[Mail on Line] Two registered sex offenders stand accused of raping and killing four California women since October of last year - and police believe there are likely more victims.
Transients Franc Cano, 27, and Steven Gordon, 45, were each charged Monday with four felony counts each of special circumstances murder and rape of women with histories of prostitution, but more charges are likely to come.
Both accused killers were wearing ankle monitors last fall when the women were killed in Anaheim and Santa Ana, Anaheim Chief Raul Quezada said during a Monday press briefing.
Gordon has admitted to killing a raping five women, a police source told CBS Los Angeles, but no information regarding the fifth victim has been made public. I hope the judge that ordered the GPS and offender release is sleeping well.

Remember they intercept your email and voice traffic to 'protect' you, but somehow miss the Boston bombers with flags all over the place. Here they had tracking devices actually attached to perps and never got around the correlating registered sex offenders with time and place till after four deaths. It's not about safety and security. It's about controlling the subjects.
It's Spring time in Da Windy City...
A 24-year-old man shot in West Pullman Sunday night was at least the 37th person shot in a violent three-day stretch in Chicago.
Four people were killed on the first weekend of the year to feature a stretch of warm weather, and the violence began as the school day ended on the warm Friday afternoon when a teenage girl was fatally shot in Woodlawn.
The most recent shooting occurred around 10:15 p.m. Sunday evening. A 24-year-old man was walking in the 12200 block of South Emerald Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a Chicago Police Department spokesman. The man was shot in his right foot and taken to Roseland Hospital in stable condition.
In the 2 and one-half days between those two shootings, three people were killed and 36 other people were wounded in shootings. Between Saturday night and Sunday 15 people were wounded in shootings.
Cliven Bundy, the last remaining rancher in Clark County, Nev., stands at the center of what has become a national controversy over the private use of federal land. He is focused on one big issue, he said in a radio interview with Glenn Beck on Monday: He doesn't believe the land belongs to the federal government.
"I think this is very clarifying to people," Beck said. "Your stance is, 'I do not recognize these lands to be federal ... I am staking out my claim that the United States government does not have any jurisdiction, and any rights to the land that [I am] now grazing on.'"
However, a lot of this destined since the Federal government has refused to hand over land to state control even though Nevada has been a state since 1864. When the fed still owns more than 50 percent of the land, why is it a state? States east of and along the Mississippi weren't treated like that when then joined the union from territorial status.

The "excuse" for the attempted BLM take-over was the endangered desert tortoise. Since the BLM has approved and even promoted solar farms to be built in the desert why is the danger to the tortoise not an issue? 89% of Nevada land is owned by the Fed. Do you really think anything could be done on Nevada federal land without Nasty Harry's approval? How does one get Harry's approval? Outright bribes and "contributions" to Harry's campaign war chest? Wanna bet Clive Bundy has never contributed to Nasty Harry?

Another indicator of potential involvement; an unrepentant Reid is coming out of the corner swinging with angry statements, etc. His son is now involved and implicated, so it's personal. He knows he lost the first round and is now going for the knockout.

If Cliven is relying on the constitution, judge Roberts or the Obama administration then he may as well start eating those cows. Mexicans and turtles have more rights than Cliven.

Long drive back to a safe haven like Nellis AFB*. Was a long walk back from Lexington Concord for Crown troops way back when. [What, you didn't have a plan for withdraw?]. It's easy getting in. It's another getting out.
*I'm sure the base commander whose family members live off base will be real happy having them seek shelter there.

We need to divest the Feds of their possession of these lands and return them to the people of the respective states.
Here, Here...The Native Americans will be pleased you took this stand !

Reid is most likely involved but there are lots of questions that arise.
The BLM is doing a big land grab all over the West, initiating a Buy-Back plan to return fractionated inherited properties on the Reservation that go back to treaties made in 1870. Tribes were to keep it in the family and retained mineral rights, but the Feds administer the royalties monies and negotiate contracts with the energy and mineral companies that are profiting from extraction. Then the EPA also unilaterally change laws, too, annexing part of Wyoming. Utah, Arizona, and Colorado have challenged the feds, wanting to assert states' rights and have more control over natural treasures. There is also supposedly another big gas find in Nevada with the hot penny stock tips coming in--all coincidences? More is going on than a contract cowboy round-up.

And Harry Reid (and Son) act as if they, personally, own all that Federal land.
I think people should start asking questions. Why does the Federal Government lay claim to so much land in the west? Personally I think they should own land for A) Military Bases or B) Government offices. And no, you can't claim that 89% of Nevada is one giant Military Base. Everything else should be owned by the State. Even 'National Parks' should be owned by the state (the Fed can run then - but not own them).

...I believe the 'hire-a-cop's found that out at the ranch when they found themselves surrounded. Anyone one remember the ending of the movie Milagro Beanfield War?
[Al Ahram] The front man for Egypt's education ministry has called an incident in which 120 female students were forced by two teachers to strip off their clothes as "sad and immoral," the daily Arabic newspaper Al-Shorouk reported on Sunday.
During a phone interview with host Sherif Amer on TV channel MBC Masr, ministry front man Ahmed Helmy said that the two female teachers had made the girls take off their clothes so that they could search for LE40 that had been stolen.
The front man said that the governor of the Upper Egyptian city of Beni Suef, where the incident took place, had decided to suspend the teachers from work and launch an investigation into the incident.
"The necessary measures will be taken against them, pending the results of the investigation," Helmy said.

Again, as long as there is no US-led ABM-BMD in Ukraine nor a Ukraine armed either indigenously or by NATO wid Nukes, Russia amy not invade the Eastern or Se Ukraine Regions. The other scenario Putin may likely accept is Ukraine-based ABM-BMD + Nukes under "joint/combined" US-NATO + Russian control.
The Bammer + Kerry have to start thinking of the CRimea as Russia's GITMO, + the remiander of Ukraine + Eastern Europe as the Russian equivalent of the Caribbean, i.e. Russia's ".Backyard"
[An Nahar] Austrian prosecutors have launched an investigation into members of ousted Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych's government on charges including money-laundering, officials said Monday.
Although the names and positions of those under investigation have not been released, the investigation will look at those who were close to Yanukovych, who fled into exile in Russia after a four-month uprising in the Ukrainian capital Kiev.
The announcement was made in response to a parliamentary request by the members of the New Austria party, or NEOS, which specifically named ex-Ukrainian prime minister Mykola Azarov -- whose assets have already been frozen by the European Union ...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing... .
Austria is widely seen in Ukraine as a financial haven for oligarchs and those in Yanukovych's entourage who allegedly got rich during his administration.
The Vienna prosecutor's office will investigate "a number of people suspected of money laundering and other crimes", said Justice Minister Wolfgang Brandstetter.

[Al Ahram] The United States is considering supplying arms to Ukraine, where unrest in eastern cities bears the hallmarks of a Russian destabilisation drive, an adviser to Secretary of State John F. I was in Vietnam, you know Kerry Former Senator-for-Life from Massachussetts, self-defined war hero, speaker of French, owner of a lucky hat, conqueror of Cambodia, and current Secretary of State... said on Monday.
Ukraine's president on Monday threatened military action after pro-Russian separatists occupying government buildings in the east ignored an ultimatum to leave and another group of rebels attacked a police headquarters in the troubled region.
Asked during a trip to Berlin whether the United States could arm Ukrainian forces, senior diplomat Thomas Shannon said: "Obviously we are looking at that as an option ... but at this point I can't anticipate whether or not we are going to do that."
Republican Senator John Maverick McCain ... the Senator-for-Life from Arizona, former presidential candidate and even more former foot soldier in the Reagan Revolution... has suggested providing weapons to the Ukraine government, which says the occupations that began on Sunday are part of a Russian-led plan to dismember the country.
"From our point of view what we are seeing in a series of cities mimics what we saw in Crimea both in terms of the tactics and in terms of the people involved," said Shannon, who holds the title of counsellor.
"From our point of view there is a very obvious Russian hand in all of this and we consider these actions to be destabilising and dangerous."
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has dismissed Western accusations that Moscow is destabilising Ukraine, saying the situation could improve only if Kiev took into account the interests of Russian-speaking regions.

So-o-o-o IIUC, iff CHINA [Nuclear Islam?] does the same thingy Putin did as per the Ukraine-Crimea, the good people of Guam-WESTPAC + possibly Hawaii state may look forward to receiving US-approved covert arms shipments to resist the Motherly Russian = PLA Airborne + SPECOPS in righteous guerilla warfare indignation???
Becuz the US can't or won't send in US intervening forces because these may get shot at, + we don't want to hurt China + PLA's feelings as the US still needs to borrow $$$ from China, + we might hit an environmentally-correct "greenie" species of plant or animal or both, + the USA = OWG Amerika can no longer econ afford to unilaterally go to war anyway andor defend itself save in some kind of collective POTUS Dubya-esque "Coalition of the Willing".
Each OWG Global Fed Union = focii is on GFU-specific "Continentalism" or "Regionalism"???
[Washington Post] DONETSK, Ukraine -- Defiant pro-Russian snuffies here in eastern Ukraine pushed this country to the brink of war or dissolution Monday, expanding their hold while the acting president failed to make headway in trying to end the crisis.
After an ultimatum to the snuffies was ignored, the acting president, Oleksandr Turchynov, first vowed to rout them by force, then held out the offer of a referendum to decide Ukraine's fate, then proposed a peacekeeping intervention by the United Nations ...the Oyster Bay money pit... .

[DAWN] A man killed two of his nephews and injured another critically, whom he had kidnapped from Abbottabad ... A pleasant city located only 30 convenient miles from Islamabad. The city is noted for its nice weather and good schools. It is the site of Pakistain's military academy, which was within comfortable walking distance of the residence of the late Osama bin Laden.... , by slitting their throats and dumped the bodies in an abandoned wooded area in Murree, police said on Monday.
The accused, identified as Nadeem, reportedly committed the crime on the advice of a fake pir (occultist) that he should sacrifice three children to get his desires fulfilled.
According to Assistant Superintendent Police (ASP) Murree, Tariq Ellahi, the victims were identified as Meher Ali, Qadir Ali and Zain Ali, who were reportedly between 7 to 14 years of age. Their bodies were found from woods in Murree, he informed.
Rescue 1122 shifted injured Zain Ali to the Pakistain Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS). The accused, however, managed to flee.
The authorities found the knife and an off roader vehicle from the scene of the crime. They told the media that the suspect has a booked flight to Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... for Monday.
The officials said that all airports in the country are alerted about the suspect's plan.
The incident took place a day after a man, looking for 'hidden treasure' again on the advice of an occultist, was buried alive in a deep well he had dug in his house in Multan.

[Al Ahram] The United Nations warned on Monday of the potential "massive destruction" of the world's $5.0-billion (3.6-billion euro) a year banana crop as a plant disease spreads from Asia to Africa and the Middle East. The Rome-based Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) said the TR4 strain of Panama disease, which has already hit tens of thousands of hectares in Southeast Asia, had been reported in Jordan and Mozambique.
The disease is "posing a serious threat to production and export" of bananas, the fourth most important food crop for the world's least developed countries and a key revenue source for poor farmers, FAO said in a report.

Fear notteth, World, GUAM to the recue, presuming of course that America = Amerika doesn't sink us wid "Earthquake/Tectonic Bombs" as it falls back across the Pacific towards CONUS-NORAM in righteous OWG Globalism + anti-China, Nuclear Islam "A2/AREA-DENIAL".
Bananas are a major food crop in the tropics and a major source of money to import into the U.S. and Euroland. The problem is that these countries tend to go for monoculture - only growing one variety so that they maximize their profits.
A hundred years ago the variety that made up nearly all the sweet banana crop was one called "Big Mike". The song "Yes, We Have No Bananas" was written during that era. By all accounts this variety was larger, sweeter, and much better in terms of consistency than the current yellow banana, a variety called "Cavendish".
Then this disease wiped out pretty much every Big Mike banana in the world. Cavendish was the closest to that one and at the time was highly resistant so every banana plantation scrambled to plant it instead.
The problem now is that the disease has mutated and now preys upon Cavendish as well, meaning that this scenario will play out once more. Maybe this time they will move to multiple varieties so that the vulnerabilities of monoculture will not come into play at some future date. However, the banana producing parts of the world will most likely repeat this foolish practice governed by the people that govern them.

This can't be right. They're not blaming the U.S. for the problem (yet). I await a Snowden release of documents on CIA's banana bioweapon program.

Bananas have always had this problem, this is because they lack genetic diversity.
