force and the military on the ground, a lot of these ... bases would be overrun."
Mark Hertling, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant general, said he thought the Iraqi army was improving.
"I think the Iraqi government is getting it back together and, yes, they do need help from coalition forces, U.S. forces right now," he said. "But they're coming around and they realize what a scourge this organization [ISIS] is."

[Iraq Sun] A Sunni tribal leader and his son have been killed in an attack that could further inflame sectarian tension in Iraq.
Officials said gunnies stopped a convoy carrying Sheikh Qassem Sweidan al-Janabi and his son, Mohammad, in south Baghdad late on February 13.
The two were kidnapped and later rubbed out along with six other people who were traveling in the convoy.
The sheikh's nephew, Member of Parliament Zayed al-Janabi, was also detained but later released.
No group has grabbed credit for the attack.
But Deputy Prime Minister Saleh Mutlaq called for curbs on Shi'ite gangs, which operate freely in many areas and have spearheaded the battle against Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. Dont need this if the US would just send them the artillery they have repeatedly requested. Many of the targets could have been "serviced" with FA and spotters by the local forces in contact. Give the Kurds some 155 towed artillery and a pile of ammo: they will put them to good use, and we need not fly so many airstrikes other than interdiction strikes.
Conveniently, we are phasing out the M198 in favor of the 777, so it should be no problem to give those old howitzers to the Kurds...
That is if the State Dept and Obama would stop fellating Erdogan and the Turks. We need to say "screw the Turks and Erdogan" and go the other way, treating them as a adversary, not an ally, due to their behavior going back to the initiation of OIF.

The orange-clad Peshmerga fighters were paraded in cages through the streets filled with jeering holy warriors.

At least 20 IS murderous Moslems were killed when coalition air forces hit locations of the group at the Syrian-Iraqi border.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, several kabooms hit the town of Shaddadi near Hasakah province in northeastern Syria following Arclight airstrikes by the U.S.-led coalition.
The air strikes also claimed the life of one civilian in the town.
