US Disapprove Declaration Of Muslim Brotherhood As Terrorists
[Ynet] US Secretary of State John F. I was in Vietnam, you know Kerry
Former Senator-for-Life from Massachussetts, self-defined war hero, speaker of French, owner of a lucky hat, conqueror of Cambodia, and current Secretary of State...
spoke with his Egyptian counterpart Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy following the declaration of the Moslem Brüderbund as a terrorist organization, according to Egyptian newspaper A-Sharq Al-Awsat.

According to the report, Kerry expressed reservation regarding the decision, yet clarified that the US does not intend to take action against Egypt. Fahmy responded to Kerry, sayinf "Egypt bases its decision on the Egyptian law."

#1  What side are Kerry and Obama on? Clearly not the US/UK side!

In hindsight countries like Egypt/Iraq need a hardman in charge so the religions can live together in peace.

Give Arab countries to the people and the Islamist parties come to the fore like Egypt/Gaza.

Do Islamist parties believe in freedom of religion?

Abubakar Shekau: Allah sez we must decapitate and mutilate.
Maiduguru - An Islamic extremist leader in north-eastern Nigeria says the bloody insurgency will continue because Allah says they must decapitate and mutilate.

In a video newly released on Saturday, Abubakar Shekau claims responsibility for the 20 December attack on a tank battalion barracks and says his men would have eaten their enemies
like the old days,
but Allah forbids cannibalism.

Witnesses said insurgents put soldiers to flight and set the complex ablaze before they were driven off by a jetfighter.

Shekau warns Christians not to go to churches in this holy month, though Christmas passed in Nigeria with none of the feared terrorist attacks. Five churches were bombed Christmas Day 2011 and dozens of people died. The extremist leader scoffs at bounties on his head - $7m from the United States and $312,500 from Nigeria.

China-Japan-Koreas
Executing Pudgy's Uncle Won't Affect China Ties
SEOUL -- The recent execution of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's once-powerful uncle will not directly affect Pyongyang's relations with China, a former Chinese official said Friday.

Jang Song-thaek, who was executed earlier this month for attempting to overthrow the regime, had been considered a key link between Pyongyang and Beijing. His execution raised speculation that relations between the two neighbors could suffer.

The execution was so sudden and shocking, said Zhao Qizheng, former chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, in an interview with Yonhap News Agency. He said, however, it will not directly affect the North Korea-China relations.

Zhao said he read in detail South Korean news reports about Jang's execution, and China does not have as much information regarding the issue as South Korea. Regarding the speculation that Pyongyang had informed Beijing of the execution beforehand, Zhao said he was not aware of it.

Jang's execution was widely believed to have been part of the young leader's efforts to further solidify his grip in the one man-controlled nation. Questions have been raised how the shocking incident would affect the North's relations with China, the biggest and almost only sponsor of the fellow communist country.

#1  AFAIK at this time there is no indication on the MSM-Net that "Dear Auntie" was executed or exiled by Pudgy, albeit it can be said her existence is poten simply unacknowledged officially by KJU.

IMO the scenario is quite possible that DPRK-China ties aren't being affected by Jang's execution because his pro-Beijing/China wife is covertly still alive + asserting pro-China policies, directives to KJU???

I still may be wrong in my reading of the events - the proof will likely be be iff she ends up dead by Pudgy's hand.

India-Pakistan
Perv's objections to special court have no legal status
ISLAMABAD -- The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday issued its detailed verdict on former president Pervez Musharraf’s plea against the special court constituted to try him for treason. In the 11-page verdict, written by Justice Riaz Ahmed Khan, the IHC declared that trial under Article 6 could not be held under the Army Act. The court said that all objections by Pervez Musharraf against the formation of special court, appointment of judges and prosecutor had no legal value. The former president had raised objections over authority of the special court, appointment of judges and prosecutor.

The court reiterated that the treason case against Musharraf would only be heard in the special court and trial in military court was not possible until certain legal amendments were made.

The special court consists of Perv's political enemies Sindh High Court’s Justice Faisal Arab, Justice Tahira Safdar of the Balochistan High Court and Justice Yawar Ali of the Lahore High Court. Musharraf, while challenging the authority of the special court, had stated that he was army chief when he imposed the 2007 emergency and a military court alone could examine his actions.

Musharraf was due to appear before the special court on December 24 to face treason charges under Article 6 for suspending, subverting and abrogating the constitution, imposing an emergency in the country in November 2007 and detaining judges of superior courts. But on the day of the hearing, Musharraf’s counsel told the bench he could not personally appear before the judges because of security threats.

Benazir's kids to follow footsteps to martyrdom politix
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Patron-in-chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday announced his two sisters would follow him into politics before the next general elections.

“All children of Benazir Bhutto will start taking part in active politics before the next elections,” Bilawal told a huge public meeting on the sixth death anniversary of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto. He asked people to support him and his sisters, Bakhtawar and Aseefa, who attended the rally along with their father, former president Asif Ali Zardari.

Calling terrorists “wild animals” who are “thirsty for human blood”, the PPP leader said that his party would stand against terrorism.

“They carry out attacks in mosques and kill innocent people in the name of Islam... they are not humans,” he said.

Bilawal also demanded that the Punjab government launch a crackdown on the militants’ safe havens in the province. He said that if the government succeeded in resisting terrorists from getting shelter in Punjab, he would himself commend the act.

“If the arrow [electoral symbol of PPP] and lion [electoral symbol of ruling PML-N] jointly hunt the animals [terrorists], they could save the country from monsters.” Bilawal said he would launch a jihad against terrorists because elimination of terrorists is “the only way to restore peace in Pakistan”.

Criticising the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Bilawal said the terrorist outfit killed Benazir and many other innocent people.

Accepting that the path he has chosen was full of dangers, Bilawal, in an obvious reference to the tombs of his mother and grandfather Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, said his destiny was “martyrdom and Garhi Khuda Bukhsh”.

“I am not afraid. Martyrdom is my destiny and Garhi Khuda Bukhsh is my final resting place,” he added.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Lack Of Fuel Grounds Gaza's Sole Power Plant
[Ynet] Lack of fuel from Israel brought Gazoo's lone power plant to a halt on Friday, just 12 days after it was fired back to life following a seven-week shutdown, the Paleostinian territory's electricity firm said.

"The plant stopped working on Friday morning due to a lack of fuel caused by Israel's closure of the Kerem Shalom crossing," an electricity company official said. Israel closed the crossing to the besieged Paleostinian territory on Tuesday following a series of violent incidents on the border with the Jewish state. Egypt also enforces the blockade on Gazoo.

Source: Hamas, PA rift behind Gazoo station shutdown

[Ynet] A security source denied the claim that the power station in Gazoo shut down because the Kerem Shalom crossing closed during a conversation with Ynet.

He claimed that the fuel shortage in Gazoo was caused by an internal dispute between the Paleostinian Authority and Hamas, which has refused to pay for the fuel the PA purchases from Israel. The Kerem Shalom crossing was closed after a worker fixing the border fence was killed on Wednesday.

Israel to announce plan for drawing more French Jews
Israel is set to announce a three-year plan aimed at attracting more French Jews to settle in the Jewish state.

The first move will consist of recognizing French diplomas for medical professionals and tax consultants, an official from Israel’s Ministry of Public Diplomacy and Diaspora Affairs told the Ma’ariv daily this week. The government has decided in principle to increase funding for facilitating the arrival of new immigrants from France, said the official, who was not named.

“The government has realized this is a historic window of opportunity,” said the official.
Seeing as French Jews are being terrorized in ways large and small, it's also a moral obligation...
More than 3,000 French Jews will have moved to Israel by year’s end, an annual tally reached only four times in the past, most recently in 2005. The causes for the surge are said to be the community’s deep attachment to Israel, rising anti-Semitism and the financial crisis gripping French economy.

Currently, Israel does not recognize a host of French diplomas, including those of optometrists, opticians, physiotherapists and tax consultants.

“This is a stumbling block to aliyah,” Ariel Kandel, the Jewish Agency for Israel’s chief of operations in France, told JTA earlier this month. “As it stands now, I need to advise people in those professions not to come.”

In addition to recognizing more diplomas from France, the ministry plans to offer special assistance for French Jews with job placement, housing and education needs for children, Ma’ariv reported.
House them in the new settlements in the West Bank.
Many French Jews who want to emigrate choose Britain, Canada or the United States over Israel, according to the ministry, which estimates that Israel has the potential of attracting 42,000 French Jewish immigrants by 2017.
Interesting. The US doesn't recognize French graduate medical training though we do recognize French medical school diplomas.

U.S. aid to Syrian refugees generally stops at the border
Only a tiny number of the more than 2 million refugees fleeing Syria's civil war can meet the requirements to be resettled in the United States, frustrating international relief officials who say the numbers needing help could nearly double in the coming year.

The Obama administration allowed only 90 Syrian refugees to make permanent homes in the United States from the start of the Syrian civil war through September. About 50 made the journey from camps outside Syria to live in the United States over the past year, including 20 admitted since Oct. 1.
If this is because we're screening them carefully to ensure that no new fifth column is being introduced into our country, then no apology is required.
The trickle reflects the difficulty of resettling people during wartime, as well as a lack of political pressure on the United States to do more.

Russia: Syrian toxin removal deadline will be missed
Deadly toxins that were to have been removed from Syria by Dec. 31 under an international effort to rid the country of its chemical arsenal have not yet been delivered to port to be put on ships, a Russian diplomat was quoted as saying on Friday.

The deadline will be missed because toxins that can be used to make sarin, VX gas and other agents were being packed up and still faced a potentially hazardous trip to the port of Latakia, RIA news agency quoted Mikhail Ulyanov as saying.

"The removal has not yet begun," he said after an international meeting on the chemical arms removal effort.

Syria has agreed to abandon its chemical weapons by next June under a deal proposed by Russia and hashed out with the United States, after an Aug. 21 sarin gas attack that Western nations blamed on President Bashar Assad's government. Damascus agreed to transport the "most critical" chemicals, including around 20 tons of mustard nerve agent, out of the northern port of Latakia by Dec. 31 to be safely destroyed abroad away from the war zone.

But the head of that global chemicals weapon watchdog, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, said earlier this month that the deadline could be missed.

Russia, which has given Assad crucial support during the nearly three-year-old civil conflict in Syria, airlifted 75 armored vehicles and trucks to the nation last week to carry chemicals to Latakia.
And to carry Syrian troops wherever they're needed. Very shrewd, Vlad...
Syrian government forces took control of a key highway connecting Damascus to the coast earlier this month, but Ulyanov said the trip could still be treacherous.

"They will have to be taken on dangerous roads, there are several dangerous stretches," RIA quoted Ulyanov, head of the Foreign Ministry's disarmament department, as saying.

He also said experts from several countries, the United Nations and OPCW had reached a "common understanding of the main points" of a plan to get the toxins from the port into international waters, but gave no details.

Ulyanov said on Wednesday that while they are in Syrian waters, Russian and Chinese warships would escort the Danish and Norwegian container ships that are to carry the toxins away for destruction further from the war zone.

Iran says it is developing new nuclear centrifuges
TEHRAN -- Iran's nuclear chief said Friday that the country is building a new generation of centrifuges for uranium enrichment, but that they need further tests before they can become operational.
Good thing Champ has an agreement with them not to do the very thing they're doing...
Under a landmark nuclear deal reached last month between Iran and world powers, Iran promised not to bring new centrifuges into operation for six months. But the deal does not stop it from developing centrifuges.
So Iran will 'build' the centrifuges but not 'bring them into operation.' I'm guessing they'll just 'test' them. Extensively...
In comments reported by state TV late Thursday, nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi did not elaborate on how long the building and testing would take. He also said Iran has a total of 19,000 centrifuges, though he did not say how many were operational. In August, Iran said it had 18,000 centrifuges.
How many were infected with a virus?
Iran previously gave the U.N. nuclear watchdog information on the new generation of machines.
